Cruel Tortures in the Women's Forced Labour Camp of Hohhot, Ms. Zhang Yuhua Suffers Mental Collapse

In the Women's Forced Labour Camp of Hohhot, guards force Falun Dafa practitioners to stand for several days, lock them in solitary confinement, forbid them from going to the toilet or washing or brushing their teeth, and deprive them of sleep. If these tortures do not change practitioners' minds, the guards coerce inmates to torture practitioners day and night. Inmates cuff practitioners' hands behind their backs and hang them up so that the tips of their feet barely touch the floor. This torture is named "riding an airplane." -
Ms. Zhang Xinyi from Hunan Province Unjustly Sentenced to Three Year Prison Term
2005-10-21It has been reported that after 51-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Xinyi was secretly tried on August 4th 2005, she was sentenced to three years in prison by the Tianxin District Court in Changsha City. The reasons for Ms. Zhang's sentence are as follows: she was caught on two occasions distributing leaflets exposing the persecution about Falun Gong and the police found leaflets at her home. Ms Zhang was sued for violating criminal law article 300 and the so-called "obstruction of criminal law." -
Authorities at Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp Brutally Persecute Ms. Ding Shumei from Hebei Province
2005-10-21On August 10th 2005, officers from the Xhanhua Police Department arrested Ms. Ding Shumei, a Falun Dafa practitioner. Without a warrant, they sent her directly to the Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp. Since Ms. Ding refused to cooperate after the arrest, they beat and tortured her with electric batons. To protest the persecution, Ms. Ding held a hunger strike. In return, the authorities brutally force-fed her. Currently Ms. Ding is in an extremely weak physical condition. We appeal to all kind-hearted people to pay attention to Ms. Ding's situation. -
Policeman Han Xinlei Murdered Due to Openly Withdrawing From the CCP
2005-10-20On September 9th 2005, policeman Han Xinlei of Xi'an City Police Department in Shaanxi Province was murdered because he openly declared that he was withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) by written declaration. Mr. Han Xinlei's parents and grandparents are all living under terror of the CCP right now. Mr. Han's family members are all working in the Police Department, but the CCP is not letting them live in peace. -
Four Practitioners from Shandong, Jilin, and Hebei Provinces Died After Suffering Persecution
2005-10-20Ms. Yan Guoping was around 45 years old. She was a librarian at Hebei Jingmao University. In May 2002 people from her work place and the police from the local police station "arrested" her and sent her to the notorious Hebei Province Legal System Education Centre to be brainwashed. Under pressure, she stopped cultivating Falun Gong and developed kidney cancer, which quickly spread. Even though she had given in to the brainwashing, people from the local police station and residents' committee still came to her home to harass and exert pressure on her while she was undergoing treatment. Ms. Yan Guoping died in the autumn of 2002. -
Four More Cases of Falun Dafa Practitioners Being Persecuted to Death in Guangdong, Liaoning, and Sichuan Provinces
2005-10-2058-year-old Mr. Gong Jinyin, 58, lived in Sichuan Province. In January 2001, Gong went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa. As a result, he was arrested and sentenced to two and a half years of forced labour without proper legal trials. On February 2nd 2001, the local police took Gong Jinyin to the Xinhua Forced Labour Camp, where he was brutally beaten. A prisoner repeatedly stabbed Gong's thigh with sharpened bamboo sticks, causing permanent damage to his leg. Despite the fact that these actions are illegal, the camp officer on duty simply turned a blind eye to the whole affair. In June 2002, Gong was released to go home, but he died on February 8th 2003 of poor health induced by torture he suffered while in detention. -
Father Confined In Brainwashing Centre After Over Three Years of Forced Labour, Daughter Forced to Quit School
2005-10-20Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Guoli lives in a village in Inner-Mongolia Autonomous Region. After being tortured for three and a half years in a forced labour camp and his body bears the scars. He is now locked in a brainwashing centre. His daughter had to quit school in 2002 when she was only 14 years old, despite the fact that her grades were excellent. -
The Persecution of Ms. Cheng Aiyang's Family in Shenzhen City
2005-10-19Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cheng Aiyang, 40 years old, is a kindhearted housewife, who started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1998. She attained a healthy body, and became a good person by following Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance. After the brutal persecution to Falun Gong started on July 20th 1999, she and her husband endured numerous hardships. They were both sentenced to forced labour just because they kept practising Falun Gong. The apartment allocated to them by her husband's workplace was taken away, her husband lost his job, and their daughter was forced to become homeless. -
More Details of the Death Case of Elderly Ms. Xiao Hongxiu
2005-10-19Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Hongxiu was 65 years old. On April 8th 2003, Ms. Xiao was secretly sentenced to six years in prison and confined in a women's prison. Ms. Xiao was mistreated for an extended period of time, including being forced to take unknown drugs, not being allowed to talk, and being forced to do heavy labour. Even when she was very weak due to torture, the prison guards still did not allow her to rest. They said she had to go to the labour site and just stand there if she was too weak to work. Ms. Xiao passed out many times. She died in prison on July 25th 2004. -
Qingdao Police Break into Ms. Cui Luning's Home and Ransack it (Photos)
2005-10-19On September 22nd, a group of policemen arrested the 33-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cui at her workplace.They then went to her home, ransacked it and removed many items of value. The police used Cui's mobile phone to send out short messages: "Cui in trouble. Please come to her home immediately. Details later." Their apparent intention was to lure other practitioners to come over and then arrest them. -
Recent Persecution of Practitioners by Dalian City Police
2005-10-19On the evening of October 9th 2005, Dalian City police stormed into people's homes and arrested five Falun Dafa practitioners. At around midnight, Ms. Man Chunrong's children woke up, and found that their mother had not returned home. They started looking for her, and learned from Ms. Liu Yuqin's husband, that they were all arrested. The two kids went to the police station and were locked outside the gate for more than two hours. Police ransacked these five practitioners' homes, did not find anything they wanted, but still refused to release them. -
Two Dafa Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Hegang City Since September 2005
2005-10-18According to reliable news sources, Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Zhicheng was persecuted to death. Detailed information is to be investigated. According to the news, this is the second Dafa practitioner to be persecuted to death since the local authorities started a round of arrests on September 7th 2005. Xu Zhicheng was around forty years old. Because he firmly practised Falun Dafa, he was sentenced to a labour camp for three years and suffered from tortures in the Hegang City Forced Labour Camp. At the end of September, Mr. Xu was again abducted from his home by the authorities. -
The 610 Office Disabled Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Zhe from Hebei Province through Brutal Beatings
2005-10-18In April and May 2001, the local 610 Office imprisoned Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Zhe and her husband Mr. Chen Xijian from Hebei Province. They subjected the couple to all kinds of torture and mistreatment. The police set up a torture room at this place, and violently beat Ms. Zhang. At first, they beat her feet, knees and shoulders. In the process, they broke several wooden clubs. Later, they soaked the clubs in water to prevent them from breaking. To this day, Ms. Zhang's legs and feet are still numb and without any feeling. Her left leg was left with a deep scar. This has prevented her from walking normally, or standing for more than a short while. Ms Zhang is permanently disabled. -
Ms. Zheng Xiuqing from Yanbian Tortured and Sent to Forced Labour Camp: Her First-hand Account
2005-10-18On August 31st 2005, when practitioner Ms. Zheng Xiuqin took her daughter to her middle school, she told the facts of Falun Dafa to the taxi driver. The taxi driver, He Yang, reported her to the police. She and her daughter were arrested by the police. The police tortured Ms. Zheng brutally and seriously injured her. Her daughter, who is not a practitioner, was also beaten cruelly. The police did not want to take responsibility for their injuries, so they ordered Ms. Zheng's family to take them home on September 3rd. -
Two Falun Dafa PractitionersUnjustly Sentenced to Prison in Laiwu City
2005-10-18Practitioners Mr. Wang Zideng and Mr. Pang Jihai were represented by a defence counsel in Laichen District Court, Laiwu City on February 1st 2005. The defence counsel argued that according to the law, Wang Zideng should be released. However, the amoral court determined on June 5th 2005, that Mr. Wang be sentenced to 7 years in prison and Pang Jihai to 6 years in prison for following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to improve themselves. The court verdicts were controlled by the Laiwu City 610 Officeband the Political Judicial Committee.
