A PhD at Manchester University (UMIST) was invited to talk on the show. His fiancée has been imprisoned in Beijing because she practises Falun Gong. When the students heard the news, they all felt astonished. They could not believe that these kinds of things are still occurring in the world today. -
Germany: Activities to Rescue our Friends During an Information Day in Hamburg (photos)
2003-03-05We collected many petition signatures to rescue Falun Gong practitioners who are imprisoned in China, including Xiong Wei, who previously studied at Berlin Industrial University. She was sent to a forced labour camp for distributing leaflets about the persecution of Falun Gong in Beijing. -

Spain: Information Day on the Island of Tenerife

By noon we had unexpectedly handed out all the leaflets, so we hurried to have more printed. We gave out over 2,000 leaflets in a single day. Many residents asked about the local practice sites where they can learn the exercises for free, and some of them even learned the exercises on the spot. -
One Visit Leads to Another
2003-02-25I was invited to my local Amnesty International group in Mönsterås in the southeast of Sweden, to tell them about Falun Gong. There were eight ladies of different ages in the group and they told me that they had heard and read some things about Falun Gong, and now they wanted to find out the true facts. -

Russia: Report on the Medical Effects of Falun Gong from Moscow City Business Committee

UK: Falun Dafa at a University’s “Oneworld Week”
2003-02-22On Friday, Falun Gong took centre stage at the “Peace and Tranquillity” event, which was a huge success. Many students watched and learnt the beautiful exercises and were amazed that no money was involved. One person commented that when she entered the room the Dafa music was incredibly powerful. The event organisers said that the atmosphere was so peaceful that they didn’t want to leave. -

Nearly everybody took the materials, which included information about the Genocide lawsuit filed against Jiang in America, and also thanked us. -
Video: Falun Gong Practitioners bring Chinese Traditional Festival to Cambridge
2003-02-20On one hand, Falun Gong practitioners used their artistic talent to introduce the traditional Chinese lantern festival to the British people. On the other hand, the artistic performances served as a means to expose large-scale human rights violations in China.
