European Friends of Falun Gong Submits a List of Chinese Communist Party Criminals to the UK Home Office

European Friends of Falun Gong points out in the letter to the Home Office that the members of EFOFG are not Falun Gong practitioners; they are supporters of Falun Gong practitioners’ freedom of belief and basic human rights. In the last 6 six years, the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has violated the International Human Rights Convention which China has signed. The CCP has also gone against the rules of nature in its widespread destruction of the lives of so many innocent people and the CCP’s crimes are crimes against humanity. -

2005-06-04The six-day Berlin Gymnastics Festival, which has just been held in the capital of Germany with 120,000 participants, has a history of one hundred and forty-five years. Its goal is to improve the physical and mental health of children and adults. Four German words represent its motto: originality, piety, happiness, and freedom. Under the principle of this motto, the Berlin Gymnastics Festival invited Falun Gong practitioners in Germany to participate in the performance. -
A Dutch Practitioner’s Experience of Being kidnapped in China

They asked me many questions. I did not mind telling them my good experiences of practising Falun Gong. I told them all about it. But when they asked me specific things like the names of people, certain events or things I felt that could harm other people, I was not willing to tell them. They were not satisfied with my answers and they told me that I was not cooperating well. -

Practitioners presented the book Zhuan Falun to the public at the biggest book forum in Bulgaria – Book Fair 2005. The main text of Falun Gong was published for the first time in Bulgarian language on the 13th of May, World Falun Dafa Day. During the presentation, the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. -

After hearing the truth of the persecution and the purpose of our activity, the police said, "The crime of genocide should never happen in the 21st Century. You can continue your activity, although you should normally apply for a permit in advance to hold such an activity. Your situation is really special.” After finding out more about the persecution, they also signed their names on the petition. -
Dutch Falun Gong Practitioner Kidnapped in China
2005-06-01Peter Valk, a 28-year-old Dutch man from Woerden, was kidnapped from his hotel room by 15 Chinese secret agents in the night of the 24th to the 25th of May. He was forced into a car with his head between his knees under a blanket and taken to the local ‘6-10 Office’. After two and a half days of detention, he was put on a plane to Thailand on the 28th of May and told he is prohibited from entering China for the next five years. The only reason for his arrest is that Peter practises Falun Gong, a meditation practice for mind and body. -

Norway: Paper Lotus Flowers Brought the Beauty of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance to Norway’s National Day

In contrast to many other nations, Norwegians celebrate National Day with a children’s parade instead of a military parade. Many children received the lotus flowers with surprised and happy expressions; some asked to get one extra to give to their sister, brother or friend. Many people, old and young, asked for and received a lotus flower. -
Germany: Anti-torture Exhibition and Information Day in Darmstadt

The exhibition included paintings from Falun Gong practitioners, many of whom have suffered persecution first-hand. People were drawn to the caged practitioner, re-enacting a torture scene that is used in cruel attempts to force practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs. They stopped to learn more about Falun Gong and the human rights abuses perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party. -
Amnesty International's Annual Report Criticises the Continuous Persecution of Falun Gong in China
2005-05-30"The Falun Gong spiritual movement remained a key target of repression, which reportedly included many arbitrary detentions. Most of those detained were assigned to periods of "re-education through Labour" without charge or trial, during which they were at high risk of torture or ill-treatment, particularly if they refused to renounce their beliefs. Others were held in prisons and psychiatric hospitals. According to overseas Falun Gong sources, more than 1,000 people detained in connection with the Falun Gong had died since the organisation was banned in 1999, mostly as a result of torture or ill-treatment." -

From May the 20th to the 23rd 2005, the third Ukraine Falun Gong cultivation experience sharing conference was successfully held in Ukraine’s capital city, Kiev. The conference was attended by Falun Gong practitioners from Ukraine, Russia, Byelorussia, Latvia, Israel, Germany and Sweden. -

Interview with a German Newspaper about Falun Gong Appeals and Cultivation
2005-05-29Because of its popularity in China and the exercises were practised by many people in the parks, the Chinese Ministry of Health surveyed it and found that at that time this practice was the most beneficial qigong practice in China. Gong is actually called cultivation energy. It affects positively the cultivation of one’s body. One also lives by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. The exercises are useless if one does not cultivate one’s heart at the same time.
