• Scotland: Clarifying the Facts about the Persecution of Falun Gong to 7,500 People at a Concert in Glasgow

  Three practitioners stood in front of the table handing out leaflets and collecting signatures while one sat behind and talked with people. Many people offered their support, some stopping for in-depth conversations, and a lot had already seen the article in The Metro, which had also been posted on the table for people to read. There was no mistaking the righteous and benevolent energy field that continued to attract passers-by to sign the petition, even when no one was manning the stall.

The practitioners held a public trial of Jiang to let the world know the extent of his vicious deeds and to show that it is impossible for this dictator to escape from justice.

• Spain: Dafa Practitioners Invited to Promote Falun Gong in Salamanca City

  On November the 30th, 2003, some Dafa practitioners in Madrid, together with Dai Zhizhen and her daughter were specially invited to Salamanca City to be interviewed by local reporters. During their visit, practitioners also spread Dafa to local people and clarified the facts to them. In the afternoon, reporters of the biggest local newspaper in Salamanca City, "Salamanca Tribune" (La Gaceta de Salamanca) came to the park to interview some practitioners, and conducted an exclusive interview with Ms. Dai Zhizhen, a practitioner from Australia whose husband was tortured to death and immediately cremated by the Jiang regime.

  The Paris-based group Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has urged 14 companies ... to take a stand against any such repression, according to a statement. RSF said some of the firms, which are based in North America, Europe, Japan and South Korea, are selling material directly helping China to spy on and crack down on people using the Internet. Other companies simply close their eyes to the situation, it claims.....Beijing is presently censoring hundreds of websites of Western media outlets, political dissidents and others that are viewed as critical of the government or the ruling Communist Party, RSF said.

• Italy: Promoting Falun Gong at a Health Expo in Biella

  This year’s expo was held in Biella University and is the second time that Falun Gong practitioners have been involved. The organisers of the expo specially erected two Falun Gong posters, one of them introducing Falun Gong and the other of practitioners doing the exercises. The organiser commended Falun Gong, saying that it is a practice that cultivates the heart, mind and body. The expo also provided an area for practitioners to demonstrate the exercises and for practitioners to teach people the exercises.

The purpose of the parade was to arouse people's concern for the brutal persecution in China, and at the same time appeal for support from people.

  On November the 21st, forty citizens of Germany, China, Ireland, Canada, Australia and the United States filed a lawsuit with the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office against the former president of China, Jiang Zemin, and other leaders who are responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong, accusing them of genocide, crimes against humanity, murder, cruel torture and grievous bodily harm to Falun Gong practitioners in China between 1999 and 2003.

  With soothing Chinese music in the background, the Falun Gong parade passed though Unter den Linden in Berlin. Men and women of different ages and nationality held flower wreaths or banners, in different languages. Passerby looked on in awe and the police, who would usually be tense while monitoring parades, were relaxed as if taking a leisurely walk.

• EFGIC: Northeastern Province Records China's Highest Death Toll of Falun Gong Practitioners

  132 deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in Heilongjiang Province have been verified since the spiritual practice was ordered “eradicated” by former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin in 1999. Of the 824 total verified deaths of Falun Gong practitioners throughout the country, China’s most northeastern province, Heilongjiang, accounts for approximately 16% – the highest of any province.
