Atrocities at the Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin

At Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin City, Falun Dafa practitioners detained are forced to do the most filthy and labour intensive jobs. They were also insulted and abused continuously by the prison guards and criminals. The main job in the camp is to grade and sort dried beans. Steadfast practitioners, some over 70 years old, were forced to carry 50 - 60 kg (1 kg = 2.2 lb) bags of seed, and they were forbidden to stop and rest or to help each other. When everyone finished the day's work, some were tortured, being forced to stand in a painful position until midnight or later. -
An Account of the Brutal Crimes Committed by Wanjia Forced Labour Camp (Reenactment Photos)
2004-12-07On January 30, 2001, more than 200 male prison guards, descended on the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp where Falun Gong practitioners were detained.They took all the practitioners to the corridor while beating and cursing at them. Some practitioners were thrown out into the corridor by a group of three guards, one grasping the hair and the other two holding the practitioner's thighs. The sound generated by electric batons, the prison guards' cursing and threats, and the sound of brutal beating, all mixed together. The prison guards tried to force Falun Gong practitioners to confess to fabricated charges. -
A 65-year-old Female Falun Dafa Practitioner Tortured to Disability at Baimalong Labour Camp
2004-12-0765-year old Ms. Yang Jusheng was sent to the Baimalong Women's Labour Camp in May 2004 for her belief in Falun Dafa. Since then, she has endured various inhumane tortures. She was forced to stand for an extended period of time, which caused a serious prolapse of her rectum and she was not allowed to sleep for 13 days straight. In addition, the long-term physical punishment left both of her feet disabled, and now she can barely walk. -

2004-12-06Majialong Forced Labour Camp is located in Jiujiang City of Jiangxi Province. It is used for detention of Falun Gong practitioners. The labour camp perpetrators have abused, mistreated, tormented and tortured Falun Gong practitioners with shocking methods. -
Practitioner Ms. Fuli's Hands Disabled by Torture at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp (Photos)
2004-12-04Forty-one-year-old Heilongjiang Province practitioner Ms. Fuli was arrested and sent to Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in November 1999 because she appealed for freedom to practise Falun Dafa. In Wanjia Forced Labour Camp, Ms. Fuli endured inhuman treatment. She was hung by her thumbs, placed in solitary confinement, and tortured in many others ways. To hang her by her thumbs, the police tied rope around her thumbs and then hung her up by the rope. Her thumbs had to sustain the weight of her whole body! After being suspended like that for a long time, her thumbs became deformed and her hands disabled. -
The Barbaric Torture I Endured at the Dalian Forced Labour Camp
2004-12-02"On November 22, 1999, my older sister and I went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practise Falun Gong. From then on I was detained in detention centres and a labour camp several times. I experienced the most inhumane and debased torture and persecution that you could ever imagine, including beatings with electric batons, forced-feedings, holding extremely uncomfortable positions for long periods etc. Yet I was able to survive due to my faith in Falun Dafa." -
Practitioner Yu Ming Secretly Transferred Numerous Times for Suing Jiang While Detained in a Labour Camp
2004-11-30Falun Dafa practitioner Mr Yu Ming was admired and feared by re-education team leaders and custodians that monitored him the various labour camps he was incarcerated in. He wrote an appeal to sue Jiang Zemin for his criminal actions towards practitioners and their families and was detained by the team leader. In the end, Yu Ming walked out of the camp due to his upright state of mind. -
The Savage Guards at Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp Ask: "Do You Want to be Burned to Death or Buried Alive?"
2004-11-18One evening between April 20 and April 23, 2003, close to 30 Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp guards took five Falun Gong practitioners to a deserted field, and pushed them towards five burning bonfires. Each bonfire was separated from another by about 100 feet, with pre-dug pits next to them. There were 5-6 guards next to each bonfire. The guards yelled at the practitioners; "Do you want to be burned to death or buried alive? A quick death means less suffering than a slow painful one!" -
How Two Practitioners Were Killed as a Result of Persecution in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province
2004-11-15This is an eyewitness account by a detainee in the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp Hospital. She witnessed the persecution of practitioners Ms. Liu Limei, Ms. Fu Guilan, and Ms. Wu Yajie between 2002 and 2004. During their imprisonment in the labour camp, this detainee witnessed the miracle of Falun Dafa and the practitioners' steadfast faith and determination to validate and safeguard Falun Dafa with their lives. As a result, this eyewitness embarked on the path of Faun Dafa cultivation and became a determined practitioner. -
Severe Torture Methods Used to Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners at the Dalian Forced Labour Camp
2004-11-10The authorities at the Dalian Forced Labour Camp have followed Jiang Zemin since July 20, 1999 to persecute Falun Gong. They torture practitioners savagely. In order to hide their crimes, they whitewash the facts by telling lies to practitioners' families and the public. Practitioners detained at the Women's Division have experienced tortures in small cells, and intensive brainwashing and forced labour, among others. Each small cell (confinement room) holds three to four cages made from stainless steel pipes. The cages are about 2 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 2 metres tall. Practitioners were locked in these cages to force them to abandon Falun Gong. -
The "Seven Dishes" Torture in the Leshan City Detention Centre
2004-11-08Yuan Tao beat me, causing my face to bleed. Yuan and Zheng also burned my arms, fingers, and chest with cigarettes. Luo Peihua said, "I got word from the higher-ups that if we beat you to death, it will be treated like nothing has happened at all." Luo and Zheng said, "We'll stop hitting you if you curse your Teacher (Referring to the founder of Falun Gong)." I did not utter a word from the beginning to the end. The five of them stopped beating me after they were exhausted. -
Young Practitioner Du Weifeng Suffers Mental Collapse from Brutal Torture at Chaoyang Forced Labour Camp
2004-11-07Falun Gong practitioner Du Weifeng from Liaoning Province, suffered brutal persecution when he was only a teenager detained in the Chaoyang Forced Labour Camp. He endured tortures such as electric shock, standing straight for long periods of time and many other abuses, which led to a mental collapse on two occasions from which he has still not recovered. -

The Longshan Forced Labour Camp is located in a southeast suburban area of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. The first group of Falun Gong practitioners was sent there around October 21, 1999, at a time when a large number of Falun Gong practitioners went to Beijing to appeal. They were sent there arbitrarily, without following any due legal process. The government knows the practitioners are innocent. -

Yuhezhen Township Transformation Centre is notorious for their "Great variety of styles and vicious techniques" which they use against practitioners and to persecute Falun Gong. Their tortures often included shocking practitioners with electric batons; whipping them with wooden sticks, rubber hoses, or bamboo shoots; sticking needles under their fingernails; scalding them with boiling water, etc. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Yanxiang Remains Unwavering Amid Horrific Torture and Atrocities
2004-11-0456 year old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yanxiang, was abducted by officers from the local police station in November 2002. The police took her to the Tangshan No. 1 Detention Centre, where she was detained for more than 100 days before she was illegally sentenced to a forced labour camp. In the forced labour camp the guards stripped Liu Yanxiang naked and nine deputies pushed her onto the floor. They used electric batons to shock her hands, feet and back simultaneously. Ms. Liu lost consciousness in a short amount of time due to the intensity of the torture.
