Holland: Exhibition of Photographs Helps People Learn about the Persecution of Falun Dafa
2005-09-30On September 24th, Falun Gong practitioners from Holland held an anti-torture photo exhibition and collected petition signatures calling for the chief instigator of the persecution of Falun Gong, Jiang Zemin, to be brought to justice. Many passers by expressed their shock at the extreme cruelty of the persecution and signed the petition one after another.

United Kingdom: British Major at Edinburgh Art Exhibition Reveals Interference by Chinese Consulate in Scotland

Norway: Anti-Torture Exhibition Receives Great Support in Stavanger
2005-09-28On the second Saturday in September, Falun Gong practitioners in Norway arranged an Anti-Torture Exhibition in Stavanger to make people aware of the brutal persecution against Falun Gong, which has lasted six years. Today, it is confirmed that 2,781 practitioners, both old and young, have been tortured to death at the hands of the Chinese authorities.

Germany: The Hamme Festival Becomes a Showcase for Falun Gong and the Situation in China

Finland: Falun Gong Photo Exhibition Tours Lapland (Part 3)

The Danish Newspaper Berlingske Tidende Reports on the "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party"

It is a way to access public resources,” commented Nis Hoyrup Christensen of The Nordic Institute of Asian Studies (NIAS). “It is also a manifestation that this person is part of the system, not a potential threat.” However, not all of the Chinese people support the CCP. According to a report in the Epoch Times, a medium that holds an aggressive critical position against the CCP, the overall situation has been totally different.

United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Participate in the Cowley Festival in Oxford
2005-09-26From the 10th of September, the week-long annual Cowley Festival was held in Oxford, UK. On the 17th, Falun Gong practitioners from Oxford and neighbouring cities participated in the Cowley Festival by invitation from the organising committee. During a Session of the European Parliament, A Councillor Appeals to the Chinese Communist Party to Release Yang Feng, a Falun Gong Practitioner
2005-09-25On September 8th, there was a forum on the Chinese Communist Party's record against human rights and freedom of speech during a session of the European Parliament. Mr John Bowis, an MEP from London made a brief speech appealing to the CCP to stop its violation of Human Rights. In his speech, he also mentioned Yang Feng, a former UK Falun Gong practitioner who is locked up by the CCP.

Sweden: Promoting Falun Gong at a Museum in Udevalla
2005-09-25On Saturday September 3rd, the Adult Educational Association held open house at Bohuslans Museum in Udevalla to showcase the different courses and study circles that are included in their programme. Falun Gong was also included in their programme. Practitioners were just outside the entrance, a great spot to be seen by all the visitors as they demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises to music. They distributed pamphlets and people who wanted to sign the petition against the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China did so solemnly and sincerely.
