Secret Order in Jilin Prison: Count Deaths From Force-Feeding as "Suicide" or "Death From Natural Causes"

The authorities of Jilin Prison have just issued a secret order to isolate the Falun Gong practitioners who have gone on hunger strikes into small cells for close surveillance and force-feeding. Deaths that occur due to force-feeding will be counted as suicides or deaths from natural causes. There are currently seven practitioners who are being tortured by barbaric force-feeding. -
Our Family Is Being Persecuted Because We Will Not Renounce Our Belief in "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance"
2003-11-27In the last four years, our family of five people have been detained and tortured numerous times just because we practise Falun Gong and are letting the public know about the illegal persecution against us which has harmed so many innocent people. Jiang Zemin's attack on Falun Dafa has broken my family apart. Even my friends and relatives are terrified of being implicated simply for know us and dare not contact or approach us. We hope that people around the world help bring Jiang to justice in the international court and end the persecution against innocent people! -
A Blind Man Says "Falun Dafa is Good!" And Receives A One Year Prison Sentence
2003-11-27In 2001 he went to City Hall to appeal his job situation. At that time there were many people appealing at City Hall. When he started talking about Falun Gong with the people around him, he said frankly, "Falun Gong is good. They (practitioners) are very kind. Even in the face of the persecution they have always been kind. If all the peasants practised Falun Gong, we wouldn't need any other regulations." When he was overheard making this statement, police put him in the detention centre for more than 10 days. They then ransacked his house and sentenced him to a ludicrous sentence of year and a half of prison. -
131 Falun Dafa Practitioners Have Died As a Direct Result of Persecution in Heilongjiang Province
2003-11-26At of the end of October 2003, based on investigations done through means available to the general public, there have been at least 816 confirmed deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in China. This is the direct result of the brutal persecution initiated by Jiang Zemin's regime. In Heilongjiang Province alone, 131 residents who practise the Falun Gong principles of Truth-Compassion-Tolerance were tortured to death. -
Eleven Dafa Practitioners Have Lost Their Lives Due to Torture in Hebei Province
2003-11-26Based on available information, the "610 Office" and the Public Security Bureau of Zhangjiakou City have tortured to death at least eleven Falun Gong practitioners in that city. Most of them were women in their 50's...Hebei Province Dafa practitioner, Ms. Sun Yanqing, died of forced feeding three years ago in the Xuanhua District Hospital. She was in her 40's and worked at the Mechanical Maintenance Facility of the Xuanhua District Steel Works in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. Ms. Sun was abducted when she went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution of Falun Dafa. Her condition became critical after she was tortured by being force-fed during a week-long hunger strike. Ms. Sun died a few days later after she was sent back to Xuanhua and hospitalized. -
More Facts Related to Elderly Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Jianhou's Death in Sichuan Province
2003-11-26After causing Mr. Li Jianhou's death, at a meeting with prisoners, the jail's education department head Mr. Zeng commented on practitioners' demands of an investigation. He said that investigation into the death of Mr. Li and the beating of Mr. Zhou Mingfa are unreasonable and improper. Then he also slandered and attacked Dafa with many vicious words. Deyang Prosecutor, Director Mr. Huang, started a rumour that 10 or so detained practitioners violated rules by not reforming, and he requested inmates to spy on and report on practitioners, trying to intimidate the whole group. -
Personal Account of Forced Labour and Agonising Torture in Guizhou Province
2003-11-26The government's policy of re-education through forced-labour stipulates that detainees can obtain 85 Yuan per month for living expenses (85 Yuan is about $10 USD). After deducting 5 Yuan for each incidental expense, actual living expense money given to each person was less than 60 Yuan per month. Under forced labour, we were forced to work long hours at the same task. Guards would deprive us of sleep for three days and nights in order to make us finish the assigned work within their time frame. Exhausted detainees would often fall sound asleep while squatting in the washroom or curled up under a pupil's desk. The suffering was so intense that, at the end of October, one drug-addict committed suicide by hanging himself and another jumped to his death from a building. -
Policeman Separates a Mother From Her Newborn Baby
2003-11-25Policeman Song Jiancheng once intruded into a private residence by climbing over a barrier in the winter of 2000. He kidnapped a female Dafa practitioner and illegally sentenced her to one year of labour education. This female Dafa practitioner's child was very small and still being breast-fed at the time. Her husband was working away from home and her mother-in-law was in another province. Nobody was left at home to take care of the little baby. -
Labour Camp Police Pull Out Dafa Practitioner's Teeth and Inject Him with Nerve-Damaging Drugs
2003-11-25In order to resist the persecution, Ma Yulin went on a hunger strike. The cold-hearted police tried to force feed him but he refused to cooperate with them. The police then used pliers to pull out all his teeth on both sides of his mouth. The police and prison doctors also tied him up, and injected him with nerve-damaging drugs, which have caused various physical problems. Mr. Ma is currently extremely weak. -
Harbin City Practitioner is Tortured to Disablement and Illegally Sentenced to Fourteen Years in Prison
2003-11-24On May 15, 2003, practitioner Ms. Sun Fenghua was arrested by Harbin City Police in Heilongjiang Province. While she was in detention, the police repeatedly shocked her with an electric baton, which left her body covered with scars. The police also connected live 220-volt electric lines directly to her hands, resulting in her immediate loss of consciousness. Ms. Sun is still unable to walk as a result of such a massive electrical shock. After more than twenty days of torture, the police sent her back to Hailun City Detention Centre, where she went on a hunger strike for more than four months. -
A Prison Doctor in Changchun City Tortures Falun Dafa Practitioners
2003-11-24Ms. Wang was cruelly persecuted because she went on a hunger strike to resist the illegal detention. She was forced to wear handcuffs and shackles. The handcuffs were connected to the shackles so she could not stand up. Even more vicious than that, the prison doctor, Dr. Yi, and Guo Jin tortured her by pushing needles into all of her fingertips. Ms. Wang had been on a hunger strike for 30 days and was tortured like this for 25 days. It is an extremely painful and cruel torture. The same torture was used on her previously when she was detained last year. She was also tortured with a corrosive liquid, which they dropped into her nose. -
Brutality at Suihua Forced Labour Camp: Repeated Beatings and Electric Shock
2003-11-23In March 2003, police officers Fan Xiaodong took turns beating practitioner Zheng Shuzhong. Mr. Zheng almost died from the severe injuries. He remained in bed over 20 days. He would vomit up whatever he ate. During a period of more than three weeks, Mr. Zheng endured unimaginable pain. He maintained the strongest righteous faith and survived the brutal ordeal. Even when Zheng was near death, however, the police did not slow their terrible campaign. -
Death of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhang Xiaodong in Gansu Province Due to Torture
2003-11-22He was illegally arrested and detained at the No. 1 Detention Centre in Lanzhou City for over two years, merely for clarifying the truth about Dafa. Not only that, but the enforcers had also unlawfully sentenced him to seven years in prison. During over two years of detention, he was brutally tortured and was close to death and was later sent to a clinic. He passed away on October 24th, 2003 at Kangtai Hospital. -
Liu Chengjun's Life is In Danger--Police Will Not Allow Him Medical Parole
2003-11-22He remained unconscious for an entire day following an inability to eat or drink for the past twenty-five days. He is a patient at Central Hospital, located within the Jilin Provincial Forced Labour Camp, where for many days he has been officially classified as "life at risk." Jilin City Prison has agreed to temporarily release him for medical treatment, but as he is a registered resident of Nong-an County, that would put him under the jurisdiction of the Nong-an County Police System, and they have refused to accept him because they are afraid to accept responsibility for his life. Consequently, the prison voided his medical parole forms, and Liu Chengjun has not been allowed to go home. -
An Account of How Police in Qian'an City, Hebei Province Brutally Killed A Young Female Falun Dafa Practitioner
2003-11-21Around 10 p.m. on November 26, 2000, police from the Qian'an City Detention Centre brought in 14 Falun Dafa practitioners. They came from all over the country, and were arrested because they went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Gong in Beijing. The police lied to them by saying that if they told their names and addresses they would be released. These Falun Dafa practitioners refused to cooperate with the unjust demands, and they were all inhumanely tortured.
