Falun Dafa Practitioners Ms. Shen Zili and Ms. Xu Hongfei from Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province in Danger of Losing their Lives

Practitioners Ms. Shen Zili and Ms. Xu Hongmei from Qiqihar City in Heilongjiang Province have been on hunger strike without water for 33 days in an effort to regain their freedom. In the afternoon on February 13th, 2007, police officers put handcuffs and foot shackles on them and took them to the municipal hospital. Since that day, they have been in critical condition. On January 13th, when Ms. Shen, Ms. Xu visited a practitioner's home, police officers broke into the residence, arrested them and took them to the police station. Police officer Yi Zhanhui dragged Ms. Xu from the 4th to the ground floor, then applied different torture methods and did not stop until she lost consciousness. Yi Zhanhui poured cold water on her face to wake her up and then continued with the torture. Then, they locked her into an iron cage. -
Persecution Cases of Falun Dafa Practitioners from Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province
2007-02-25In March 2007, police arrested Ms. Huang Jinrong on the street and took her to the detention centre. During the period when she was detained, the 610 Office forced her to write the guarantee statement. On July 28th, she was again arrested and taken to to the Majialong Forced Labour Camp, a hell in the human world, where Ms. Huang Jinrong once again suffered from extreme torture. She was spiritually brainwashed and physically treated like a slave. The drug addict prisoners beat her and used a towel to gag her which caused her temples to make a cracking sound. The towel was full of blood. As a result of mental pressure and physical torture, she was persecuted to the state of mental aberration. Even under such circumstances, the prison guards did not release her. Instead, they still detained her for an extended term. -
Ms. Li Fengzhen from Liaoning Province Arrested Ten Times in Seven Years; She's Still Being Persecuted and Her Eyesight is Failing
2007-02-25During my seven years of persecution I was abducted ten times, I was taken to forced labour camps twice and to a detention centre once. My home was ransacked twice without any legal procedure. In 2002 I was arrested again. After I got out of the car the police threw me to the ground. The deputy chief beat, punched and kicked me. The pain in my head was unbearable and I lost consciousness and fell the the ground. After I woke up the deputy chief said, "Li Fengzhen, to tell you the truth, if you don't transform they'll beat you to death here. The deaths of Falun Gong practitioners from beatings are nothing, and we call them suicides." -
Eyewitness to the Vicious Incidents at Shandong Province No. 2 Women's Forced Labour Camp
2007-02-25Wangcun Forced Labour Camp officials punish the steadfast Falun Gong practitioners by forcing them to sit on benches all day long while at the same time collaborators attempt to "reform" them. If the practitioners refuse to be reformed, they would be forbidden to sleep. Because I could not tolerate sleep deprivation I gave in and allowed them to "reform" me. This camp has a basement where the prison guards locked up those practitioners who were not "reformed." I opened a cell door and saw a practitioner hanging on a wall. Her head was wrapped up except for her eyes. I was terrified. -
Verification in January 2007 of Ten More Practitioners That Have Died from Persecution in China
2007-02-24Guangxi Falun Dafa practitioner Ms.Lin Tiemei died as a result of torture on December 8th, 2005. She was only 33 years old. Lin Tiemei was subjected to inhumane torture at the labour camp. With her hands and feet tied tightly, her arms and legs were stretched out as wide as possible on a bed and she was forced to relieve herself on the bed. The prison guards also incited criminal inmates to beat Ms. Lin. They forced cleaning rags and stinky socks into her mouth, used rubberised fabric to seal her mouth, put a helmet on her head, handcuffed her, and took her to the so-called "dragon palace." This treatment and these conditions caused the skin around her mouth to become rotten. -
Mr. Bai Jinqi Dies after Six Months of Abuse in Benxi City Forced Labour Camp, Liaoning Province
2007-02-24Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Bai Jinqi, 55, used to be very healthy, but he was tortured to a skeleton-like state in less than six months inside a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) labour camp and died upholding his beliefs. On August 3rd, 2006, Mr. Bai was taken to Benxi City Forced Labour Camp, where he was forced to write the "Three Statements", watch brainwashing videos, write "thought reports," and do hard labour. After one heavy labour session, Mr. Bai felt pain in the right side of his chest, and he could not get up. The labour camp forced him to pay to see the doctors. The doctors found that he had late-stage lung cancer. On December 9th, 2006, when Mr. Bai's family picked him up, he was as thin as a skeleton. He died on February 7th, 2007. -
Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinfan from Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, Persecuted Since 1999
2007-02-24Ms. Wang Jinfan, 53, has been persecuted repeatedly by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) since July 20th, 1999. On April 19th, 2002, she was arrested again. Two policemen beat her so badly that she was covered all over with cuts and bruises and was close to being paralysed. Both her sides and breasts had so many bruises that it was very hard for her to breathe. Her feet turned black due to the beating. She also had internal bleeding in her neck. The beating also caused her vision to become blurry. The police continued torturing her with even more brutal means. They shocked her with electric batons until she was close to death. When she was taken to the emergency room of the police hospital, Director Yan of the police department called the hospital and said, "A Falun Gong practitioner dying is not a big deal. You don't have to worry, I will take responsibility." -
Practitioner Mr. Chen Yuanzeng in Liaoning Province Suffered From Severe Persecution
2007-02-24On December 8th, 2006, Mr. Chen was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and telling people the truth about Falun Dafa. Someone informed the police. The police took him to the Zhuanghe Detention Centre. The liver cirrhosis ascites recurred that he had had before practising Dafa. He became so weak that he could not walk. Mr. Chen was suffering from severe symptoms, experiencing severe pain in the liver and stomach. He asked the police for medical attention, but the prison doctor was unsympathetic because the overseas media publicised his participation in the persecution. This doctor had once force-fed practitioners with hot pepper powder. The doctor said, "I don't treat Falun Gong practitioners." -
Update on the Plight of Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhao Yongcai from Shulan City, Jilin Province
2007-02-23Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Yongcai from Shulan City, Jilin Province is still being detained in the Nanshan Detention Centre, and his prison term has been extended by nine months. We have learned that Zhao Yongcai has launched a hunger strike to protest this persecution and that his life is in danger. When he was arrested in May 2006 police punched and kicked him. They also wrapped several layers of plastic bags around Mr. Zhao Yongcai's head, causing him to lose consciousness and almost suffocating him. They poured mustard oil into his nose, causing severe headaches, damage to his lungs and swelling of his nose. Mr. Zhao Yongcai's wife has now fallen ill as a result of everything that has happened. -
The Persecution of Mr. Li Shangshi, Former Manager of the Liaoning Panjin Forest Products Company, Reveals the Injustice of the Legal Process under the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
2007-02-2359-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Shangshi was a college-educated manager at the Panjin Forest Products Company in Liaoning Province. Mr. Li was arrested on two occasions for practising Falun Gong. The first time, he was sentenced to prison for three years. At the court the lawyer assigned by the court to defend Mr Li said, "The government has made the practice of Falun Gong illegal, so you must be guilty." On April 20th, 2004, Mr. Li was again sentenced, this time to fourteen years in prison. -
Wang Bo and Her Parents Sentenced to Four and Five Years in Prison

25-year-old practitioner Ms. Wang Bo was falsely charged with "using a cult organisation to disrupt the administration of law" and was sentenced to five years in prison by the Chinese Communist government in early February 2007. Her father Wang Xinzhong and mother Liu Shuqin were equally charged, and each was sentenced to four years in prison. -
Practitioners Ms. Chen Peizhu and Ms. Huang Cailan from Guangxi Autonomous Region Sentenced in October 2006
2007-02-23On June 4th, 2006, police officers arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Chen Peizhu and Ms. Huang Cailan at their homes. An court hearing was held secretly in October. Family members were not informed of the hearing until an insider told them about it less than one day before. The Prosecutor's Office at the Longlin County Procuratorate brought fabricated charges against them in the absence of a defence lawyer or witnesses. Ms. Chen Peizhu wanted to share her experiences of practising Falun Gong with the court, but the Chief Justice rejected her request. -
Bloody Scene on Tiananmen Square

On February 9th, 2007, two fellow practitioners and I walked around Tiananmen Square. We saw a man sitting still on the ground, but I didn't see clearly what he was doing. Out of nowhere police suddenly came towards that man. Soon they pressed him to the ground and showered him with kicks. A police car drove in and the police dragged him to the car. -
The Backyard at Harbin City Police Hospital, Heilongjiang Province
2007-02-22Few people know that the Harbin City Police Hospital has a backyard. In October 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Zhong from Daqin City was murdered there. A second practitioner, a farmer, was also murdered there not long ago, although the story is only now becoming known. On August 10th, 2006 Mr. Zhang Zhong was visiting a friend when police arrested him and took him to the Nangang District Police Division Detention Centre. Mr. Zhang was brutally tortured. After about ten days, he was transferred to the Harbin City Police Hospital where the torture continued. Only about ten days later, on October 16th, the police hospital suddenly told Daqing Prison to notify Mr. Zhang's family of his death. -
"Pouring Into an Ice Pipe" -- A Torture at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2007-02-22Wanjia Forced Labour Camp staff brutally persecute imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners. In the winter, they open the window and strip off practitioners' clothing, and force them to sit on iron chairs with both hands handcuffed behind the back. The practitioners are forced to step on the ice-cold cement ground barefoot while water was poured on them. After the water freezes, their feet are frozen in the ice. The perpetrators call this punishment "Pouring Into an Ice Pipe." Sometimes, practitioners were handcuffed behind the back to the top of a two-metre-high bunk bed. Their feet were off the ground and the weight of the whole body fell on the wrists. At the very least, they went numb in both hands and fell unconscious; some were crippled in both arms from this torture. An elderly practitioner was hung up like this for three days straight, and eventually died.
