UK: A “Thank You” Letter to Practitioners from the Organisers of the Edinburgh Festival

For the second year in a row, Falun Gong practitioners won first prize in the opening parade of Edinburgh’s world famous international festival. Pictures of practitioners also appeared on the front page of several Scottish newspapers. Recently, festival organisers wrote a letter to Falun Gong practitioners to express their gratitude and to ask them to pick up the first prize trophy. -
Finland: SOS Tour Attracts Media Attention in Every City

During this SOS Tour, practitioners had some great opportunities to tell people about the legal process to bring Jiang to justice. In some of the cities they visited, people had never seen Falun Dafa before and were supportive. In every city, a journalist from the local newspaper came to report on the activity and practitioners appeared on the front page of the following day’s paper. -
Sweden: Celebrating Five Years of Falun Dafa in Kalmar City

Five years ago, we did not even have a video tape to learn the exercises from. We had the book Falun Gong, with pictures of the exercises. We put a key on top of the page so that it was not turned over by the wind and then we practised the exercises, comparing our movements to the pictures. We tried to perfect our movements by pointing out each other’s mistakes. -
UK: Irish and UK Dafa Practitioners Work Together to Publicise the Family Rescue Campign in Northern Ireland

Over three days, the UK practitioner and some Irish practitioners went to three of the biggest cities in Ireland - the capital Dublin, Galway, and Limerick - and three important cities in Northern Ireland - the capital Belfast, Lisburn, and Newtown. We gave petition letters and details of the family rescue cases to local councillors and the media. -

Amazed at how peaceful the exercises looked, many people took information about free classes around the UK and learned more about the brutal persecution that has now been happening in China for over four years. Many people I spoke to were astonished that such a peaceful practice could be so viciously persecuted. -
UK: Touching People’s Hearts at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

A Western man and a Hong Kong lady had heard some of Jiang’s propaganda about Falun Gong. A Chinese practitioner talked with them and showed them photos of persecuted practitioners. They said they had suspected that the propaganda was lies and now it was confirmed. They left after wishing the practitioner good luck. -
Sweden: Falun Dafa Catches People's Attention at the Middle Ages Festival in Gotland

No matter whether practitioners practised exercises in the park or demonstrated them by the roadside, they caught the attention of passers-by, who came over to ask for flyers. Practitioners grasped every opportunity to let people know more about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution that is happening in China. -
Sweden: Celebrating the Fifth Anniversary of Dafa’s Introduction to Kalmar City

August 9th 2003 was exactly five years since Kalmar City’s first Falun Gong practitioner began to practise. After August 9th 1998, people in the city have seen Falun Gong practitioners performing the exercises and promoting Dafa in the beautiful and peaceful Castle Park every Saturday morning. During the past five years, practitioners in Kalmar City have become more and more mature and steadfast in their cultivation. -

This lovely old lady began to pay more attention to the practitioners, slowly adjusting her mind to the new phenomenon in front of her, asking a few simple questions, and marvelling at the way they performed the exercises so harmoniously and elegantly together. It was clear that the serene energy field and the conduct of practitioners had left her with a warm impression of Dafa, and that she understood the kind of people we were. -
UK: Small Stories from Activities during the Edinburgh Arts Festival

One Chinese boy studying in London came to tell us, “I’m waiting to see what’s going to happen to that evil guy (Jiang).” The boy told us that he did not dare to take our leaflets when walking past the appeal at the Chinese embassy in London. Meeting Dafa practitioners in Edinburgh was a very good opportunity for him and he took leaflets for his friends. Before leaving, he told us, “I wish you success!” -
Czech Republic: Practitioners Tell the People of North Moravia about the Lawsuit Against Jiang

After seeing the beautiful exercises, a reporter came to find out more about why practitioners were introducing Falun Gong to the public, and about the irrational persecution of innocent people, who live according to the principles of Truthfulness, Kindness and Tolerance. The media then published articles about the persecution, so many people got to find out about the situation in China. -
UK: Practitioners Perform a Piece of Street Drama in Edinburgh called “Chinese Dictator Jiang Zemin's Worst Nightmare”

After winning First Prize in the Edinburgh International Festival Parade, Falun Gong practitioners performed a piece of street drama, which also featured several actors and a puppet, to expose Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin’s crimes against humanity and morality. The show took place at one end of the busiest street in Edinburgh on 4th August. -
Germany: Falun Gong at the Multicultural Music Festival in Karlsruhe

Every year, there is a big multicultural music festival held for three days in Karlsruhe’s Goethe Square, which always attracts over 100,000 people. Dafa practitioners rented a stall over the weekend so that they could tell people about the brutal persecution against practitioners in China and the unprecedented lawsuit launched against the persecution’s instigator, dictator Jiang Zemin. -
Ireland: Spreading the Fa during Waterford’s Street Festival

There was a lively atmosphere in the city centre on Saturday as thousands of onlookers came for Dafa leaflets and to ask about the practice. On Sunday morning we held a free exercise teaching class in the local park. The class was very successful: many enthusiastic locals came to learn from the volunteer practitioners who taught them the peaceful exercises and introduced the practise. -
Sweden: Let every Town and City know the Goodness of Dafa
2003-08-05
Dafa practitioners went to the beautiful city of Strömstad and used their spare time to tell people about the goodness of Falun Dafa and the facts behind the brutal persecution against practitioners in China. They appealed to good people to stand alongside Falun Gong and end this persecution, which is aimed directly at human morality.
