  • Germany: Protesting the Persecution of Falun Gong in Front of the Chinese Consulate

    On July 20th, 2006, seven years after the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution against Falun Gong began, practitioners from Bavaria gathered in front of the Chinese consulate in Munich to protest the inhuman crimes committed by the CCP, in particular the trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners.

  • Germany: Informing Football Fans About Falun Gong and the Persecution

    Falun Gong practitioners in Frankfurt organised an activity to inform the public about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, in particular the forced removal of organs and torture. While some practitioners reenacted forced organ removal and torture in front of the grand old opera building in Frankfurt, others collected signatures from passersby.
  • Sweden: Peaceful Appeal Outside the Chinese Consulate General in Gothenburg

    Falun Gong practitioners and practitioners from other parts of Sweden held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate General in Gothenburg. The Consul General Cui Jianchao had a farewell party, which meant that there were many visitors who came to the Consulate General, both Chinese and Swedish. Staff from the Consulate came out to take pictures.
  • Czech Republic: Support for Falun Gong in Five Cities

    Between July 10th and 14th, several Falun Gong practitioners traveled around the towns and cities of Kroměříž, Zlín, Přerov, Olomouc and Vsetín. Their goal was to inform local communities of the discriminatory practices of the Chinese communist government, which at present illegaly detains two million Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese prisons.
  • De Standaard (Belgium): China performs organ harvesting on live prisoners

    "Falun Gong practitioners are not only ruthlessly persecuted in China. According to an international investigation, they are also forcefully taken as stock for organ transplant, and are being killed for this purpose. Last week the Canadian David Kilgour, former public prosecutor, State Secretary and Member of Parliament, introduced a report in Brussels. He led his investigation together with attorney David Matas, a famous advocate for human rights and defender of torture victims."

    On July 20th, 2006, Italian Falun Gong practitioners organised activities in all parts of Italy to mourn their fellow practitioners in China who had been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party to death and also to protest against the brutal persecution of Falun Gong launched on July the 20th 1999.
  • Belgium: The CCP is Accused of Harvesting Organs for Sale

    Former Canadian Congressman David Kilgour has collected much evidence, especially the confession from the ex-wife of a doctor involved in organ harvesting operations, which has alleged that over two thousand Falun Gong practitioners’ organs have been plundered. David Kilgour said, “They killed thousands of people for this trade. This practice is a crime against humanity. Even in the Nazi’s time, we did not see any crime as cruel as this crime against innocent Chinese citizens.”
  • Czech Republic: Falun Gong in Svitavy

    On Friday July 14th, Falun Gong practitioners arrived in the town of Svitavy. Their banners, displayed inside an ancient archway, drew the attention of those who were passing by. That way, people of Svitavy could find out about the ancient meditation practice of Falun Gong and its ongoing persecution in China. Those who wished to protest against the persecution were encouraged to sign a petition. Other people were given leaflets with information on secret Chinese concentration camps where many Falun Gong practitioners have had their organs removed while they were still alive.
  • Czech Republic: Czech Media Reports on Practitioners' Appeal for an End to the Persecution

    Falun Gong practitioners in the Czech Republic presented an open letter to the Chinese Ambassador to call on the Chinese Communist regime to put an end to the genocide against innocent citizens. In the evening, a candle-light vigil was held in condolence of their fellow practitioners being persecuted to death in mainland China.
  • Serbia: Practitioners from Serbia and Bulgaria Introduce Falun Dafa to the People of Belgrade

    Thousands of flyers and other information about the essence of Falun Gong, about the persecution in China and the continuing repression by the Communist regime against the practice, were given by Serbian and Bulgarian practitioners in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade. The event was held in front of the National Museum.
  • Germany: Vigil at the Chinese Embassy in Berlin

    Falun Gong practitioners held a day long vigil to mark seven years since the start of the persecution of Falun Gong at the Chinese Embassy on Jannowitz Bridge, Berlin. Many people passing by accepted flyers with information about the organ removals from live Falun Gong practitioners in China and signed a petition to support Falun Gong.
  • Finnish Newspaper Hufvudstadsbladet: "A new kind of evil on this Earth”

    Matas and Kilgour wrote in this report: “According to what we have found out so far, we come to the tragic conclusions that the allegations are true. We believe there is organ harvesting on a large scale and that huge numbers of Falun Gong practitioners have had their organs removed without their consent.” During a press conference on July 6th in Ottawa, while announcing the publication of his report, David Matas said: “This is a new kind of evil that has never been seen on this Earth.”
  • United Kingdom: "We cannot allow such things to continue"

    Former Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) for Canada and senior MP, David Kilgour, was invited by Lord Thurlow, former UK diplomat, to hold a seminar in the Houses of Parliament on July 17th regarding the CCP’s trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs. The UK MPs who attended the seminar appealed to the UK government to take measures to stop the CCP’s atrocities. Mr. Kilgour introduced the attendees to the report he wrote in Canada, and answered questions raised by the MPs and media.
