Nie Chunling's Open Letter to Demand the Release of Her Husband

"My family were able to learn Falun Dafa, and ever since, we have walked on a path of cultivation. Our family relationship improved tremendously and we lived happily together. Our business improved, as well. However, once the persecution started our house was broken into countless times. I was arrested 18 times, and my husband was in and out of labour camps. All of our savings was taken away by the Public Security Bureau through illegal fines and various fees. Our restaurant was forced to close down, which resulted in another huge loss." -
Tortures I Suffered at the Changchun Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-03-06'Police sent me to division one. Guard Zhang Xiaohui, who was just transferred from division two, urged two 'collaborators' , to watch me constantly and never leave my side. They forced me to listen to them reading Wang Zhigang's anti-Dafa book. On the fifth day, when they saw I still would not give up Dafa, with encouragement from the guards, "collaborator" Jia Shimin dragged me to a toilet. About eight people pulled down my trousers and hit my hip with mop handles. I almost lost consciousness, felt nauseated and vomited. I could no longer keep my head straight and lost my ability to think rationally. They brought a notebook and pen and forced me to write something to renounce Falun Dafa against my will.' -
Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Guards Laugh While Torturing Practitioners
2006-03-02"In December, 2002, after a few months of being on a hunger strike, guards tied up my waist for a few hours, handcuffed both of my hands on my back, and tied both of my legs in the double lotus position for several hours continuously. As the time period was very long, my bones and muscles became excruciatingly painful - so painful that I screamed out loudly and lost consciousness. Policeman Zhang Chunguang shocked me with an electric baton so severely that my heart was twisting, both of my legs trembled, and I was dizzy. The pain was so bad that it seemed my heart had torn apart, while the police was laughing wholeheartedly." -
Practitioner Ms. Su Baoli Recounts 18 Unconstitutional Detentions
2006-03-01On July 20th, 1999, the wicked Chinese Communist Party started persecuting Falun Gong. That date marked the end of our peaceful life. In the past six years, hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners, including myself, have experienced unprecedented cruel persecution only because we persisted in our belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and being good people. Our families were broken up, and many of us were thrown into prison. I was detained 18 times in violation of the Chinese constitution, and my family was fined 43,500 yuan. I recently broke free from the latest incarceration and cannot put into words the amount of suffering I have gone through. -
Practitioner Ms. He Xiuling Was Tortured to Death in 2004; Her Husband Is Still Forbidden to See Her Body
2006-02-28"My wife, He Xiuling, persisted in Falun Dafa cultivation and for that she was tortured to death on March 11th, 2004. Those responsible were Communist regime agents from the 610 Office in the Yantai Police Department and others. Her body remains in frozen storage in a Yantai City funeral home. As of today, the unjust detention and murder of He Xiuling has not been investigated by the authorities, nor have the guilty parties been brought to justice." -

There have been many cases like this. My father found himself being deceived. Later, he managed to escape from the brainwashing centre. Fearing that I would escape too, they tightened their monitoring on me." -

2006-02-20"In early 2001, at Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp, we practitioners did the Falun Gong exercises as a group. The guards thought that I had organised the activity. They didn't treat me the same way they did other practitioners. The others were subjected to physical and verbal abuse, and handcuffed at will. They faked kindness towards me. This form of persecution is quite shameless, because while they lull you into trusting them, they persecute you. You are unaware of their true intention, and eventually they'll put you in a position where you feel better off dead than alive." -

The Police Beat and Injured Me Because I Read a Brochure
2006-02-18"At about 8 a.m. on March 3rd, 2004, four policemen rushed into my home. I was reading a brochure at the time. They took the brochure from my pocket and demanded to know where it came from. I told them that I picked it up outside. Right then and there all four of them became violent. Two of them caught me by my arms, one grabbed my hair, and the other one started to slap my face. They also searched my house. Without finding any incriminating evidence they forced me into their vehicle." -
Police Extort Twenty Thousand Yuan from an Elderly Couple in Yushu City, Jilin Province
2006-02-15"Just as we were feeling extremely fortunate that Falun Dafa had saved my life, the township police arrived at our door. It was March 7th, 2002. They searched the house looking for Falun Dafa books and DVDs. I was taken to Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp. The year of illegal detention cost my family more than 7,800 yuan. Later I was detained again. This time, my husband figured out a way to pay someone 11,600 yuan and bailed me out. The two detentions combined cost us 19,400 yuan, all of which my husband had to borrow." -
I Narrowly Escaped the Chinese Communist Party's Evil Persecution and Am a Witness to Its Crimes
2006-02-05"My name is Lu Changjing. I am 44 and live in Liaoning Province. My mother, Ms. Shi Shengying, was also a Falun Gong practitioner. She refused to give up Falun Gong and was persecuted to death. Her body is still at the Shengying Crematorium. I saw scars and wounds all over my mother's body and a bright-red fresh wound at her throat. Since I refused to give up Falun Gong as well, I suffered cruel torture and narrowly escaped death. I had to leave my home and family." -
In Memory of Fellow Practitioner Ms Zou Guirong
2006-01-31"Zou Guirong was had big eyes that shone in her round face and she smiled gently all the time. I remember the first time I met Zou Guirong; it was at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in February or March of 2000. The wicked guards at Masanjia stripped such a kind woman, poured cold water on her, and four or five female guards shocked her with electric batons, and said, "This is fun." However, Zou Guirong did not surrender to the torture, which lasted for more than four hours. All of the inhumane torture was conducted in secret. I witnessed that her body was covered with injures, black and purple all over." -
Young Female Practitioner: Tortures I Received from Police in Beijing
2006-01-27"In 2001 I unfurled a banner at Tiananmen Square. Several police officers appeared immediately and two of them twisted my arms behind my back and dragged me into a police van. I was sent to the Qianmen Police Station and locked away in a large jail cell. I refused to tell the police my name and address and was sent to another police station and tortured. Two of them tied a rope to my handcuffs and then used the rope to hang me up in the air in a garage. They also continuously kept pushing my head down. The weight of my whole body fell on my wrists and I felt agonising pain. They sealed my mouth so I could not make any noise. After I could not bear the torture any longer, I told them my address." -
How a Handicapped Child and Her Mother Suffered Persecution in Beijing
2006-01-27"I am a handicapped person with brain paralysis. Since practising Falun Dafa my physical condition and personal image improved a great deal. For that reason, mother and I did not hesitate about going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. On October 1st, 2001, mother and I went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Dafa and were arrested. Because we didn't tell them our names or address, the police locked us in a cage. One policeman said: "We'll have the CCTV's 'Focal Point' people broadcast a story about a woman with her child practising Falun Gong and that the normal child has become an idiot." Mother told me that police had beaten her in an effort to force her to tell them her name and address."
