It has been said that the documents Wang Lijun turned in when seeking asylum at the United States Embassy in Chengdu City included evidence of Bo Xilai’s orders to harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Other evidence revealing the roles of Wang Lijun, Bo Xilai, and Zhou Yongkang in persecuting practitioners and taking part in the harvesting of organs from living practitioners was also reported by overseas media. -
Disabled Older Man from Huai'an, Jiangsu Province Dies after Thirteen Years of Persecution
2012-05-03Mr. Dai Mingxuan and his wife, Ms. Lin Fengying have been persecuted for thirteen years because they practise Falun Gong. Agents from the local 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) continually harassed the couple, and their home was ransacked at least ten times a year. Ms. Lin was arrested three times and sentenced twice. Mr. Dai, who was physically disabled, depended upon his wife to help him with his daily needs, and life became extremely difficult for him when she was incarcerated. Mr. Dai's health suffered under the intense pressure of the persecution. He died on March 15th, 2012. -
After Falun Gong Cured Ms. Zhou Guilan of Lung Cancer, the Heilongjiang Province 610 Office Persecuted Her to Death
2012-04-26Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhou Guilan was arrested by officers from the Beilin District 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) on September 15th, 2011. After being sentenced to three and a half years in prison, she filed an appeal and sued the Suihua 610 Office over this injustice. Her family hired an attorney to defend her, but before a second trial date was set, she died in a detention centre on March 29th, 2012. -
The Involvement of Bo Xilai and Wang Lijun in Live Organ Harvesting Crimes
2012-04-24The recent events surrounding Wang Lixun and Bo Xilai have provided major clues into the crimes of harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Bo and Wang are two of the main suspects implicated in the crimes of live organ harvesting. According to a U.S. official with knowledge of the situation, the documents that Wang Lijun submitted to the U.S. Consulate included a section of great value which contains relevant evidence on how Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang have been involved in organ harvesting. -
Mr. Lin Wenhui from Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, Dies After Being Abused in a Forced Labour Camp
2012-04-23Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Lin Wenhui was subjected to long term incarceration by the authorities. Before the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he was taken to a forced labour camp in Inner Mongolia and detained for two years. Shortly after his release, he was arrested again and taken to another forced labour camp. He was diagnosed with liver ascites. The camp authorities didn't want to be held responsible for his condition and released him on medical parole. Mr. Lin died on March 10th, 2012. -
World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong Publishes Case Report of Conversation with Witness to Organ Harvesting
2012-04-22A female Falun Gong practitioner in her 30s had wounds and scars covering her entire body, after one week of severe torment and forced food intake. On April 9th, 2002, a certain office of the Public Security Bureau of Liaoning province sent two military surgeons. They transferred this practitioner to another place. Under the circumstances that this female practitioner was fully conscious, without using any anesthetics, they harvested her heart, kidneys and other organs. The witness was an armed police guard by that time and witnessed the entire process of live organ harvesting. -
Outstanding Police Officer Xu Langzhou from Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province Dies in Prison Under Suspicious Circumstances
2012-04-19Mr. Xu Langzhou, a police officer from Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, began to practise Falun Gong in 1994. After he began practising, each year he was recognised by being given the Outstanding Police Officer award by his department. The Panzhihua City TV station even did a feature story on him. However, after the persecution of Falun Gong began by the communist regime, Mr. Xu was sentenced to two years of forced labour. He was later sentenced to eight years of imprisonment and tortured in many prisons. After suffering years of severe persecution while in detention, Mr. Xu died on March 18th, 2012 in a prison hospital. He was 39. Further details of his death are still under investigation. -
Newspaper Report Claims Pilot Organ Donation Programme in Major Chinese City Receives Exactly Zero Organ Donations in First Year - So Where Do the Organs for China's Huge Organ Transplant Business Come From?
2012-04-18According to a February 25th, 2011 Yangzi Evening News article, Nanjing City Organ Donation Pilot Programme held a press conference saying that there have been exactly zero organ donations for the whole year since Nanjing became one of the ten organ donation pilot cities last March. In fact, over the past twenty years, there have been only three organ donations reported in Nanjing, a city of millions of people. Organ transplantation is a huge business in China today, but just who exactly is donating the organs if they're not coming into organ donation programmes like the one in Nanjing? A retired military doctor revealed on April 30th, 2006 the official flowchart of live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners and pointed out that the military is directly involved in the organ trade. -
Older Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Qu Chengye Dies as a Result of Abuse in Jinzhou Prison
2012-04-15Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Qu Chengye died at the age of 58 in Jinzhou Prison on March 20th, 2012. In February 2008, the Jinzhou City Police Department organised a large scale arrest of Falun Gong practitioners. More than 30 police officers climbed a wall and broke into Mr. Qu Chengye's home. They arrested Mr. Qu and ransacked his home. Mr. Qu was taken to Jinzhou No. 1 Detention Centre. The Taihe District Court in Jinzhou sentenced Mr. Qu to six years in prison. Mr. Qu suffered from a stroke. Mr. Qu's family made several requests to have him released on medical parole, but the prison authorities ignored their requests. -
Background on Testimony from Police Officer Who Witnessed Organ Harvesting
2012-04-12On December 12th, 2009, the World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) published testimony of an eyewitness to organ harvesting from a living Falun Gong practitioner. The witness at the time worked in the public security system of Liaoning Province in northeastern China. On April 9th, 2002, he was on duty as an armed guard in the operating room of the General Hospital of the Shenyang Military Region, and he witnessed the entire process of two military surgeons harvesting organs from a living female Falun Gong practitioner. This testimony is a new development in exposing live organ harvesting. -
Organ Transplant Investigation: Zhongshan Hospital Carried Out 1000 Living-Donor Liver Transplants in 10 Years, and other Leads
2012-04-10On August 1st, 2011, Xuhui Newspaper published a report: From 2001 to August 1st, 2011, in ten years, Zhongshan Hospital's liver surgery section performed 1000 living-donor liver transplants. The source of the organs used in Zhongshan Hospital's liver transplants is suspicious. It is known that the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners was most rampant in 2001. Under the regime's genocidal policy where “beating to death counts as suicide and the bodies are directly cremated without informing family members”, police and doctors nationwide were enticed to perform live organ harvesting for huge profits. As more evidence of the regime's live harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners is exposed, further investigations will be conducted on each case of live organ harvesting. -
Mr. Li Xilu, 58, Dies as a Result of Torture in Xinmi Prison, Zhengzhou City
2012-04-08Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Xilu was sentenced to three years in prison in March 2011. The police took him to the Xinmi Prison and then notified his family. Mr. Li died at the age of 58 on March 9th, 2012 in the Ninth Prison District in Xinmi Prison. The details about the persecution he suffered are under investigation. On March 9th, his family received a notice from the prison authorities saying that Mr. Li was in critical condition. When the family arrived, Mr. Li had already died. The prison authorities were still pretending to rescue him, claiming that Mr. Li had high blood pressure and diabetes. In an attempt to destroy the evidence at the earliest time, they took the initiative to help the family go through the procedures of cremation. -
Older Dalian Practitioner Mr. Zhao Fei Dies after Ten Years of Persecution
2012-04-06Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhao Fei was sentenced to forced labour three times, detained five times and taken to a brainwashing centre once. At Masanjia Forced Labour Camp, he was severely tortured until his life was in imminent danger. After he returned home, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials constantly harassed him. He was also summoned several times to court in September 2010. To avoid further persecution, he was forced to leave home. After more than ten years of being tortured, harassed and/or detained, he passed away on December 31st, 2011 at the age of 54. -
Elderly Ms. Zhou Suqiong from Jintang County, Chengdu City, Dies after Being Tortured in Custody
2012-04-05Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhou Suqiong, 74, received a notice from the Shuicheng Police Station on October 27th, 2011, saying that she should go to the police station to have her photo taken for a new identification card. At 11:00 p.m. that day, police notified Ms. Zhou's son to get Ms. Zhou, who was in a coma. But the officer lied, saying, “She is asleep. Don't wake her up.” Ms. Zhou's son carried his mother home. The next morning, Ms. Zhou didn't wake up. They then found bruises on her back, adhesive tape on her chest, and excrement in her mouth. Her son realized that he had been deceived and took his mother right away to hospital. Ms. Zhou passed away on February 8th, 2012. Her family did not dare talk to other Falun Gong practitioners about the situation due to the authorities' threats and financial restrictions. -
Grandma Wang’s Tears
2012-04-04Grandma Wang had a happy life before 1999. Since July 20th, 1999 when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Gong, Grandma Wang’s second daughter lost her life as a result of the persecution; her son-in-law was sentenced to eight years in prison; her grandson was sent to one and a half years of forced labour, and was later sentenced to twelve years in prison; her third daughter was sentenced to eight years in prison and her third son-in-law was sent to forced labour for two years. He was later sentenced to twelve years of imprisonment and died as a result of the persecution. Her youngest son was sent to forced labour for one and a half years and was later sentenced to ten years in prison, where he suffered a mental collapse.
