  • Germany: Experience Sharing Conference in Erbach

    During the New Year holiday, German Falun Gong practitioners gathered together in Erbach. They had group study and exercises, and held the 2005 Experience Sharing Conference. After the conference, practitioners said they found their shortcomings from others’ speeches and felt clearer about problems they could not understand for a long time.
  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in New Year's Day Parade in London

    The New Year's Day Parade London is held on January 1st every year and it has been going for twenty years now. Over ten thousand performers from around the world participated and among them was a Falun Gong group. It was estimated that about 450,000 people came to watch.
  • Germany: Practitioners in Berlin Demonstrate Outside the Thai Embassy

    Falun Gong practitioners in Berlin have demonstrated outside the Thai Embassy since December 28th 2005. They are calling for the immediate release of the illegally detained practitioners in Thailand and hope through their actions, to encourage Thailand not to cave in to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and allow the export of the persecution.
  • Finnish Newspaper 'Kaleva': Chinese Embassy Interferes with Falun Gong Photo Exhibition

    Finnish newspaper ‘Kaleva’ wrote on September 17th that the Chinese Embassy had interfered with a photo exhibition arranged by Falun Gong practitioners in the city of Rovaniemi. According to the newspaper, the Chinese Embassy had contacted the library where the exhibition “Peaceful Journey of Falun Gong” was held. The photo exhibition introduces Falun Gong and its history. It also exposes the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party against the practitioners of Falun Gong in China.
  • Sweden: Practitioners from Sweden, Finland and Norway Gather in Gothenburg to Share Cultivation Experiences and Celebrate the New Year

    Between December 29th 2005 and January 1st 2006, practitioners from Sweden, Finland and Norway gathered in Sweden’s second largest city, Gothenburg, where Master Li spread Falun Gong in Sweden for the first time ten years ago, to study, share cultivation experiences and celebrate the New Year.

    Some people at the fair had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, but many knew nothing about it. An important reason for us to attend the health fair was to expose the persecution in China. The more people that get to know the truth about the persecution, the sooner it will end. That is why practitioners are trying to expose the persecution.
  • Radio Free Asia: A Falun Gong Practitioner Condemns the Cruel Persecution by the CCP Using his Personal Experience

    Heping Li from Zejiang Province of China recalled how he was locked up in a forced labour camp because he refused to renounce his belief in Falun Gong. He saw with his own eyes and experienced the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP authorities. Heping Li said, “I was released in 2003 and put under detention for two years. As I practice Falun Gong, I used to write letters to the government (the CCP regime) and told friends of mine the truth about Falun Gong and the lies told on TV. For that reason, I was taken to a forced labour camp.
  • Italy: Falun Gong Practitioners call on the Thai Government to Resist the CCP's Export of the Persecution Overseas

    On New Year’s Day 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Rome headed for the Thai Embassy to protest and submit an open letter to call on the Thai government to boycott the CCP’s exportation of the persecution and to insist on justice in the hope that a bright future would be chosen by the Thai government.
  • Holland: People of Amsterdam Impressed by the International Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition

    The International Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition, sponsored by the Dutch Falun Gong Association, was held in city hall Amsterdam from November 2nd to November 15th, 2005. The spirit of Falun Gong practitioners' perseverance in the face of inhuman persecution by the Chinese Communist regime made an unforgettable impression upon the government officials, city hall staff members and the general public who visited the exhibition.
  • Finland: Introducing Falun Gong at a Fair in Jyväskylä

    At Jyväskylä Country Fair on September 17th, practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises to traditional-style Chinese music, which attracted a great deal of attention. Some people knew already a little about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, but they wanted to learn more about how and why this is still continuing.
  • Italy: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Florence during the Christmas Holidays

    Many tourists from various countries accepted leaflets. After hearing the facts about Falun Gong, they came to sign the petition one after another to show their support for Falun Dafa and the persecuted practitioners. People were outraged by the fact that such a peaceful cultivation practice is oppressed by the Chinese dictatorial regime.
  • Iceland Review: Refusal of Falun Gong [practitioners] deemed unlawful

    Representatives of the Falun Gong movement welcomed the decision, and requested that the government pay compensation to those banned from entering Iceland, as well as handing over the list of undesirable people so it could be destroyed. They said that the government had attempted to stifle the voice of justice and bow to the wishes of a foreign dictator. They had gone against the wishes of the Icelandic people and had set a dangerous precedent to other democratic countries in their actions against Falun Gong.
  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners held a New Year’s Eve Parade in Central London

    The parade underpinned the profoundness of traditional Chinese culture while exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s six years’ of brutal persecution against Falun Gong. Wherever the parade went, people stopped to watch the exercise demonstrations, read leaflets and find out more about both Falun Gong practice and the persecution.
  • German Practitioner Calls on the Thai Authorities Not to Continue Bowing to CCP Pressure

    The letter pointed out that the reason for Falun Gong practitioners to stage a protest at the Chinese Embassy was that a Chinese policeman in Hebei province raped two female Falun Gong practitioners in front of his co-workers. However, something unbelievable happened in Thailand on December the 6th and the 15th, that is, under official instruction from the Chinese Embassy, the Thai police and plainclothes agents forcibly ransacked Falun Gong practitioners’ bags, arrested them and confiscated their banners, resulting in physical injuries to practitioners and damage top their possessions.
