Calling for the Rescue of My Father, He Sanpu, Held at a Brainwashing Centre in Henan Province

In July 2000, we asked many people before finding out that my father had been sentenced to two years of forced labour. My mother and I immediately went to the labour camp with some clothes for him. I then saw him for the first time since his disappearance. The detainees were doing heavy manual labour and turning over sand for casting iron. Then a man walked up to me. I looked at him carefully and finally recognised my father. He used to be strong and healthy, but at that point he was skin and bones. His hands were deeply bruised by the coarse sand. I lost control and cried loudly. -
Ms. Li Xiuqin Emaciated After Being Detained for 48 Days

On May 27th 2006, Ms. Li Xiuqin from Heilongjiang Province was arrested. She was detained for 48 days. She used to be very healthy after cultivating Falun Dafa, but she became little more than skin and bones after only 48 days of detention; it's as if she has changed into a completely different person. Ms. Li Xiuqin is having difficulty walking because she is too thin. State Security agents tried to send her to forced labour, but the Jiamusi Labour Camp refused to accept her. -
Mrs. Ban Huijuan Mentally Disoriented Due to Severe Torture in Heizuizi Prison
2006-08-12Falun Dafa practitioner Ban Huijuan from Huadian City, Jilin Province became mentally disoriented after suffering prolonged persecution in Heizuizi Prison. Three policemen tied her arms and legs onto the four corners of a bed and pasted wet paper on her face until she almost suffocated. Half a month ago her mother and son visited her at the prison. She had to be carried to the meeting place by two people and could no longer recognise her family. She spoke only broken words, and kept forgetting what she had just said as she continued to speak. By the end of the meeting, she still barely recognised her family. The guard said she was faking it. -
A Necklace Stained by Torture with Tears of Blood (Photos)

This is the necklace woven by Ms. Sun Yan, a Falun Gong practitioner, while she was being detained at Longshan Detention Centre. She wove this necklace with compassion to be given as a gift to her fellow practitioner, Ms. Gao Rongrong. Guards shocked Ms. Gao continuously for about 7 to 8 hours with electric batons, so that her face became seriously damaged. Ms. Gao Rongrong has passed away, but Ms. Sun Yan is still detained and persecuted at Masanjia Prison. -
Five Years of Persecution Experienced by a 60-Year-Old Lady
2006-08-11Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Xu Zhnwen, 61, lives in Hubei Province. In the past five years, she has been arrested five times and searched just because she firmly cultivates Falun Dafa. In 2001, she was arrested when passing out leaflets exposing the persecution, and was detained for 38 days. Guard Liu Huomao (male) beat her brutally twice, and released her only after extorting four thousand yuan. In 2003, with the same excuse, Ms. Xu Zhanwen had been detained for 37 days. She was released after her friends and family paid a bribe. -
Two Sisters from Chongzhou City Brutally Persecuted
2006-08-11Falun Gong practitioner Tian Xiuyuan is being brainwashed at the Yangmahe Women’s Prison in Jianyang. She was diagnosed with a tumour in her womb and needed surgery. The authorities refused to release her on medical bail. In the mean time, Tian Biying, her sister, has been jailed at Chongzhou Detention Centre. The authorities are attempting to sentence her. Tian Xiuyun’s husband knows that Falun Dafa is good, but was deterred by the fact that his wife and sister-in-law are constantly being persecuted. Therefore, he does not dare complain to the authorities for their release. -
Seven Years of Persecution Before Ms. Gao Huifang Died
2006-08-11Ms. Gao Huifang, 48 years old, was sent to a psychiatric hospital on three occasions and also was detained twice in the Nanmusi Female Detention Centre in Zizhong. While she was in detention, her husband was forced to divorce her. On June 29th, 2006, Gao Huifang was arrested by police in Longchang Town . At noon of that day, she died. We appeal to the international community and call for all good people to pay attention to what happened to this female Falun Gong practitioner. -
Practitioners Tortured in Hebei Province Fourth Prison
2006-08-11The atmosphere is terrifying in Hebei Province Fourth Prison, especially in the third ward, where practitioners are being tied with ropes, strung up and beaten, having their fingers burnt by cigarette lighters, and being deprived of the right to sleep. Practitioner Mr. Xia Xinmin was hung up backwards with his hands tied together, and both feet off the ground. In this position, Mr. Xia was punched in the chest by prisoners. He suffered from sleep deprivation for two months. Guards burnt his fingers to charcoal with a cigarette lighter while he was unconscious. After he was set down from suspending there, he could not walk for a long time. -
Many Falun Dafa Practitioners on Hunger Strike in Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp
2006-08-10Many Falun Dafa practitioners are detained in the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province. In order to protest the persecution, practitioners began a group hunger strike on August 1st, 2006. Guards have brutally force-fed the practitioners. One guard has been calling Falun Dafa practitioners' families, asking them to visit these practitioners recently, and threatened that if these practitioners still refuse to eat, they would be force-fed. All the family members were asked to sign their names on a piece of paper stating that if these practitioners' lives are in danger, the labour camp administration is absolutely not responsible! -

Elderly Ms Quan Huiping of Hunan Province Suffers Persecution for Seven Years - Husband Dies Unjustly
2006-08-10My name is Ms. Quan Huiping, and I am retired. During the seven years since the persecution began on July 20th, 1999, I have been arrested, detained, locked up and kept in a forced labour camp over a dozen times, only because of my belief in Falun Dafa. In February 2002 the police locked me up. Unable to deal with the blow of my being detained once again, my husband passed away in the afternoon of February 9th. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Brutally Beaten and Enslaved by the Changsha Women's Prison
2006-08-10According to prison regulations, the older people above the age of sixty are forbidden from participating in labour work, but the older Falun Gong practitioners are still forced to work. Besides peeling nuts and packing tofu, Falun Dafa practitioners under the "Transformation and Re-education Team" also had to make mats and weave clothes. They worked, ate, drank, excreted and slept together in the prison cells, which held more than ten people. This was both unhygienic and inhuman. Due to the humidity being very high in the room, all the bed sheets were damp. The practitioners were unable to get any rest because of the extreme temperatures during the winter. -
After Severe Torture, Elderly Practitioner Zhang Peiyun from Sichuan Province Given Nine and a Half Year Sentence
2006-08-10On February 24th, 2006, the People’s Court of East District in Panzhihua City sentenced 60-year-old Ms. Zhang Peiyun to nine years and six months’ imprisonment. At the police station, when she was arrested, she was hung up for nine days and nine nights. In those nine days, she was not allowed to sleep. As soon as she closed her eyes, policewoman Tian Ping poured cold water onto her chest. Her clothing was always wet. A heavy policeman, about 5.9 feet tall, fiercely beat Ms. Zhang Peiyun’s head, which gave her a very painful headache. Policeman Tian Ping said, "We treat Falun Gong even fiercer than those who commit homicide and arson." Tian Ping pinched Ms. Zhang’s wrists and shoulders, causing her even more pain. -
The Tortures I Suffered Because I Appealed for Falun Gong in 2000
2006-08-09on March 13th 2000, police detained me in my local detention centre. Policeman Li Wei used his soles to slap me on my face. When he got tired from beating me up, he left to take a rest. Yan Wu then continued to slap me on my face. My teeth became loose and blood came out of my mouth. My whole face swelled and deformed. Yan Wu forced me to take off my trousers and used a shovel to hit my buttocks. Later the head of the shovel went loose and fell off when he beat me. He then used the handle of the shovel to hit my lower legs and my knees. He also kicked and beat me. My buttocks got all bruised and I had cuts all over my body. It was so painful that I rolled over on the ground. -
Vicious Torture Methods Used by Police from Shaanxi Province
2006-08-09Several Falun Gong practitioners living in the countryside, who were the major breadwinners for their families, were sentenced to seven years in prison without any legal procedures. Before sending these Falun Gong practitioners to the Zhaozihe Forced Labour Camp, the police said that they would release them if they paid 40,000 yuan. How could these farmers have this kind of money when they even had difficulty making ends meet? They are still being detained and tortured in the forced labour camp.
