Canadian Resident: Exposing the Torture Committed Against My Family by the Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province Police Department and 610 Office

In the morning of February 9th, 2007, seven police came to my home and found my wife, Huang Jinling, was at home by herself. They arrested my wife, ransacked my home, confiscated our computer, color printer and other things worth 10,000 yuan. They did not give a receipt, even though my daughter and two sisters of my daughter-in-law repeatedly asked for one. The CCP keeps promoting the idea of a "harmonious society." What kind of "harmonious society" is this when police throw an innocent old lady into prison a few days before the Chinese New Year? -
Supplemental Information about Qiqihar City Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Weihua's Death in the No. 3 Prison of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2007-03-05On June 17th, 2003, Wang Weihua's family received a notice from the No. 3 Prison in Harbin City. The notice said that Mr. Wang Weihua had been killed with an iron by criminal Zhang Shuyou. Zhang was twenty-eight years old, and was sentenced to twenty years of imprisonment for murder, robbery and theft. Later, the autopsy found that there were nineteen major injuries to Wang's body. They were at his mouth, temple, top of the head, chest, back, arms, legs and internal organs. Only after waiting for over ninety days was Wang's body buried. -
Ms. Zou Ruxiang, 57, Tells of Being Tortured in Baimalong Forced Labour Camp, Where She Became Disabled and Lost Her Memory
2007-03-05I'm 57 years old. I was arrested and sent to Baimalong Forced Labour Camp, where I was tortured in inhuman ways. I was taken to a mental hospital, where they injected me with unknown drugs. I cannot recall many of the horrible deeds the guards did to me. Originally I weighed about 130 pounds, but in 2002, when my husband carried me home, I weighed less than 55 pounds. I was totally paralysed, I could not see, and I had lost my memory. It has been more than four years now. My memory is still only partly recovered, my vision is very poor, and I still limp when I walk. -
The Severe Persecution of Ms. Liu Yuwei in Baimalong Forced Labour Camp, Hunan Province
2007-03-05Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yuwei was twice sentenced to Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Zhuzhou City. Guards ordered criminals to beat her, and she was slapped a hundred times within one day. She saw flashes of light before her eyes, but was not allowed to close them; if she did so, they would pour lots of water over her. Ms. Liu felt as if she had been blinded. She was soaked through, but was not allowed to change clothes. Later, the criminals took off her clothes and beat her, and poked her private parts with the wooden fork used to dry clothes outside. The guards ordered several criminals to hold her down, and grabbed her hand to force her to sign the guarantee statement to stop practising Falun Dafa. -
Ms. Xu Hongmei and Ms. Shen Zili Tortured to Death in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province (Photos)

On February 17th, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Xu Hongmei (pictured) and Ms. Shen Zili were taken to the Qiqihar City Second Hospital with ankle shackles on. They had been tortured for five days by police. They both had lost consciousness and could not eat; they were coughing up blood and twitching. Qiqihar City 610 Office officers came to the hospital attempting to extort 20,000 yuan from the practitioners' families, promising the practitioners' release. Their families had no money to pay. Ms. Xu Hongmei and Ms. Shen Zili both died on February 27th. -
Older Practitioner Mr. Tian Fujian Died from Police Brutality in Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province
2007-03-0461-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Tian Fujian was arrested twice between the years of 2000 and 2001. Police officers and officials have constantly come to his home to harass him. In September 2006, Mr. Tian Fujian was arrested again. He was taken to hospital as he was close to death due to torture and died soon after he was released on December 23rd, 2006. Mr. Tian Fujian's son knew that his father was only released because he was dying as a result of being tortured, and he went to the Yuanjiang City Police Department to request a settlement. They gave him ten thousand yuan as compensation. -
Account of the Events that Led to the Death of Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhou Wuliang of Hunan Province in 2001
2007-03-04Mr. Zhou Wuliang, who was over 50 years old, was well liked and respected by the community. In late February 2001, nearly all of the Falun Dafa practitioners from Anhua County were arrested and taken to the Anhua County Brainwashing Centre, where they were imprisoned and persecuted. It was during this period that Mr. Zhou was beaten to death by the police in the brainwashing centre. The police, however, claimed that Mr. Zhou Wuliang had committed suicide by jumping off the building. The so-called investigation from the authorities never happened. -
Elderly Practitioners Received Brutal Treatment in Fushan Town, Shandong Province in 2000
2007-03-04They gathered up sixteen thugs. Two of them beat each Falun Dafa practitioner. They started to torture us at noon. First they used a heavy catalogue to beat us all over our bodies. Then they forced us to stretch out our arms and hold them horizontally while they placed two large steelyard weights on each of our arms. They put other weights on top of the steelyard weights and also put wooden boxes on our heads. If the box on our heads dropped, they would beat us to the floor and then kick us hard. Afterwards they still got us up and forced us to stand with the box on our heads. They asked while beating us, "Do you still want to practise?" We all firmly said, "Yes!" -
The Persecution I Experienced in Beijing's Legal Training Centre
2007-03-04When I was first taken here by Beijing policemen, several armed police officers took me to a cell. An armed police officer monitored me around the clock. I protested the incarceration with a hunger strike. In the first few days, several armed police ordered a doctor from the nearby Tuanhe Hospital to force-feed me. They called the force-feeding "being responsible for your life." The secret police observed me through the door to see if I was fearful, nervous, tired or anxious. Since I was calm, a few days later the secret police showed up. They tried to trick me and convince me with their evil theories and to threaten me. I knew that as a Falun Dafa practitioner I cannot be convinced or tricked by them, no matter how nice they pretended to be, or how tough they looked. -
The Lives of Mr. Yang Jianpo, Mr. Liu Yongwang and Mr. Bian Zhongxue Are in Danger at Jidong Prison in Hebei Province
2007-03-03Falun Gong practitioner, Mr. Yang Jianpo is currently being detained at Jidong Prison. He has been on a hunger strike for over three hundred and fifty days. The prison doctor gave him intravenous injections and oxygen, as well as injecting him with an unknown drug. His body contracted with spasms of pain during the injections, from which the guards knew he was still conscious. Members of his family have gone to Jidong Prison more than a dozen times, requesting to see their loved one whose life is in danger. However, prison guards have rejected their request using various excuses. -
The Crimes at Dalian City Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province
2007-03-03The situation in the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp is horrible. To maintain an intimidating atmosphere, the guards will find any excuse to torment someone once in a while. The electric baton is used primarily, and the painful cries of the victims can always be heard. Division head Lu often applied this torture when on duty at night. Falun Gong practitioners are among these people and forbidden to talk to others. They live in terror and loneliness all day long. -
Practitioner Ms. Gong Shulian from Sichuan Province Sentenced Again after Escaping from a Detention Centre
2007-03-03Ms. Gong Shulian, 45, went to Beijing to appeal the persecution at the end of 2000. After returning from Beijing, police arrested her and sentenced her to a year and a half of forced labour. She suffered various forms of torture and almost died. She was then sent to a detention centre after the forced labour camp. Ms. Gong miraculously escaped from the detention centre at the end of 2005, but was arrested again in May 2006 when she was distributing materials and explaining the facts about Falun Dafa. -
The Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners at the Kaiping Forced Labour Camp in Tangshan, Hebei Province
2007-03-03If practitioners held a hunger strike to protest the persecution, they would be subjected to brutal force-feeding. The tormentors handcuffed practitioners' arms behind their back, to a chair. Several people would hold the practitioner's head and insert tubes through their nose. Then they would feed, little by little, some black material from a small container; all the while chatting with each other. It takes 40 minutes to finish the forced-feeding, which is more painful than delivering a baby. Moreover, in the winter, they would place practitioners in rooms with the windows open and only allow them to wear one sweater. Practitioners often have to sleep on the ground on a cold wooden board. -
Mr. Tai Zhengxu Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
2007-03-03At the beginning of the persecution, Mr. Tai Zhengxu was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested in July 2001. He was arrested in 2002 while telling people the facts about Falun Gong. Four to five policemen beat him until he passed out. He was detained, threatened, and tortured, and not allowed to sleep for more than ten days. Later, he was sentenced to imprisonment and lost his freedom. He is now detained in the Hongzehu Prison with a seven-year prison term just because he spoke out for justice for Falun Gong. -
Elderly Ms. Li Xuebi from Chengdu, Sichuan Province Died after Being Tortured to Disability
2007-03-02After 62-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xuebi was tortured until she was disabled, the authorities continued to harass her. She died at 2:30 p.m. on February 17th, 2007, Chinese New Year's Eve. When she was detained for three months in the Luzhou City Prison, there were no bed, bedding, or even straw in the cell. Ms. Li had to sleep on the wet floor, causing her spine to deform and severely damaging her health. She was released when she was dying and could not take care of herself in the prison.
