Germany: Practitioners in Munich Expose the Jiang Group's Crimes on the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture
2004-07-04On International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, practitioners from Munich held a picture exhibition in Karlsplatz Square, a renowned tourist area, to expose the horrific torture carried out by the Jiang group in its persecution of Falun Gong. Many passers-by were shocked by the brutality of the persecution and signed our petition to ‘Bring Jiang Zemin to justice.’ -

2004-07-03On March 31st 2004, French senator Bernard Joly wrote a letter to the newly-appointed Minister of Internal Affairs Mr Dominique De Villepin about the mistreatment of Falun Gong practitioners by French policemen during the period of the Chinese chairman Hu Jintao’s visit on January the 26th 2004. In his response, Mr De Villepin promises to carry out a special investigation into the case. -

2004-07-03On Wednesday 1st July, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference outside South Africa House to tell people about the shooting of a fellow Falun Gong practitioner by Chinese criminals in South Africa on Monday. They handed in a letter to the South Africa High Commission asking for an investigation to be carried out into the shooting, which occurred as two senior Chinese Ministers, both with lawsuits against them for the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, visited Pretoria to meet with South African officials. -
