Swedish Practitioners Write a Letter of Appeal to the Chinese Ambassador

"Currently, with the help of human rights lawyers and legal experts, Falun Gong practitioners in USA and Europe have sued Jiang Zemin and several top Chinese officials for crimes ranging from torture to genocide. In China Falun Gong practitioners have been met with illegal arrest and imprisonment – often resulting in them being tortured to death, abused in mental hospitals, and receiving long jail and labour camp sentences without trial." -

Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Produce a Programme for Local TV

The program outlined how 36 western practitioners appealed against the persecution of Falun Gong on Tiananmen Square. Practitioners hoped that this program could show Chinese people that Falun Gong is practised in many countries, contrary to the claims of Jiang’s state-controlled media mouthpieces. -
Sweden: Press Conference to Gather Support for the Trial of Jiang Zemin

Practitioners listed the crimes committed by Jiang Zemin, including abuse of power and embezzling national funds to persecute Falun Gong. They also let the public understand the meaning and importance of bringing Jiang to justice on the grounds of morality, conscience and law. One Swedish journalist stated, “We should not wait while facing this kind of persecution. We should take action immediately and tell the world’s people.” -
Germany: Clarifying the Facts at a Spiritual Health Fair in Hannover

All the practitioners in northern Germany came to enthusiastically support us. We demonstrated the exercises and talked to people who visited our booth about Falun Dafa. Through these activities, many people came to understand more about the magnificence of Falun Gong, and also about the Jiang regime’s persecution of 100 million innocent practitioners in China. -
Scotland: Zhang Cuiying’s Exhibition in Glasgow is a Huge Success

The organiser congratulated the practitioners on how well they had arranged the event. She enjoyed the Falun Gong exercises very much and commented “I need this. It is so relaxed!” The organiser told us that we could leave Falun Gong materials and a petition on a table in the exhibition room. “You can come whenever you want to sit at the table and tell visitors about Falun Gong.” -
Sweden: The “Lotus Flower” Performance Visits Lerum

This performance was the first in a 21-day tour of Sweden. “Lotus Flower” is performed on a non-profit basis by two Swedish practitioners and was created to support an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Music, dance and dialogue arranged in a simple manner, create a very beautiful and touching true story about the suffering of practitioners in China. -
Norway: “Falun Gong” Printed in Norwegian

During the book launch, practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and practised the fifth exercise, the sitting meditation. This created a very peaceful atmosphere. The audience listened with great attention and asked many questions during and after the event. -
Sweden: Supporting the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin

Falun Gong practitioners from Stockholm gathered at the Chinese Embassy to send forth righteous thoughts and hand out flyers that revealed the facts about the persecution. This appeal was part of the worldwide effort by Dafa practitioners to further expose the crimes that Jiang’s regime has committed against Falun Gong practitioners. -

A new flyer was given out, detailing the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin for genocide and crimes against humanity and the Jiang regime’s risking of countless lives in an attempt to cover up the SARS epidemic. As usual, practitioners combined clarifying the facts of the persecution with exercise demonstrations in public. -
Letter from Denmark Falun Gong Association Calling for the Release of Pirjo Svensson
2003-05-12"The Swedish Embassy in Bangkok has been requesting an explanation from the Thai authorities but as of yet no reply has been given. The arbitrary and groundless arrest of Mrs. Svensson by the Thai authorities, as well as the Thai Authorities’ lack of openness and willingness to come forth in this case, is sending out a disturbing message about the true motives and intentions behind the arrest." -
Sweden: Practitioners Perform the “Lotus Flower” Dance at a School

“Lotus Flower” is a performance, which uses dance, music and poetry to reveal the truth about Falun Gong and the Jiang regime’s brutal persecution of over 70 million practitioners. After three performances, Swedish practitioners were invited into each class to tell the students more about Falun Gong and the situation in China. -
UK: Promoting Falun Dafa at a Junior School
2003-05-11Through talking about artist and Dafa practitioner Zhang Cuiying, who suffered eight months of torture in Chinese forced labour camps because she peacefully appealed for the human rights of persecuted practitioners, she let the students learn about Falun Gong and the appalling human rights situation for millions of women in China who want to improve their health through this peaceful practice. -
