  • Finland: Falun Gong Photo Exhibition Tours Lapland (Part 4)

    In spring 2005, we contacted several libraries in Lapland and made enquiries about holding a Falun Gong photo exhibition. Most people knew about Falun Gong already and even those who didn’t were interested to hold the exhibition and find out more. Because of the great interest we continued to hold the photo exhibition in late autumn.
  • Germany: Berlin Residents Wish for an Immediate End to the Persecution Against Falun Gong

    Berlin Falun Gong practitioners erected an information booth at the Breitscheidplatz. The information booth was used to help more people learn about Falun Gong and the six years of persecution that practitioners have endured. Practitioners had the opportunity to have many good discussions with people of all ages who wanted to hear more about Falun Gong.
  • Ukraine: Parade to Condemn the Crimes Committed by Communist Regimes

    Enduring temperatures of less than minus 20 degrees, the Kremenchuk citizens held a parade supporting the Council of Europe’s ‘Draft Resolution to Condemn the Communist Party’s Crimes’. The parade also highlighted how over seven million people, the bulk of who are from China, have withdrawn from the Communist Party and its affiliated organisations.
  • EFGIC: London Falun Gong Practitioner Assaulted by Chinese Embassy Partygoer

    LONDON (EFGIC) A female Chinese Falun Gong practitioner was punched in the head by a Chinese man while she sat in meditation at the 24 hour ongoing Falun Gong protest opposite the Chinese Embassy in Portland Place W1 around 9 pm of 24th January. Speaking to reporters, Ms Gao Yudong said: “the bruise on the side of my head caused by the blow felt very hot. By the next morning I started to feel pain, and I could feel a swelling on my head. During the day at work, my head felt painful and numb. I had difficulties concentrating.”
  • United Kingdom: Protest Against the CCP’s Torture Song Show

    UK practitioner Li Heping was a victim of “The Same Song”. In 2001, Li was illegally sent to a labour camp where the police would play “The Same Song” when he was tortured. To this day, upon hearing “The Same Song”, he relives painful experiences along with the mental anguish that is associated with the brainwashing music.
  • The Epoch Times: Council of Europe Parliament Condemns Human Rights Violations by Communist Regimes

    LONDON—The Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) condemned on Wednesday the human rights violations committed by totalitarian communist regimes and expressed sympathy, understanding and recognition for the victims of these crimes. The Assembly passed a resolution, which censured violations such as executions, deaths in concentration camps, torture, slave labour, and starvation committed by communist regimes..."Totalitarian communist regimes are still active in some countries of the world and crimes continue to be committed," the resolution said. "The Assembly strongly condemns all those violations of human rights."
  • Germany: Our Hearts were Connected at that Moment

    She said she used to live in Manchuria in her childhood. World War II made her an orphan. After the war, she stayed in Manchuria for a period of time before returning to Japan. Because of the lapse of time she had almost forgotten Chinese completely. I pondered how to take advantage of this precious opportunity to tell her the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong in China. Without any Japanese or English leaflets to hand, all that I could resort to was using simple dialogue and writing on paper, hoping that she could understand.
  • Ukraine: Painting Exhibition in a Small Farming Village

    Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners held a painting exhibition in a small farming village from January 20th to the 22nd. They introduced to the villagers the rapid spread of Falun Gong throughout the world and the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese communist regime in China. Paintings by practitioners were on display in the exhibition.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal for Support to Rescue Jiang Renzheng

    Though it was freezing cold on January 14th 2006, in order to expose the evil persecution of Falun Gong taking place in China, practitioners set up a table with leaflets and other materials in the southern city of Speyer. The persecution of Falun Gong, initiated by the Chinese Communist regime, began on July 20th 1999 and has lasted for six and a half years.
  • Russia: Practitioners from Northern Russia hold a Mini Experience Sharing Conference

    On New Year’s Eve a small conference in which practitioners studied the principles of Falun Dafa together and shared cultivation experiences was successfully held in northern Russia. Falun Gong practitioners from Kandalaksha City and Arkhangelsk State got together and exchanged their understandings and experiences of cultivation.
  • Germany: Collecting Signatures for the Rescue of Renzheng Jiang

    Mr Renzheng Jiang, his wife and two small children were deported to the Peoples Republic of China on March 7th 2005, because the German authorities did not believe that Falun Gong practitioners were in any danger in China. Barely a month after returning to China, Jiang was sentenced to three years in a slave labour camp located in Benxi City.   • The European Coming for You Choir Arrives in Manhattan

    In recent days, members of the European “Coming for You” choir have been filing into Manhattan to take part in NTDTV’s 2006 Chinese New Year Gala held in New York. They came to give three performances at Radio City Music Hall on the 20th and the 21st of January. Western Falun Gong practitioners form the majority of the choir.
  • Germany: A Chinese Couple Warmly Shook his Hands

He told them what kind of people Falun Gong practitioners are, how the Communist dictatorship persecutes practitioners for believing in Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance, why Falun Gong practitioners tell people the truth and all about the so-called "self-immolation in Tiananmen Square" directed by the CCP. The truth of Falun Gong was revealed. Finally, they shook him warmly by the hand and wished Falun Gong practitioners good luck and success."
  • Switzerland: Anti-Torture Exhibition held in Wintry Weather

    On the first weekend after the New Year a cold front swept through Switzerland. Despite the severe cold, many Swiss Falun Gong practitioners left their warm homes and gathered at Winterhur to hold an anti-torture exhibition. They intended to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese communist regime.
  • Germany: Support for Falun Gong from the CDU Party

    "The CDU is well aware of the predicament of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The Committee for Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid of the CDU/CSU Party in parliament, which is directed by Hermann Gröhe, is in constant contact with Falun Gong practitioners. In addition to Hermann Gröhe, many other CDU politicians have continued to specifically mention the human rights violations that are still being perpetrated against Falun Gong practitioners in China within the Committee for Human Rights and Human Aid of the German Parliament. The CDU has a continued commitment to uphold human rights."
