  • The Seven Year Long Tragedy and Suffering of My Family

The persecution my husband suffered was just brutal. They began at the knees, whipping upward until they reached the neck and shoulders. Belt buckles were used to beat my husband's back. He was soaked in blood and sweat and his flesh was raw. The pain was unimaginable. Then they asked, "Do you still say you cultivate?" My husband answered "yes." Then, they continued to beat him brutally. My husband's entire back, buttocks, and thighs were one bloody mess. All flesh was exposed, and his entire body was covered with blood. The prisoner kicked my husband's left side very hard and his rib broke. The pain had passed the level he could tolerate. He had no other choice left and against his will, he said in a low voice, "Will not cultivate."
  • The Custodial Station and the Public Security Hospital in Beijing Repeatedly Drew My Blood for Testing and Analysis

Recently, the knowledge that organs have been harvested from live Falun Gong practitioners in the concentration camps in Mainland China was exposed. I recalled that, even as they brutally tortured me, they were still very concerned about my health. It was only because the officers in the Custodial Station wanted to harvest my organs that they made such painstaking efforts to treat me "well." I totally refused to cooperate with them. I resisted the force-feeding, the drug infusions, and the blood and urine testing. In this way I narrowly escaped being killed in the concentration camp.

  • Ms. Zhang Lixin's Persecution Experiences in the Jilin Women's Prison

My name is Zhang Lixin and I am 63 years old. I was a doctor. Because I practised Falun Gong, I was sentenced to ten years and detained in the Jilin Women's Prison from November 2002 up to today. The prison officials told me, "All Falun Gong practitioners who come here must write "three statements" (to renounce Falun Dafa). No sleep is allowed if these are not finished. If you still refuse to write, all prisoners will be forced to do long-term standing with you. You will be beaten and verbally abused by the prisoners until you write all three statements." I patiently told them, "Falun Gong teaches one to cultivate the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. We are innocent."
  • Where Are You, My Loved One? Part I

"Since March 2006, the secret Sujiatun death camp run by agents of the CCP was exposed, and the whole world was shocked. Since 2001, Thousands of practitioners were held at this camp. Most of them have had their hearts, kidneys, corneas and skin removed and sold for profit before they were taken to the crematorium to destroy the evidence! Sujiatun is only one of 36 camps in China. Investigation by the World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) shows that live organ harvesting and sale has happened and still is happening in many places in China including Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shandong Province, Liaoning Province and Guangdong Province."

  • An Unfinished Letter from Prison

They tried all sorts of things against practitioners in Jinan Women's Prison over the past several years. Once practitioners enter the prison, they are detained in the enforcement division first, and forced to write "three statements1" to give up the practice and defame Dafa. If they refuse, they are deprived of sleep and the use of the toilet. Food is also restricted. They are forced to squat, to stand for extended periods, or put into solitary confinement. Guards and inmates armed with sticks take turns to watch practitioners. When practitioners move a little bit, they are beaten. A practitioner was once forced to squat down for more than 40 days, and was unable to stand up afterwards.
  • Tianjin Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhang Xiangjun Persecuted Repeatedly

The police started cursing, "When the Chinese Communist Party says that you are wrong, you are wrong, even if you are not. We can tell you that our superiors have instructed us that if you are not 'transformed' ideologically, then you will be transformed by fire (cremation). Even if we kill you, you will die in vain, and we will get our bonus." Seduced by money and succumbing to orders from above, they started savagely torturing Zhang Xiangjun. They tied him to the tiger bench and used seven electric batons to shock him simultaneously.
  • Where Are You, Ms. Huang Xin?

This time it was her railway system employer that actively followed the CCP's persecution policies. Having not paid Ms. Huang her salary for a long time, her employer ordered her to return her already-issued salaries. When she arrived at her workplace, Public Security officers who had been waiting there for a long time immediately arrested her against her protests. She was then sent to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. There were stories that she was severely tortured, but later it was difficult to get any information about her from the prison.

  • Account of the Brutal Persecution I Suffered at the Hands of Officials at the Jilin Custodial Station

"My name is Li Cuiling. I went to visit a Falun Dafa practitioner and the police were in her home. They arrested us both. They sent us to the Jilin Custodial Station. During the three days I was detained there, I didn't eat or drink. I adopted the hunger strike method to show my protest. They force-fed me. Force-feeding is a very cruel torture method. I struggled very hard. The prison doctor, who wore leather shoes, kicked my face. They poured a thick saline water and corn flour solution down the tube. I felt nauseous and suffocated, and I vomited. They use this torture method to try to force Dafa students to give up their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance."
  • Interview with Charles Lee: CCP Stops at no Evil in Its Persecution of Falun Gong, Part 2

"They forced me to work, also a form of physical and emotional punishment. It is customary in Chinese prisons for the inmates to be subjected to forced labour. Detainees have to obey unconditionally, as refusal to obey would lead to immediate severe punishment. At first they didn't make me work because they wanted to make me give up my belief in Falun Gong by forcing me to attend brainwashing sessions. Later they saw that I was not going to give up my belief, so they tried to make me admit guilt and work along with the inmates. They said that all capable criminals must work. I didn't acknowledge the label "criminal," so I refused to work. They made me stand. If I moved they kicked me and verbally attacked and humiliated me in front of everyone."
  • Interview with Charles Lee: CCP Stops at No Evil in Its Persecution of Falun Gong Part I

After spending three years in Chinese prison, U.S. citizen Charles Lee returned to the United States last month. Commenting on his prison term, he said: "They used sleep deprivation for 92 hours to torture me. They also forced me to watch videos slandering Falun Gong and put handcuffs on me. An informer told me that they originally had wanted to charge me with practising Falun Gong. But, because I am a U.S. citizen, they concocted a story instead that I was going to "damage media equipment.""
  • Non-Practitioner's Eyewitness Account of the Atrocities Committed in the Jin City Prison

"Their treatment of practitioners was extremely brutal. They often verbally abused and assaulted practitioners. The practitioners often conducted hunger strikes against the persecution, so the prison guards ordered some of the most sadistic criminals to watch over the practitioners and force-feed them every two hours. They would continue the forced feedings even after the practitioners' stomachs were full. They used such methods to torture the practitioners until they were half dead."
  • Teeth Pried Open with a Crowbar, a Teacher is Brutally Force Fed

"Twice I was thrown into jail. Police used an iron rod to beat me, and my hands were handcuffed and my feet put in shackles. In addition, I was force-fed. Some guards held my hands and some my feet. Some held my head, some pinched my nose to block my breath, some pinched my neck repeatedly, some held my chest, and some used a crowbar to pry open my teeth. All my teeth were pried loose. The flesh in my mouth was torn and turned inside out. They then used the crowbar to force my mouth open horizontally, and then shoved it to the back of my throat to hold down my tongue. The pain was beyond description."
