On Sunday the 10th of October 2004 the main newspaper of Puerto Rico - "El Nuevo Dia" - published a three page article about Falun Dafa and the five years of persecution that those who practise it have been subjected to. The article focused on an interview with a European practitioner who was visiting Puerto Rico and was featured on the cover of their Sunday supplement "Por Dentro". -
United States: Uncompromising Courage" Art Exhibition Opens at the National Arts Club in Manhattan

On October 28th, the "Uncompromising Courage" Art Exhibition opened to the public at the National Arts Club. It will remain there until November 8th. Through their works, the artists depict the forbearance of practitioners during the brutal persecution of Falun Gong and practitioners' "uncompromising courage" in upholding their human rights. -
Taiwan: Many Teachers and Students are Practising Falun Dafa at Sishih Elementary School

There are many teachers and students practising Falun Dafa in Sishih Elementary School in Tainan County. At the students' meeting on October 21st 2004, principal Chung Qishan encouraged promoting Falun Gong in the school so as to improve the health of community residents, teachers, and students, both mentally and physically. -

In a press statement, the association has also condemned alleged Chinese government secret agents' June 28, 2004 attempted assassination of five Falun Gong practitioners in South Africa...The association expressed strong support for Falun Gong in all the legal procedures being undertaken to bring perpetrators to justice." -
Scoop (New Zealand): China's Former Leader Sued for Genocide
2004-10-30Eleven NZ citizens and residents filed a lawsuit in the Auckland High Court today against Jiang Zemin, the former president of China. "It's part of the biggest human rights case in the world since WWII... In the end, we plan to bring Jiang Zemin to the International Tribunal," says Theresa Chu, a lawyer who brought a similar case to court in Taiwan and also the director of International Advocates For Justice. "Twenty-seven lawyers from 21 countries are working to bring Jiang and his cohorts to justice across the world." -

Korea: Practitioners Expose the Persecution of Falun Gong while Providing Free Medical Treatment to Chinese Immigrants in Ansan City

With help from the Korean branch of "Epoch Times", Falun Gong practitioners from Ansan City formed a team of practitioners who are also medical doctors, traditional Korean doctors, and pharmacists to provide free medical services to foreign workers (mostly Chinese) twice a month.
