Radio France Internationale (RFI): US State Department’s Annual Report States that China Continues to Persecutes Falun Gong
2005-11-19"The U.S. has long been concerned about the fact that there is no freedom of religion in China. Given that, in the U.S. State Department’s annual report, China was relegated to the category of countries subject to special attention. The report criticised China because its respect for freedom of religion and freedom of belief remained poor. The report also said that some religious leaders, followers, and even those in some official churches were detained, arrested, sentenced or put into forced labour camps for re-education." -

Radio Free Asia: German Society Concerned about the Jiang Renzheng Case
2005-11-11"Prior to Hu Jintao’s visit to Germany, the organisation engaged in the rescue of Mr Jiang and his German friends have stepped up their rescue efforts. As to the latest development in this case, according to a German human rights organisation that has long been concerned about Jiang’s situation, they have called on the Chinese authorities concerned to release Jiang and let him and his family members return to Germany as soon as possible, so that Jiang’s case would not affect Hu’s state visit to Germany." -
Report on Falun Gong Broadcast as part of the Kosmopolis Documentary on Czech TV
2005-10-28On the evening of Wednesday October 19th, Czech viewers had a chance to watch a ten minute report about the practice of Falun Gong. The practitioners performed the exercises and briefly informed the viewers about Falun Dafa's principles. One of them shared his experience and said that in the past he had many arguments with other people. Since he started the practise of cultivating Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, he changed his behaviour and gets along much better with others. -

2005-10-16The announcement includes two points. For one thing, the announcement warns China’s officials at all levels not to participate in the persecution of Falun Gong. Otherwise, if they travel abroad or if Falun Gong’s miscarriage of justice were reversed, they would be brought to justice. For another, if China’s officials are determined to renounce the evil and join the camp of justice, they could write a letter to Falun Gong’s Minghui.net or their local Falun Gong Association expressing their regret for their previous wrongdoing. -

Radio France Internationale: French Judicial Authorities Outraged by China’s Refusal to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong
2005-10-06This afternoon, renowned French human rights attorney William Bourdon held a press conference in his office. Mr. William Bourdon stated that a French court had sent a Commission Rogatoire Internationale (CRI) to China’s counterpart department, requesting related Chinese authorities to cooperate in an investigation into the roles played by Li Lanqing, Chinese Minister of Culture Sun Jiazheng, the “6-10 Office” and the Chinese police in the persecution of Falun Gong. Li Lanquing, former Deputy Prime Minister of China, was in charge of the “6-10 Office”, a Gestapo-like organisation of the CCP that specifically suppresses Falun Gong. -

2005-10-03According to a broadcast by Radio France Internationale on September 28th, 2005, to the metropolitan Paris and Asia-Pacific areas, in reaction to the planned visit by China’s Minister of Culture, Sun Jiazheng, to Washington DC this October, US Falun Gong practitioners have submitted a letter to the Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, requesting that Sun’s entry to the US be denied. -

Italian State TV Station Broadcasts a Special Programme on the Persecution of Falun Gong
2005-08-23On June 13th, Italian State TV Station LA 7 broadcast a special programme regarding the Falun Gong practitioners in China who have been brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. The programmes title was “China's Shadow” and it lasted around an hour. The producer of this special program, Ms. Flaminia Lubin, decided to produce this film after seeing an anti-torture exhibition held by Falun Gong practitioners in New York. She hoped to let Italians understand the cruel persecution of the Falun Gong practitioners. -
Sweden: A Programme About the Persecution of Falun Gong on Presens TV in Stockholm
2005-08-15A television programme about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China was transmitted by a television-station, Presens TV on July 22nd. The programme was high quality, covering different aspects. As an introduction, two pictures of Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong were shown, one before and one after she was tortured.
