  • Russia: Appealing at the Chinese Embassy for an End to the Persecution of Falun Gong and to Support the Global Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin

    On the 16th of November, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Moscow to voice their support for the global lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, protest against the brutal persecution that the Jiang regime has inflicted upon Falun Gong, restrain the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Russia from spreading slanderous rumours about Falun Dafa.
  • UK: Famous Musician Raises Awareness of the Persecution of Falun Gong in Birmingham

    On Thursday the 20th of November, visiting Birmingham in the UK as part of David Bowie's tour of Europe, Sterling Campbell, the drummer for the band, took the opportunity to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Germany: Lawsuit Against Former Chinese Leader Jiang Zemin, for Genocide, Torture and Crimes Against Humanity

    The lawsuit is filed by a total of 39 victims of this persecution, the German Falun Dafa Association and dedicated citizens who support an end to the terror campaign against Falun Gong in China by taking part in this lawsuit. The lawsuit features the personal testimonies of 15 victims of torture, living outside of China. The official documentation contains the cases of over 800 deaths in this persecution, as well as other victims, providing an exposition of the unimaginable extent of this terror campaign, torture methods and persecution of people from all walks of life in China.

    "I was glad to hear from you and appreciate your very real and deep concerns about persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.   • UK: Several Stories from Activities in the City of Newcastle

    On November the 15th and 16th, Dafa practitioners from Scotland and England held a weekend activity to spread Falun Gong and clarify the facts of the persecution in Middlesborough and Newcastle. During the activity, as well as letting more people know the truth about Falun Gong, practitioners made good use of the opportunity to study the Fa and send forth righteous thoughts together.

    “In the labour camp, all tortures and cruel punishments carried out by the police are simply attempting to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their cultivation practice. My personal experience showed that the persecution towards Falun Gong is not due to any political reason or any illegal conduct of Falun Gong practitioners. It is purely a persecution of belief and human rights."
  • UK Member of Parliament Marris Writes to Wen Jiabao Urging Chinese Government to Release Falun Gong Practitioners

    "On November 13 2003, UK Member of Parliament Marris wrote to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, urging the Chinese government to release Falun Gong practitioners unconditionally. Marris said in his letter, they are incarcerated solely because of their expression of their peacefully held belief. "I strongly urge the Chinese government to ensure that independent investigation is carried out into the allegations and released them unconditionally if the allegations are upheld."
  • Several Scandinavian Newspapers Reprint and Cite News Issued by the Swedish Falun Gong Information Centre

    In September and October, forty-four Falun Gong deaths from torture and abuse have occurred in China. A press release regarding this news was sent to the largest news agency in Sweden and Norway, via the Swedish Falun Gong Information Centre, which was reprinted by the agency. Several Scandinavian media oulets also reprinted or quoted the news that exposed the facts of the brutal persecution launched by Jiang and Luo. This aroused more condemnation for the persecution throughout Scandinavia.

    Preparations for the annual European Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference have been arranged and practitioners are now awaiting the start of the conference. According to prediction, there should be hundreds of Falun Gong practitioners attending the conference, which is being held in Berlin, from 20 countries throughout Europe.   • Germany: The People of Frankfurt Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang

    Recently, practitioners from Frankfurt organised a photo exhibition to let people know the facts about the persecution and expose Jiang Zemin’s crimes of torture and genocide against Falun Gong. During the activity, pedestrians, tourists and Chinese citizens all carefully looked at the pictures and expressed their surprise at what is happening in China. Many passersby signed the petition to support the lawsuit.
  • Sweden: Lerum City High School Students Learn Falun Gong

    Two Swedish Falun Gong practitioners were invited by a high school in Lerum City to introduce Falun Gong. After the class, the students went to practitioners and asked for some truth clarifying materials. Many of them wanted to know about the free local classes where they could learn to practise Falun Gong. They left happily when practitioners promised to arrange a class for them.
  • "Radio France Internationale" (RFI): Ten Thousand Falun Gong practitioners Assemble to Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin at the Taiwan Criminal Court

    "According to a report from the Central News Agency in Taiwan, the Taiwanese Falun Dafa Association launched an assembly to support suing the Jiang regime for persecuting seven Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners. They will file a lawsuit charging the former Chinese president, Jiang Zemin, the former vice-Premier Li Lanqing and a member of the Politburo Standing Committee, Luo Gan, with the crime of genocide at the Taiwan High Court on the 17th of November."

  • Sweden: Portraying the Evil Nature of the Persecution and Appealing for the Rescue of Charles Li and Other Practitioners

    Recently, Swedish practitioners used their free time to peacefully appeal in front of the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Practitioners also expressed their support for the hundred Falun Gong practitioners who are on hunger strike in Jilin prison.
  • Sweden: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Lerum

    Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, distributed information about the practice and the persecution, and collected petition signatures calling for the rescue of American citizen Charles Li, who is currently being illegally detained and brainwashed in China. Many passers-by showed an interest in the activities.
