Mr. Duan Yuanle from Sichuan Province Dies as a Result of Torture by Chongqing Police

Mr. Duan Yuanle, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was arrested by Chongqing Hechuan police officers because he produced leaflets exposing the persecution at home. The police beat and tortured Mr. Duan Yuanle, and then took him to Hechun Detention Centre and subjected him to four more months of torture, until he was paralysed and comatose. Mr. Duan died as a result of the torture on October 7th, 2006. -
Ms. Liu Yuli from Changchun City, Jilin Province Died in July 2006 as a Result of Torture and Long-Term Persecution
2007-02-17Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yuli went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa and was arrested and detained. She suffered from bladder and bowel incontinence due to being tortured with electric batons in the Heizuizi Labour Camp. There were huge blisters on her thighs as result of the torture. The guards would shock her as soon as she spoke her mind. Ms. Liu had bloody blisters all over her body for a long time. Ms. Liu died in July 2006 as a result of long-term persecution, at age 67. -
One Practitioner from Chongqing City and Another from Fuxin City Died from Torture Suffered in Detention
2007-02-16After the persecution began, Ms. Bai Shufen, 59 years old, was arrested and taken to the Fuxin County Detention Centre. The staff extorted money from her family when they visited. Ms. Bai was subjected to physical abuse, was put in solitary confinement, had her arms handcuffed behind her back, and was hung up by the handcuffs. The authorities tortured her with the tiger bench and other torture methods. Later she was transferred to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp, where she was injected with unknown drugs, with the intent to destroy her central nervous system. She also was shocked with electric batons and hung up. Ms. Bai became unconscious and died on November 15th 2006. -
Four Practitioners from Various Regions Died Due to the Persecution
2007-02-16Ms. Li Huiru was 55 years old. She started to practise Falun Gong in 1996. On March 6th, 2001, she was sentenced to two years of forced labour. When the police came to arrest her, they beat her so badly that her fingers were broken and the beating left a big swelling on her head. Her eyes were surrounded by blue and black bruises. After she was released on medical parole in 2001, she suffered a mental collapse. She died in early September of 2005. -
In Remembrance of Practitioner Mr. Yang Xiaojie from Shijiazhuang City

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Xiaojie was sentenced to 11 years in prison in 2002. On January 26th, 2006 Mr. Yang died as a result of inhuman torture at the age of 40. He left behind his 70-year old parents, his beloved daughter and wife of 13 to 14 years. His wife, Ms. Liu Runling, had been sentenced to 11 years imprisonment for practising Falun Dafa and she is now held at the Hebei Provincial Women's Prison. -
Additional Information Regarding Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Chengjun, Who Was Persecuted to Death in Jilin Prison
2007-02-14Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Chengjun was from Nongan County, Jilin Province. On March 5th, 2002, he went with fellow practitioners to broadcast facts about Falun Gong and the persecution on Changchun and Songyun TV stations. He was arrested and sentenced to nineteen years in prison and was held in Jilin Prison. He was subjected to all sorts of torture and passed away at 4:30 a.m. on December 26th, 2003. He was only 32 years old. In order to cover up the criminal act, the prison authorities cremated his body at 10:40 a.m. that morning without his family's consent. -
Ms. Wang Yufang Tortured to Death at Heizuizi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Changchun, Jilin Province
2007-02-09Ms. Wang Yufang, 53 years old, was arrested on August 9th, 2005, and her home was ransacked. She was taken to Changliu Detention Centre in Tonghua City and sentenced to three years of forced labour. She suffered cruel torture and brutal torment at Heizuizi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Changchun and was harmed physically and mentally. Ms. Wang could not eat or walk and was bedridden. She was close to death when she returned home. Her family took her to the Central Hospital. She was diagnosed with bile duct cancer and passed away on January 25th, 2007. -
Practitioner Mr. Mo Yongbing from Sichuan Province, Detained in Yongchuan Prison
2007-02-09In 2002, police officers broke into 60-year-old Mr. Mo Yongbing’s house and ransacked it. At that time, Mr. Mo did not feel well and was lying in bed. Wang Kaisheng ordered him to go to the police station with him. Two other officers then carried Mr. Mo out and pushed him into the police car. They took him to the detention centre. Wang Kaisheng ransacked Mr. Mo’s house and found 600 yuan in a book. At that time, only Mr. Mo’s wife was at home. She has been paralysed for many years and depended on her husband to take care of her. She lived under extreme torment. Three days later, she died. The police let Mr. Mo go home only after his wife had died. -
The Criminal Actions of Those Who Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners in Taiyuan City and Shanxi Province
2007-02-07Lu Ping, political director of Xindian Woman's Forced Labour Camp of Shanxi Province is the main person responsible for persecuting practitioners in the woman’s forced labour comp. Prison guards Liu Zhongmei, Leihongzhen, Meng Hao, and Chen Chunxiang are the most vicious in torturing practitioners. Liu Zhongmei even shouted out, "Our task is to torture you to death." -
List of Practitioners from Shanghai Who Died Due to Torture or Other Persecution Means
2007-02-07It's been eight years since the persecution began. The 610 Office in Shanghai has ordered the Procuratorate, judicial and legal institutes, the military, police, special agents, news media, psychiatric hospitals, local Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organisations, and residential commissions to participate in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. More than 30 practitioners in Shanghai have died as a result of persecution; numerous practitioners have been tortured and left physically disabled, suffered mental collapse, deteriorated mental health, job loss, and many have had no choice but to leave their homes. Their families have also suffered tremendous physical and mental anguish, as well as economic hardship. -
Practitioner Mr. Wang Lianqing from Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province Died as a Result of Persecution
2007-02-06Mr. Wang Lianqing went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. He was arrested by policemen and detained at the Muling Mine Security Office. Han Congjia (male), beat Mr. Wang brutally, to the point that he had a mental breakdown. Eighteen days later he was released, but he could not work or live normally. He was totally different from the compassionate, rational individual that he was before. No one knows what kind of torture he suffered when he was detained those eighteen days. Sometimes, when people wished to talk to him, he would not say anything and sealed his mouth. On July 18th, 2006, as he was walking along the street aimlessly, Mr. Wang Lianqing was hit by a car and died. -
Memories of My Fellow Practitioner Cheng Hanbo

I am a practitioner from Jiamusi who has been forced to be homeless. Today, I browsed the Minghui/Clearwisdom website and learned that Cheng Hanbo was persecuted to death. I can hardly believe this is true. I saw her picture and could not help crying. In 2001, I was detained in a forced labour camp. Around the end of September, practitioners were forced to sit and watch TV. I noticed Cheng Hanbo was also there. Our eyes met and we made a silent agreement not to cooperate with such a persecution. -
Practitioner Mr. Li Hai from Shandong Province Suffered Severe Persecution Before his Death
2007-02-04Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Hai suffered severe persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) before his death. Police fiercely attacked Mr. Li Hai's head in the police station. After this incident, he became absent-minded and depressed. He had no strength to work and was scared whenever he saw police officers or vehicles. His legs atrophied, and his health was getting worse and worse. He felt excruciating pain in his upper body and he would occasionally spit up blood. Due to a prolonged period of unjustified harassment, threats, extortion, and torture, Mr. Li Hai died on January 24th, 2003 at his home at the age of 67. -
Postgraduate Student Ms. Lin Tiemei Persecuted to Death at 33 by Guangxi Labour Re-education Camp and Guangxi Mental Institution
2007-02-04Guangxi Falun Dafa practitioner and postgraduate student Ms. Lin Tiemei died as a result of persecution on December 8th, 2005. Guangxi Labour Re-education Camp and Guangxi Demobilised and Retired Serviceman Hospital (Mental Institution) are responsible for her death. She was 33 years old. Because she firmly believed in Falun Dafa and refused to be "transformed," [brainwashed] she suffered inhuman torture at the labour camp. The death report from the hospital described Lin Tiemei's death as "sudden death." Three other practitioners have been persecuted to death at the same hospital before Lin Tiemei. -
Serious Crimes Committed at Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2007-02-04One day guard Zhao Shuang started brutally beating practitioner Mr. Sun Hongda for his "wrong eye expression." Guard Wang Fuhai viciously shocked Sun Hongda on his head, mouth, back of his head, face, and neck, which badly burned Mr. Sun's tongue, and he had difficulty eating for several months. While Sun Hongda was held on the ground by five or six prisoners, guard Zhao Shuang rode on the top of Sun and tortured him, pushing and pulling him. This made Sun Hongda suffer extreme pain in all his joints, and he had difficulty moving around for several days. The deputy head of the labour camp witnessed the torture but walked away as if nothing had happened. Zhao Shuang also brutally slapped Sun Hongda's face, which caused Sun to lose hearing in his left ear for several days.
