    On the morning of January 25, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioners in New York gathered to appeal in front of the Associated Press (AP) Headquarters in Manhattan. They called upon the AP to retract its report on the Tiananmen "Self-Immolation," which severely misleads its readers, to make a public apology for this mistake, and to report the facts surrounding the "self-immolation" incident and the persecution of Falun Gong to make up for the damage it has caused.
  • Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held in Singapore

    On January 23, Singapore Falun Gong practitioners successfully held the 2005 Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference. Practitioners' talked about their cultivation experiences and about making continuous improvement while studying the principles of Falun Dafa, telling people about the truth and offering them salvation.

Now, more than a year later, the government still won't give her back her passport, he says."

    On the evening of January 12, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners held the 4th Chinese New Year's Celebration Party at St. Lawrence Market in downtown Toronto. The party combined a New Year's celebration with a demonstration of the beauty of Falun Dafa.

    On January 16, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from the Seoul area of Korea held a group Fa study and experience sharing meeting in the Aula of University of Seoul. Practitioners got together and studied Master's lectures, then reviewed what they had done in validating the Fa over the past year.
  • Zhuan Falun Becomes One of the Most Popular Books in Australia

    On December 5, 2004, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) revealed the 100 most popular books of the year in Australia. Mr. Li Hongzhi's book, Zhuan Falun [the main text of Falun Dafa], the number-one selling book of 1996 in Beijing, China, landed the number 14 spot on the chart. While the rest of the books on the chart were written by Western authors, Zhuan Falun is the only book written by an Asian author.
  • Indonesia: "Uncompromising Courage" Art Exhibition Held in Sumatra

    From December 24, 2004 to January 8, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Jakarta, Surabaya and Bali held a touring art exhibition, "Uncompromising Courage," in the four provincial capitals of Indonesia. They used the exhibition as an opportunity to talk to the public about Falun Gong, especially to the Chinese-Indonesian population.

    The head nun of Yuan Shan Temple is Shi Ru Xuan. Because of a predestined relationship, her relatives obtained Falun Dafa. She saw how much they benefited, so she started to learn Falun Dafa too.     It appears that, on the basis of this alleged association with Falun Gong, the Chinese embassy in Ottawa has refused visas for an NTDTV cameraman and reporter to accompany Prime Minister Paul Martin on his visit to China this week...It is undoubtedly true that many of the people working for NTDTV are Falun Gong practitioners...But very many people in the Chinese diaspora in general are followers of Falun Gong, as are millions within China where their ruthless persecution is one of Beijing's worst abuses of human rights.
