2005-09-20On Saturday, September 10th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners attended family recreation activities in Trier, Germany, hoping to introduce local people to Falun Gong and let them know about efforts to rescue the orphans of persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in China. Children gathered at the Falun Gong information booth to learn how to fold Lotus Flowers. -

Finnish Newspaper Reports on how Falun Gong Brings Warmth and Peace of Mind

Ten people attended the introduction class and almost everyone asked for an introduction video and a book to understand more deeply about Falun Gong. Germany: Falun Gong Is Warmly Welcomed at Hamburg Multi-Culture Festival
2005-09-18After winning awards in 2003 and 2004, Falun Gong was again the focus of the 2005 Hamburg Multi-Culture Festival held on September 10th. Led by bands, floats and splendid dancing groups, more than eighty civil organisations participated in the parade. The float and the Lotus Dance given by Falun Gong practitioners attracted loud applause from the crowds. -

2005-09-18Many Chinese tourists accepted our fliers and they read them with intense interest. Some asked, “Why did Falun Gong practitioners besiege Zhongnanhai?” and “Why did they set themselves on fire?” After learning that those reports were all lies concocted by the Communist Party to frame and incite hatred towards practitioners for their own ulterior motives, they said, “We understand completely now, it was all mere propaganda.” Some even became interested in learning Falun Gong. -

Many people noticed the girl from far away and approached her asking, "What good things are you distributing today?" Most people solemnly received the flyers when they heard that it was about human rights issues in China. -
United Kingdom: Introducing Falun Gong at Birmingham Art Festival

2005-09-14On the first Sunday of September every year, Sachsen Day is celebrated in different cities in a grand manner, in which the number of participants may be as many as several thousand people. Denmark: Anti-torture Exhibition Held During a Meeting of International Prosecutors
2005-09-13The Meeting of International Prosecutors was held in the capital of Denmark from August 29th to September 1st, 2005. The focus was on human rights and the position of witnesses and victims in legal proceedings. Prosecutors from more than 80 countries attended the meeting, including Jia Qunwang, chief prosecutor of China's highest procurator’s office.
