Greece: The Global Human Rights Torch Relay will be Launched in Athens
2007-08-09It is expected that within a year’s time of the launch of the relay, the route of the human rights torch will cover more than a hundred cities in dozens of countries on five continents. The CIPFG hopes to raise the international community’s concern over the CCP’s human rights violations in China with the help of the human rights torch relay and to stop shame being brought to the Olympic Games. -

2007-08-08The parade included banners, music, waist-drummers dressed in gold, and many female practitioners dressed in white holding photos of those killed in the persecution. The tail of the parade included a float and banners exposing the atrocities committed by the CCP and highlighting the harvesting of organs from prisoners of conscience. -

2007-08-08On Saturday July 21st 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Stuttgart held an information day on the streets to tell people about the eight years of persecution against Falun Gong in China. They also helped people learn about the atrocities of organs being harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese detention facilities and the fact that over 24 million people have withdrawn from the CCP. -

2007-08-07On July 21st, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners organised an event at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Practitioners were kept busy chatting to people throughout the day. The persecution began on July 20th 1999 and Falun Gong was officially banned in China on July 22nd, 1999. -
Austria: The International 'Zhen, Shan, Ren Art Exhibition' held in Graz
2007-08-06On the evening of July 5th, 2007 an international art exhibition entitled “Zhen, Shan, Ren” officially opened in Graz, the capital of Steiermark province. The “Ars Cara” arts and culture club put on the exhibition - their motto is “Arts for Human Rights”. Ars Cara had great success showing the same exhibition last year throughout Austria. It was supported and recognised by many people.
