Latvia: Dafa Practitioner Meets President During Art Exhibition in Riga

Local media, government officials, artists and art lovers in their hundreds attended the opening. The administrators of the gallery were so impressed with the the exhibition that they waived the usual fee for using the gallery, provided free advertising for the exhibition and presented Zhang Cui Ying with flowers. -
France: Celebrating the First Anniversary of Fontenay-sous-Bois Falun Dafa Day

Fontenay-sous-Bois is near Paris in France. Last year it announced March 2nd as “Falun Dafa Day”. One year later, Mayor Jean-Francois Voguet sent a letter to Falun Gong practitioners to declare once again his support for Falun Gong. -
Germany: Teaching the Exercises and Revealing the Truth in Bielefeld Fitness Centre

On the afternoon of March 1st, sixteen people came to the free Falun Dafa exercise class, including two coaches from the fitness centre. The effects we received were quite remarkable. People left with a deep impression about the goodness of Dafa and we made an appointment for the same time next week. -
UK: University Starts a Weekly Radio Programme About Falun Gong
2003-03-06A PhD at Manchester University (UMIST) was invited to talk on the show. His fiancée has been imprisoned in Beijing because she practises Falun Gong. When the students heard the news, they all felt astonished. They could not believe that these kinds of things are still occurring in the world today. -
Germany: Activities to Rescue our Friends During an Information Day in Hamburg (photos)
2003-03-05We collected many petition signatures to rescue Falun Gong practitioners who are imprisoned in China, including Xiong Wei, who previously studied at Berlin Industrial University. She was sent to a forced labour camp for distributing leaflets about the persecution of Falun Gong in Beijing. -
Italy: Spreading the Fa in Padova

Italy: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Explain the Truth of the Persecution at a Summit on Freedom of Religion and Belief
2003-03-02After the summit, the students surrounded the practitioners and asked for Dafa materials as well as the persecution video. The philosophy teacher who organised this summit asked to learn the exercises. Those who attended the summit expressed the wish to help more people come to realise the facts of this persecution. -

Spain: Information Day on the Island of Tenerife

By noon we had unexpectedly handed out all the leaflets, so we hurried to have more printed. We gave out over 2,000 leaflets in a single day. Many residents asked about the local practice sites where they can learn the exercises for free, and some of them even learned the exercises on the spot. -
One Visit Leads to Another
2003-02-25I was invited to my local Amnesty International group in Mönsterås in the southeast of Sweden, to tell them about Falun Gong. There were eight ladies of different ages in the group and they told me that they had heard and read some things about Falun Gong, and now they wanted to find out the true facts. -

French Practitioners Introduce Falun Gong during Chinese New Year on the Island of Martinique

Martinique people showed great interest in Falun Gong and felt shocked to learn that Falun Gong practitioners in China are not allowed to practise the exercises, and are suffering inhuman persecution. The largest newspaper in Martinique, France Antilles published two announcements about Falun Gong activities (left). -
Russia: Report on the Medical Effects of Falun Gong from Moscow City Business Committee
2003-02-23A medical investigation and study on some Russian Falun Gong practitioners was conducted by an Investigation and Study Team, composed of Professor Guluoji (MD), a well known legal medical expert in the Legal and Medical Office of the Russian Federal Internal Affairs Department, and Mr. Simingtani, the Chief Examination Doctor in the Investigation Office of the Justice Department. -
Switzerland: Practitioners Expose the Truth Behind the Persecution at the World Economic Forum in Davos
2003-02-22A Swiss participant at the Forum said, “I have read all of your materials. What you’re doing is really important...It is incredible that Jiang Zemin is oppressing such kind-hearted people. I’ll bring up the issue of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights to the Chinese delegation at the press conference later on.” -
UK: Falun Dafa at a University’s “Oneworld Week”
2003-02-22On Friday, Falun Gong took centre stage at the “Peace and Tranquillity” event, which was a huge success. Many students watched and learnt the beautiful exercises and were amazed that no money was involved. One person commented that when she entered the room the Dafa music was incredibly powerful. The event organisers said that the atmosphere was so peaceful that they didn’t want to leave.
