  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners at Dresden City Festival

    On August 20th and 21st, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners were again invited to participate in the Dresden City Festival. During the two days, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises; some distributed leaflets to passers-by; and others gave away hand-made paper Lotus Flowers. Lots of people stopped to watch and chat.
  • Germany: First Falun Gong Anti-Torture Exhibition Held in Frankfurt

    “It is time to give people a wake-up call!” This a remark a visitor wrote in the guest-book during Frankfurt's first outdoor anti-torture exhibition, held in Römerberg Square. The author called the attention-grabbing exhibition run by the Frankfurt-based Falun Gong group a very meaningful action and encouraged them to publicise the persecution in China.
  • Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Attend an Exhibition in Tornio

    Practitioners in Finland took part in an exhibition in Tornio, a city in the north of Finland on the border with Sweden. There were around 170 exhibitors, and Falun Gong was invited to be one of them. At our booth people could learn that Falun Gong is about the ongoing persecution in China and we had a petition where people could sign their names.

    "Based on China’s high-ranking officials who have defected, the facts of the persecution detailed by Falun Gong practitioners in the past few years are undeniable. The Chinese defectors further exposed the persecution inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners inside and outside of China. The day when the Communist regime will dissolve is coming. The evil doers who committed crimes against good people will be punished. Good is met with good and evil with evil. Here I am telling you: Falun Gong is good."
  • State TV-channel DR (Denmark): Falun Gong Practitioners' Lawsuit Filed Against Jia Chunwang

    The Procurator General of the Chinese communist regime, head of the 610 Office, Jia Chunwang is being sued in Denmark for committing crimes of torture. The lawsuit brought broad attention from media. Major newspapers, radio stations and television media reported it in a timely manner. Denmark State TV-channel DR also ran a report on this lawsuit.   • United Kingdom: Invitation to Introduce “Rescue the Falun Gong Orphans” In a Summer Camp in Huddersfield

    After watching the video “Rescue Falun Gong Orphans”, youngsters in the summer camp couldn’t help crying. Deeply moved, the principal said: “I cry every time I see the video, I am going to copy your petition and give them to every pupil and his or her parents, and ask them to help rescue these innocent children together.”
  • Article from Danish Newspaper Politiken: Lawsuit to be Filed Against Chinese Procurator General

    Spokesperson Marco Hsu from the Danish Falun Gong Association says, that he will file a complaint against Jia Chunwang to the State Prosecutor for Special International Crime-cases. Chunwang has, according to Falun Gong, among other things been a leader of a special office which has lead the Chinese government’s campaign against the movement since 1999. ”Since Jia Chunwang has been minister of public security and one of the leaders of the special office, he has had influence on what all the sub-departments of that office have done of persecution and torture”, says Marco Hsu.
  • Russia: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution in Pskov City

    A woman said, “I dreamt that I wore a Lotus Flower on my head last night. Today I finally know the Lotus Flower I dreamt of is here.” The policeman who was on duty had an alert and indifferent expression when the activity started, but at the end, he smiled to us and said that he understood that Falun Gong was a very good cultivation practice.
  • Article in Deutsche Presse-Agentur: Jiang Renzheng Imprisoned in a Chinese Labour Camp.

    Jiang Renzheng, twenty nine years old, is being persecuted. On March 7th, Mr. Jiang, his wife and their two children were deported from the Bavarian State Germany to China because they were not granted asylum. Shortly after his arrival in China, the staff from the State Security Bureau accosted him. One month later he was sent to a labour camp. Mr. Jiang is a Falun Gong practitioner, while at present the Falun Gong movement is being persecuted in China.
  • Sweden: Paper Lotus Flowers Convey the Message of the Suffering of Falun Gong Practitioners' Children

    It was the start of the Swedish Malmo Festival on August 21st 2005. Many tourists went to the National Park to watch different activities. On the lawn of the northeastern part of the park, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the practice's exercises, waist-drumming performances, dancing, exhibitions and folded paper Lotus Flowers.

    'This Monday at nine o’clock, Xiaotian Liu stood watch between two banners in front of Hotel Scandic in Copenhagen, where prosecutors from 80 countries are gathered for three days to discuss witnesses' and victims' judicial position in Criminal case. Among the guest speakers is the Chinese Procurator General Jia Chunwang, whom three Falun Gong practitioners, one of them being Xiaotian Liu, filed a torture complaint against to the police on Sunday. He is guilty of this, because Chunwang, according to Falun Gong, has among other things been leader of a special office which has lead the Chinese Government’s campaign against Falun Gong since 1999.'
  • Russia: An Elderly Russian Exclaims "How Similar!"

    Practitioners from Moscow went to the city centre, to let people know about the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, calling for the citizens of Moscow to help stop this inhumane persecution. After learning about the situation, people signed the anti-persecution petitions.
  • United Kingdom: 2005 UK Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held in Oxford

    The 2005 UK Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was successfully held in Oxford on August 28th 2005. Through sharing at conferences like this one, practitioners learn from each other how to do better cultivating themselves; it is very helpful for the progress of the group as a whole and also very effective in letting local people learn about Falun Gong.
  • Press Release: Falun Gong Practitioners in Denmark File a Lawsuit Against China’s Procurator General for Crimes Committed Against the UN Convention Against Torture

    Falun Gong practitioners in Denmark have filed a lawsuit against Mr. Jia Chunwang, one of the central figures in China’s Gestapo – the ”610 Office” – for torture, with the purpose of initiating court proceedings in Denmark against Mr. Jia Chunwang, as Denmark is compelled to according to the UN Convention Against Torture 7(1). As one of the central figures in the ”610-office”, which was specifically established in 1999 to comply with and coordinate the Communist-regime’s demand that Falun Gong practitioners be destroyed both physically and psychologically, Mr. Jia Chunwang bears direct responsibility for the horrible crimes that have been committed during the illegal persecution of Falun Gong.
  • United Kingdom: Rescuing the Orphans on London's Trafalgar Square

    The usual influx of tourists and Londoners to Trafalgar Square was greeted with something special on bank holiday Monday. Falun Gong practitioners were showcasing traditional Chinese dancing, music and culture as they appealed for children suffering in China. The focus of the event in Trafalgar Square was part of a global effort to raise awareness of the plight of these children, who have not only lost their parents and other loved ones, but often go without many basic needs.
