Officials Refuse to Release Mr. Liu Guihan, Who is Now in Ill Health after Arrest, Detention and Sentencing to Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp

65-year-old practitioner Mr. Liu Guihan was detained in the Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp on the same day that he was sentenced. On August 16th, 2006, the Shunyi Public Security Bureau sentenced Mr.. Liu Guihan to two years of forced labour. At that time, he had already been detained for more than three months, exceeding the time limit of detention by nearly two-and-a-half months. At this time, Mr. Liu suffered symptoms of severe high blood pressure, yet the forced labour camp refused to release this nearly 70-year-old man because he did not sign a Guarantee Statement to renounce his faith in Falun Gong. -
Organ Harvesting an Outgrowth of the Persecution of Falun Gong
2006-11-10Using the guise of physical exams for health reasons and other deceitful methods, the Chinese Communist Party conduct blood tests of Falun Gong practitioners in detention and establish blood sample data banks. When a patient needs a transplant they enter the patient's blood data into a computer, and when the blood type matches a Falun Gong practitioner in the database the practitioner is confirmed as the donor. According to insiders, it goes something like this: Falun Gong practitioners who are confirmed as organ donors are brought out of the prison and lose their names. They are given a code name; this code name is actually the name of a fabricated "volunteer" who voluntarily donates the organ. The practitioner is sent for a "physical exam" and anaesthetised, and then the organ is removed and transplanted into the body of the patient. -
Practitioner Mr. Liu Feng Beaten Three Times at Zhongyi Police Station in Macheng, Hubei Province
2006-11-10Practitioner Mr. Liu Feng was arrested by several police officers who stopped their car in the middle of the road and jumped out to apprehend him on June 1st, 2006. They took him to the police station. Jin Xiujian, deputy police chief, fiercely hit Mr. Liu’s back and feet, including his toes, with a plastic club. Many people witnessed this beating. Mr. Liu Feng returned to the police station to apply for an ID card on July 28th. Four people, some uniformed and others of unknown identity, savagely beat him again. Mr. Liu suffered severe pain in the lower back and kidney region, and blood gushed from his mouth. -
Mr. Qian Dongcai, 48, from Shandong Province Dies as a Result of Persecution in 2005
2006-11-09Falun Dafa practitioner Qian Dongcai was arrested in 2003 and detained in a detention centre until he was sentenced in 2005 and taken to Jinan Prison. About 20 days later, on February 4th, 2005, he died as a result of persecution by staff from Internal Medicine in the Emergency Unit at Jinan Central Hospital. The "Patient Diagnostic Certificate" read "sudden death" in the "examination result" column. Detailed information as to how Qian was persecuted to death will be investigated. -
Mr. Zhou Yongbing from Hunan Province Suffers Mental Breakdown After Being Injected with Toxic Drugs in the Xinkaipu Forced Labour Camp
2006-11-09Mr. Zhou Yongbing suffered a mental breakdown on September 30th, 2006 from persecution in Xinkaipu Forced Labour Camp. The guards contacted his family and sent him home. When his family members saw him, he could not recognise his parents, but only called out his wife's name. He could not stand, could not talk normally, threw things all over the place, and his hands were flailing around everywhere nonstop. There were rope marks on his body, indicating that he had been tied up. There were cigarette burn scars on his hands. -
Exposing the Forced Slavery in Liaoning Provincial Women's Prison
2006-11-09There are more than five hundred Falun Gong practitioners detained in Liaoning Provincial Women's Prison. They are forced to do long periods of slave labour. Some do nine to ten months of forced labour in one year, and they are made to work seventeen to twenty hours per day. The prison only allowed prisoners detained there to rest for one day per year. The police secretly order prisoners to bully practitioners who refuse to "transform". One practitioner refused to "transform," so the police froze her bank account and forbade her from using money and no other prisoners were allowed to give her any food or daily necessities. -
The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Tianshui City, Gansu Province
2006-11-09Practitioner Huang Zhili was the victim of police beatings that left him with severe injuries from which he later died. Mr. Huang, age 53, went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. After his return, a villager reported him to the police. Local police arrested Mr. Huang in 2001. He was unlawfully detained. During the interrogation, the police attempted to force Huang Zhili to give up cultivation. The police beat him brutally and he was tortured to the brink of death. The police were afraid of taking responsibility for Mr. Huang's condition, and drove him back home in a police vehicle. The injuries were too severe however, and he missed critical treatment time. Two days later, Huang Zhili passed away at home. -
Mr. Wang Zhankun from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is Tortured to the Brink of Death
2006-11-08Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Zhankun was arrested on October 9th, 2006, and has now been tortured to the brink of death. According to the doctor, his liver and kidneys have failed, and his corneas looked jaundiced. If he does not receive medical treatment, his life is in peril. Rushing to the hospital, Mr. Wang's wife was agonisingly aware that her husband's physical changes made him difficult to recognise. He was skeleton-like and in a coma. His mouth was full of pus and blood. He was handcuffed and could not speak. -
Police in Huadian City, Jilin Province Arrested and Sentenced Practitioners to "Crack Down on Crime"
2006-11-08Police have been given quotas and the task of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners to prevent cable TV programmes from being tapped. Their orders were, "Rather wrongly arrest than mistakenly release," "This 'crackdown on crime' will end with many arrests and sentences," and "Once caught, they can't be released." Police arrested a 70-year-old lady, who could barely read, accusing her of being involved in cable TV tapping, yet the charges were fabricated. -
Husband and Wife Practitioners Arrested in Hebei Province
2006-11-08In the summer of 2006, a plainclothes police officer rented Mr. Wang Jiangen's motorcycle, and Mr. Wang told him the facts about Falun Dafa. The officer pretended to be sympathetic and understanding and obtained Mr. Wang's personal information by taking advantage of his trust. Later, police took Mr. Wang to the police station, locked him in the interrogation room, and beat him mercilessly. They then forced him to return home and ransacked his house. They also arrested his wife and held her separately. -
Crimes Committed in the Xishanping Forced Labour Camp in Chongqing City
2006-11-08On February 15th, 2006, cell leader Fu Yaqiang (male, a drug addict) had the cell gate closed and threatened practitioner Mr. Bai Tianshi, "Are you going to write the "Three Statements" today?" Mr. Bai replied, "No." Fu shouted, "If you do not write them, you will suffer today!" Several other drug addict prisoners picked up Mr. Bai, and tied his ankles to the bed posts, draping him backwards with his buttocks resting on a stool. Fu shouted again, "Are you going to write them?" Mr. Bai replied, No!" Fu said, "Since you refuse to write, I will have you experience the 'native airplane!'" -
Urgent Call to Rescue Mr. Wang Zhankun in Inner Mongolia
2006-11-07Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Zhankun was arrested around October 9th, 2006, while speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa and exposing the persecution. Mr. Wang Zhankun went on a 16-day hunger strike to protest. He was force-fed multiple times. Finally, he could not walk or take care of himself due to the torture, and he was admitted to the Police Hospital when he was dying. Police notified his family on October 28th, 2006. When Mr. Wang's wife rushed to the hospital, she saw that he was as thin as a skeleton, passed out, and was vomiting bloody stuff. He could not talk, but he was still handcuffed, and his ankles were shackled. Both of his feet were swollen, and it seemed like he was about to die any second. -
Dafa Practitioners Persecuted at the Brainwashing Centre in the Dalian Huanbao Guest House of Liaoning Province
2006-11-07The brainwashing centre forces practitioners to watch videos and recordings slandering Dafa, and uses former practitioners that have turned against Dafa. One such former practitioner is Miao Chunyan, who has come up with all kinds of phony theories to try to confuse and drag down true practitioners. Every morning, two of the people from each room report their progress to the leaders. As long as practitioners do not write the "four statements", they are not released. If over time the practitioners still do not give in, they are physically abused, sent to prison, or sent to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. Sometimes the practitioners are sent back to the brainwashing centre to be further tortured. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Xu Suyun from Hebei Province Arrested and Imprisoned in a Labour Camp
2006-11-07On June 8th, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Suyun went to the Fengdao Police Station to ask for the release of another practitioner unjustly imprisoned there. For this she was detained for 15 days. After she was released on the afternoon of June 22nd, she was arrested again only one hour after she arrived home. She was then sentenced to one and a half years of forced labour and was taken to the Kaiping Women's Forced Labour Camp. Her family members were cruelly beaten by the police for seeking her release. -
How Practitioners Are Tortured in the Nanhu Forced Labour Camp in Anhui Province
2006-11-07The Nanhu Forced Labour Camp is one of the primary places in Anhui province where Falun Dafa practitioners are persecuted. Many Falun Gong practitioners from Anhui province were sent to this camp for illegal forced labour. Some practitioners lost their lives here due to torture and forced labour. Mr. Yang Haisheng was sent to the "adjusting" team in 2004. Because he practised the Falun Dafa exercises at night, he was confined and inhumanly tortured.
