After Meeting with Vice Chairman of European Parliament, Mr. Cao Dong Is Secretly Arrested and Transfered to Gansu Province

Because of the meeting with Vice Chairman Edward McMillan-Scott, one of the six members of the of the European Parliament (MEP), Mr. Cao Dong, a Falun Gong practitioner from Beijing, was secretly arrested and imprisoned in a detention centre in his hometown in the Gansu Province. On September 29th, 2006, the Chinese police issued an arrest warrant, claiming that Mr. Cao produced Falun Gong materials. It is quite evident that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its accomplices deliberately concealed the true reason for the arrest and the location where Mr. Cao is imprisoned for fear of international condemnation. -
Details of the Death of Mr. Xiao Peng, 30, from Liaoning Province and the Persecution of Whole Family

Falun Gong practitioner Xiao Peng suffered brutal torture for eighteen months in Jinzhou City Forced Labour Camp. These tortures included electric shocks, brutal beatings, being detained in a consolidated compartment, being tied on the death bed, being forced to stand straight for a long time, intensive labour and more. Xiao Peng suffered a mental collapse, so the labour camp sent him home. On June 9th, 2002 he died at the age of 30. -
Practitioner Mr. Hou Zhen'an from Jiamusi Passed Away after His Entire Family Was Persecuted
2006-10-31Mr. Hou Zhen'an, 71 years old, was repeatedly persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) because he refused to renounce Falun Dafa and exposed the persecution and told people the facts of Falun Dafa. In June 2003, police found leaflets exposing the persecution in Mr. Hou's home and he was imprisoned in a tiny cage. His family also were arrested. The long term harassment, arrests, and threats took a tremendous psychological and physical toll on Mr. Hou, and he passed away on September 30th, 2006. -
The Persecution of a Peasant Woman in Tianjin City
2006-10-3163-year-old practitioner Ms. Li Qinglian repeatedly appealed for justice for Falun Dafa and was detained several times. Police applied all types of means to physically torture her to force her to renounce Dafa. On In June 2001 she was taken to the Jianxin Forced Labour Camp, where they tried all types of brutal torture methods, such as beating, cursing, strenuous physical labour, as well as other types of corporal punishment. By March 2003, Ms. Li Qinglian suffered from hypertension, and on March 18th, she had a stroke. Ms. Li has become handicapped due to the severe torture and can no longer take care of herself. -
Supplementary Information Regarding the Death of Wen Yingxin
2006-10-31On August 7th, 2006, Wen Yingxin was reported to the authorities when he was posting Falun Gong materials and arrested. He went on a hunger strike to protest. From August 8th to August 16th, he was force-fed in the Shenyang City Detention Centre and then in a critical condition he was sent to hospital and passed away. The Shenyang City Detention Centre, the Xiaobei Police Station, and the No. 739 Hospital refused to give his family a Medical Certificate. The detention centre authorities claimed that Wen Yingxin died in the hospital, so they do not bear any responsibility. -

After tapping into cable TV in Changchun City to broadcast a video exposing the persecution was successfully done in 2002 by practitioners in Changchun, Mr. Zhang Zhong was arrested in April 2002 and sentenced to ten years in prison and detained in the Daqing City Prison until July 2002, where he went through inhuman tortures. Later he was arrested again. He died on October 16th, 2006, in the Harbin City Police Hospital. -
A Falun Dafa Practitioner's Wife Tearfully Exposes the Persecution of Her Husband
2006-10-30In 1999, Jiang Zemin and the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong for no justifiable reasons. My husband was repeatedly called into the local police station. The local police and the 610 Office all wanted him to give up the practice. He refused. Because he refused, he was taken to the Brainwashing Centre by the 610 Office. At that time, they forced him to write the so-called Three Statements. Later he was arrested again and taken to prison. Several thugs beat him until he started to spit blood. -
The Torture Experienced by Practitioner Ms. Zhang Sufang from Henan Province
2006-10-30I went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing three separate times. I was immediately taken to the Chaoyang District Detention Centre, where I suffered from all types of torture. The guards ordered four criminals to beat me and to rip off my clothes. Only my underclothes were left on. Then they punched and kicked me while wearing their leather shoes for more than three hours. My whole body was black and blue. I was spitting up blood, and I fell on the ground. I was also force-fed with pepper water. -
Ms Li Guiqin Tortured in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province
2006-10-30On October 30th, 2002, Ms. Li Guiqin was sentenced to three years of forced labour and was taken to Jiamusi City Labour Camp. In 2003, the authorities tortured her in an attempt to force Ms. Li to write the "four statements." On February 17th, 2004, Ms. Li was locked with cuffs for four days and three nights. Guards kicked Ms. Li's face with their heavy leather boots. Two of Ms. Li's incisors were knocked out at that time and three teeth became loose from the kicks. There was blood everywhere on the ground and on her body. Her term was extended without any reason. -
120 Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained in Lanzhou Prison Hold Group Hunger Strike
2006-10-30Guards at the Lanzhou Prison have intensified the persecution of practitioners. They force all practitioners to write so called "critique reports" monthly. If a practitioner refuses, they forge the report and forcibly apply the practitioner's fingerprints to the document. To protest, 120 practitioners went on a group hunger strike on September 26th. They have become very weak and guards refused family visits this month. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Chen Suxiang Tortured to Death - Family Threatened Upon Seeking Justice
2006-10-29On September 12th, 2006, practitioner Chen Suxiang was arrested and officers took her to the Kaiping Police Station. They chained her hands and feet with handcuffs and shackles and tortured her for twenty four hours. Chen Suxiang died the next day, on September 13th. Chen Suxiang's mother went to the Kaiping Police Station to appeal for justice but nobody admitted guilt and only offered her 40,000 yuan bribe, which she refused. Next, Chen Suxiang's family visited the Kaiping Procuratorate asking for justice. The family was told that the Kaiping Police Station did nothing wrong when executing its law enforcement. -
Mr. Miao Shujun Suffered Torture at Suihua Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province
2006-10-29Mr. Miao Shujun was arrested at home by police. His wife asked the police to release her husband as he had committed no crime. Policeman Zhou said, "He was reported for spreading Falun Gong." When she visited her husband Miao Shujun told her, "On September 22nd, I was subjected to beatings.I have headaches, feel dizzy and have severe pains in my chest. I throw up anything I eat. It's becoming worse and worse." -
A Practitioner in Her 80s Sent to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province for Refusing to Give up Her Belief
2006-10-29Mrs. Niu is in her 80s. Recently, she was arrested by the 610 Office and taken to the Taian Brainwashing Centre. Because she refused to stop cultivating Falun Dafa, she was sent to the notorious Wangcun Forced Labour Camp. An 80-year-old woman has been arrested and persecuted at a brainwashing centre and is now being sent to a forced labour camp. These inhumane and unlawful acts demonstrate the insanity of the Chinese Communist Party. -
Older Practitioner Ms. Li Qiuling Dies as a Result of Persecution
2006-10-29Ms. Li Qiuling was over 60 years old. In May 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. The Beijing police took all of her cash, and she was taken to the local police station by officers in Beijing. After she was brutally beaten at the police station, she was taken to a detention centre and detained for a month. During this time, police from the Langfang City Department, along with her employer, broke into her house and stole 1,000 yuan without a warrant. Later she was she was tortured at the labour camp and fined another 7,000 yuan. After she returned from the labour camp, her health deteriorated, and she passed away in September, 2006. -
My Experience of Being Arrested, Imprisoned and Force-fed: Written in a Detention Centre by Practitioner Liu Yu from Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province
2006-10-28Ms. Liu Yu was detained in a detention centre and went on a hunger strike to protest. She recounts,"A doctor used ropes to tie my four limbs. He also shouted, "I want to hear the pig cries when we slaughter it." I used all my strength to resist, but I was not able to deal with so many people. I was then savagely force-fed. Two nurses inserted a plastic tube into my nose. The tube touched my throat and I shook violently from the discomfort. Both my throat and stomach were in great pain from the tube insertion. I felt humiliated and injured. All of my limbs were numb, as I was not able to move at all. They kept moving the tube up and down inside my stomach."
