If the authorities can prove this with truthful evidence - that there are no "people being persecuted to death" - doesn't it show that the CCP is really "great, honorable, and correct?" If the judiciary doesn't investigate such a serious "rumor," isn't it negligent? If the Central Propaganda Department, which controls the CCP's media, does not report on it or refute the rumor, isn't it also negligent? -

After learning the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution, many people sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution, and discuss Falun Gong with their friends and family members. During the year, the Government arrested Falun Gong members and formally charged them with manufacturing claims that they were tortured. During the year, there were reports of persons, including Falun Gong adherents, sentenced to psychiatric hospitals for expressing their political or religious beliefs. Some reportedly were forced to undergo electric shock treatments." -
