Frenzied Beating Causes Death of Elderly Sichuan Province Dafa Practitioner Mr. Xia Wei
2004-09-17Since July 19, 1999, 56-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xia Wei and his wife Deng Zhongqin from Sichuan Province were cruelly persecuted because they persisted in their practice of Dafa. On July 19, 2000, Xia Wei was abducted by the police and beaten unconscious. After that he suffered with symptoms such as frequently vomiting blood, chest pain and dizziness. Under the long period of persecution and harassment, he died on November 12, 2001. His wife was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labour -
Belated News: A Female Falun Dafa Practitioner Died in Detention in 2002 in Shandong Province
2004-09-17Around 2002, police from Weifang City, Shandong Province abducted a female Falun Dafa practitioner and took her to a Detention Centre. She refused to tell the police her name and address and went on a hunger strike to protest against this illegal persecution. The inhuman police knew that the practitioner had heart disease, yet they still tortured her by brutally force-feeding her. After 13 days of being on a hunger strike, this practitioner passed away unjustly, in a place far away from her hometown. The practitioner was around 30 years old. Her family might not even know about her death. -
Details Regarding the Death of Dafa Practitioner Mr Bai Wanling from Xinjiang Province
2004-09-16Ms Bai Wanling was a 39-year-old Dafa practitioner from Xinjiang Province. Both her parents, also Dafa practitioners were persecuted to death and Bai Wanling suffered terribly in a labour camp. After both of her parents were persecuted to death, the police kept harassing Bai Wanling's brother and sister-in-law every day. They deceived the couple into going to a brainwashing class and detained them there. In May 2004, Bai's family sent her to a hospital to be treated. However she passed away on May 31 2004. -
Hanging Torture Leaves Many Practitioners With Crippled Hands at Huhhot Women's Forced Labour Camp
2004-09-15The authorities at Huhhot Women's Forced Labour Camp have adopted many inhumane measures to torment determined Falun Dafa practitioners. Ms. Zhou Caixia was tortured to death at the Huhhot Women's Labour Camp. Her hands were crippled as a result of this hanging torture before she died. In addition, she was force-fed with lime (calcium carbonate), which burned the lining of her stomach. She was finally driven to madness from pain. -
The Death of Elderly Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Hai in Shandong Province
2004-09-14Mr. Li Hai was a 69 year old Dafa practitioner who lived in Shandong Province. When his son, a determined Falun Dafa practitioner, was detained, Li Hai lost his means of support. The authorities constantly harassed and extorted money from him, forcing him to sell his only cow and his peanuts and other crops. Li Hai suffered terribly under the long-term persecution, threats, terror and extortion. He passed away on December 23, 2002. -

Complaint Filed in the Torture Death of Mr. Liu Yufeng from Wendeng City
2004-09-14On July 22, 2000, around 9:00 p.m., the fourth day of 65 year old Mr. Liu's unlawful detention, the Wendeng City Police Department notified Mr. Liu's family to come and get him. His family found Mr. Liu at death's door and they noticed wounds all over his body. He could not move and was disfigured. It was heartrending to see him suffering like this! They carried him to a taxi and took him home. On July 23, the following day, Mr. Liu died. -
Liaoning Province Authorities Claim Mr Cui Zhilin Commits Suicide Yet Forensic Exam Shows Evidence of Brutal Beating
2004-09-13Mr. Cui Zhilin was a 43-year-old resident of North Fuxin City. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison yet still kept on practising Dafa. On August 5, 2004, his family was suddenly informed that he had jumped out of a building. When his family arrived, Cui was found lying in the reposing room, but the prison authorities could not show any evidence that Cui had committed suicide by jumping out of a building. At the strong insistence of his family, forensic doctors were called in to check the body. That was when his family first found that Mr. Cui's body was full of injuries caused by beating, and he had been reduced to only skin and bones. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Guan Wenjiang Is Tortured to Death in Shenyang City Prison
2004-09-12Mr. Guan Wenjiang was a Falun Gong practitioner in his thirties from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. The Dengta City Court unjustly sentenced Mr. Guan to thirteen years in prison for refusing to give up his belief in Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance. Whilst Guan Wenjiang was detained in a Detention Centre, he was subjected to torture that resulted in his ears being disfigured. Torture continued until he died in prison on August 5, 2004. -
Persecution and Brainwashing Lead to the Tragic Death of a PhD Student from Southwest Petroleum College
2004-09-12Ms Duan Qiuzhe was an excellent Ph.D. student, both academically and morally, from the Southwest Petroleum College. After July 20, 1999, because she appealed for Falun Gong, she was dismissed from her studies. In the end, Duan Qiuzhe gave up her belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." She turned against Dafa and harmed practitioners in exchange for being permitted to continue to study in college. Shortly after returning to college, she contracted liver disease and later passed away. She was yet another victim of the vicious persecution that seeks to destroy one's inner being and beliefs. -
Death of Hebei Province Dafa Practitioner Mr. Ma Changbin in 2001 and Arrest of His Wife
2004-09-11Mr. Ma Changbin, 57 years old, was a retired worker who lived in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. He was illegally incarcerated in October 2000, and was released in February 2001. During the incarceration he was physically tortured and mentally tormented. Medical intervention failed to cure him and he died in May 2001. In May 2004, people from the "610 Office" arrested Ma Changbin's wife, Xu Ruilan, from home and sent her to the Kaiping Forced Labour Camp without following any legal proceedings. -
59 year old Dafa Practitioner Mr. Fei Yinshan Dies From Mental Trauma under the Persecution
2004-09-11Dafa practitioner Mr. Fei Yinshan from Huangmei County, Hubei Province distributed truth clarification materials in the local area and was harassed by police. Fei Yinshan had congenital heart disease. He had a relapse precipitated by constant harassment and fright from the authorities, and died. After his death, Fei Yinshan's wife and mother cried and said, "The police station killed my Yinshan!" -
Shanxi Prison Claim Mr Liu Zhibin Dies from "Heart Attack" Yet Family Witness Torture Wounds On Body
2004-09-10Mr. Liu Zhibin, 50 years old, was a small business owner in Shanxi Province. He had been detained many times for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. In July 2002 he was sentenced to four years in prison and died in Shanxi Provincial Prison on July 20, 2004. His family was notified that he had died of a heart attack. But when his family saw his body, they found it covered with wounds. Handcuff marks were clearly visible on his wrists, as were many scars from electric batons and wounds from cruel beatings. In the end, prison officials tried to pay his family off with a sum of money. -
Police in Henan Province Abort a 9-Month Foetus
2004-09-10Falun Dafa practitioner Song Zhenling from Henan Province and his wife Wang Guijin are both in their 30's. They have both been detained and tortured badly. When Ms Wang was pregnant, police inhumanely pressed down on her belly, forcing her 9 month old foetus to abort and killing the baby in the process. Ms. Wang was put under 24 hour a day monitoring by 4 policemen.
