Passersby took information distributed by practitioners, and signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution. Several even applauded the practitioners.

Six hundred and six legislators from 30 countries signed a joint statement on July 18, 2020, condemning the 21-year-long span of “systematic and brutal” persecution of the peaceful spiritual discipline of Falun Gong and calling for the Chinese Communist Party to stop the persecution immediately.

Practitioners introduced their traditional cultivation discipline, and many people stopped to learn more about Falun Gong and its persecution by the Chinese Communist Party.

From the U.S. to the U.K., from Canada to Taiwan, countries and regions around the globe have felt the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s threat to the free world. Among them, the U.S. government has been leading the effort to counter the CCP's influence.

As practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises, many passersby stopped to chat and learn more about the practice.

Ms. Shen Jing’e wanted people to know how Falun Gong had saved her life, so she went to Beijing to appeal to the government. She was imprisoned multiple times, subjected to an array of brutal and inhumane forms of tortures, and eventually died as a result.

Falun Dafa practitioners in Hannover asked people to sign a petition demanding the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) stop removing organs from living practitioners incarcerated for their faith.

The annual Helsinki Day was held on June 12, but the celebration was reduced to a few activities of small groups due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Falun Gong practitioners organised an information day event at Kamppi Centre.
