  Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Feng Ruixue, a former lecturer, was arrested on April 6th, 2006, for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution on the Hebei Province Business University campus. The flyers exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Police detained Ms. Feng. She was scheduled to go on trial December 29th, 2006.

• The Relentless Persecution of 63-year-old Ms. Wang Yunliao

  At the end of 1999, when she told people about the benefits of practising Falun Gong at a train station, police officers arrested 63-year-old Ms. Wang Yunliao and kept her at a detention centre for two weeks. Her family was forced to pay 2,000 yuan to get her released. In 2003 she was arrested again and taken to brainwashing. They took turns intimidating her in an attempt to force her to give up Falun Dafa. In November 2006 Ms. Wang was arrested again and detained.

• Police from the 610 Office in Yanqing County, Beijing Arrested Twenty Dafa Practitioners in 2006

  On June 28th, 2008, Shi Yingjie was arrested. He was thirty-one years old and an employee at the railway station. During his detention, he was tortured and developed the symptoms of heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke. Once he was on the brink of death and was sent to the Yanqing County Hospital. On September 19th, the Beijing Public Security Bureau arrested him again. He is now detained at the Second Custodial Station under the Seventh Department of the Public Security Bureau.

• Ms. Zhao Wenlan, 68, from Hebei Province Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison

  Due to her beliefs in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and because she explained the facts about Falun Gong to people, Ms. Zhao Wenlan, a 68 year-old practitioner, has been arrested and detained on multiple occasions over the past seven years. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2004 and is currently detained at Shijiazhuang Women's Prison. Zhao Wenlan was tortured with the handcuffed-behind-the back method for nine days: the victim's shoulders are pulled down heavily by handcuffs at the back. After a while, the handcuffs cut into the flesh and the hands turn purple. It is very painful, and the victim cannot perform daily functions, nor are they able to sleep.

• 610 Office Sentences Xiangtan City Practitioner Mr. Huang Deming to Forced Labour

  On the evening of November 7th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Huang Deming and Ms. Luo Jinxiu, from were both arrested by local police while distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. The Xiangtan City 610 Office had Mr. Huang Deming sentenced to one year of forced labour on December 10th, 2006, and he was taken to the Xinkaipu Labour Camp in Changsha City. Another female Falun Dafa practitioner, name unknown, was sent to the Changsha City Women's Prison.

• Ms. Sun Yanfang, a Teacher in Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province, Imprisoned

  Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Yanfang, a teacher, has been imprisoned many times for practising Falun Dafa. In September 2006, when she went to the 610 Office to file a complaint, she was arrested and detained in Acheng City's First Detention Centre, where she was terribly tortured and placed in handcuffs and shackles. Therefore, she went on a hunger strike shouting, "Falun Dafa is good!" Acheng City Hospital sent over a team of medical personnel and monitors to force-feed Ms. Sun Yanfang causing her to become extremely skinny. On November 21st, Sun Yanfang received the Court's judgement: a three-year term of imprisonment.

• Ms. Song Ping from Shenzhen Imprisoned Again After Serving Unjust Five-year Sentence

  On October 30th, in order to find a job in Shenzhen, practitioner Ms. Song Ping, who had been imprisoned for five years went to the local police station to obtain an ID. The police arrested her. It is believed that Ms. Song is now being held in the Shenzhen Brainwashing Centre. In June 2001, because Ms. Song distributed leaflets exposing the persecution in Nanjing, she had been arrested and sentenced to five years in prison. She was released in July 2006.

• Practitioner Ms. Chen Yachun Arrested by Public Security Bureau in Beizhen, Liaoning Province

  On the evening of October 25th, 2006, Ms. Chen was suddenly arrested for practising Falun Dafa by local police. Later, Ms. Chen's family repeatedly went to the local police station to request her release but they were not allowed to even visit her. On November 2nd, Ms. Chen Yachun's mother went to the police station to speak out for justice. Not only did the police refuse to listen to her, they also locked her in a room, forbade her from speaking, and kicked and punched her.

• Mr. Cao Dong, Arrested Immediately After Meeting With VP of European Parliament, to Stand "Trial" on Friday in Lanzhou City Court, Gansu Province

  Gansu Province People's Court, a body of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) totalitarian rule, is planning to put Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cao Dong on trial. Mr. Cao Dong met with Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott on May 21st, 2006 and exposed the persecution of Falun Gong to him. For this, the CCP is arranging for him to be tried on charges including: Illegally connecting with an international "anti-China force". Ever since Mr. Cao Dong was arrested on the day of his meeting with the European Parliament Vice President Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott, his parents, parents-in-law, and his later-released (from Beijing Women's Labour Camp) wife have not been allowed to visit him.

• Communist Party Personnel from Tianjin City Arrest Falun Gong Practitioner Li Yuzhen After Using Deceitful Means to Enter the Home

  On November 15th, 2006, personnel from the Tong An Li residents committee in conjunction with Communist Party police broke into Falun Gong practitioner Li Yuzhen's home. They used the excuse of wanting to discuss a People's Congress election to deceive the practitioner into opening the door. They arrested her after they searched her home, confiscated her family's property and imprisoned her at the detention centre in Nankai District Police Department.

  At noon on November 13th, 2006, Chinese Communist Party officials went by car to the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yan Zhenxiang. The two ordered Mr. Yan to go to Ziyang for a two-day "study session." Yan Zhenxiang firmly refused. The two officials were surprised and disappointed. Then eight people came out of the car and carried Yan Zhenxiang out of his home. His wife screamed in fear.

• Mr. Chen Xuzhong from Yongchang County, Gansu Province, Again Sent to Forced Labour Camp

  Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Xuzhong, employed at the Hexibao Electricity Plant affiliated with the Jinchang Electricity Bureau in Gansu Province, was arrested in early August 2006 and sentenced to two years of forced labour in November 2006. He is now being persecuted at Group 16, Division 6 at the Pingantai Forced Labour Camp in Lanzhou City. The guards are refusing to let his practitioner parents visit him.

• Elderly Mr. Cheng Huazheng from Anshun City, Guizhou Province Repeatedly Arrested

  64-year-old Cheng Huazheng had only recently been released from the notorious Zhongba Forced Labour Camp after having been imprisoned for three years. While he was imprisoned, he was frequently deprived of sleep for as long as two weeks and frequently and mercilessly beaten for several hours at a time. He suffered multiple bone fractures and internal injuries from the savage beatings. Mr. Cheng was tormented until he came close to a mental breakdown, and to this day, he is often disoriented.

• Police in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province Arrested 18 Falun Dafa Practitioners Within One Month

  Since October 30th, police in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province have arrested eighteen Falun Dafa practitioners. On November 25th, four people from the National Security Division of the Police Department in the Xinghualing District of Taiyuan City took Ms. Li Yukun from her home, accusing her of distributing copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party . On November 26th, Ms. Li was imprisoned at the Taiyuan City Detention Centre.

• Falun Dafa Practitioners Speak Out against Slanderous Accusations in Longshan District Court in Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province

  On December 6th, 2006, the Longshan District Court of Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province put nine Falun Dafa practitioners on trial. These nine practitioners spoke out righteously against the slanderous accusations. Mr. Zhao Yan stepped forward. After being detained for nearly eight months, this young man's weight had gone from 200 pounds to 150 pounds. His face was very sallow. He was asked, "Do you admit to all the crimes you have committed?" He answered, "No, cultivating Falun Gong is an innocent act!" The Judge was very angry and ordered, "Record what he says!" After more than three hours, the Court session concluded without resolution.
