The Persecution of Practitioners in the Yunnan Second Labour Camp

After 2004, the authorities at the Yunnan Second Labour Camp implemented unscrupulous persecution against the Falun Dafa practitioners detained there. Many of them were tortured, and those who refused to accept brainwashing had their sentences extended for more than half a year. They also used a heavy workload to persecute the detained practitioners, forcing them to do hard labour more than 15 hours a day, working them beyond human capacity. As a result, many practitioners’ hands and feet were terribly swollen. -
Heilongjiang Provincial Women's Prison Prohibits Visits of Falun Dafa Practitioners' Family Members
2006-07-10Starting April 14th, 2006, the Heilongjiang Provincial Women's Prison reorganized the detained Falun Dafa practitioners, and cancelled the "training centre unit" where the steadfast practitioners were imprisoned. They transferred practitioners to other prison areas individually, isolating them so that each prison cell had only one practitioner. Since May 5th, the Heilongjiang Province Judicial Department and the prison administrative bureau issued a notice prohibiting family members from visiting the prison. -
Exposing the Wrongdoings of Policeman Zhao Kejun from the Gaobeidian City Police Department
2006-07-10During each brainwashing session, many practitioners were bound to bench legs and were lashed with batons or rubber batons, until they were covered with bruises. One woman practitioner was continuously shocked with an electric baton for three days in the city detention centre in 2000. She was also tortured with a method called "Dog Noose" for three days. While suffering from this torture, a practitioner's hands and feet were crossed and then immobilised so that the practitioner couldn't stretch his/her back. This torture is extremely vicious. -
Persecution at the Heizuizi Women's Labour Camp in Jilin Province
2006-07-09On March 24th, 2006, guards cursed, and then dragged practitioner Yuan Sufang into a small cell. Yuan's four limbs were fixed on the bed. A guard stuck over ten needles into her acupuncture points and then increased the voltage. Yuan Sumei's body and head started to shake violently, and she had intense pain in her ribs, as though they were being broken. She was foaming at the mouth. The pain was intense beyond description. -
The Suffering and Persecution of Practitioner Mr. Han Dequan from Liaoning Province
2006-07-09Mr. Han Dequan is a 50-year-old practitioner. He was arrested on November 17th, 2001, and sentenced to six years in prison because he played a tape exposing the persecution. Since then, he has been locked up in the Dabei Prison in Shenyang, where he is suffering inhumane tortures. As Mr. Han describes the pain from the torture, his body from the waist down, especially his legs and feet, feel like they are soaking in ice water all the time. The pain pierces to the bone and is nearly intolerable. He also always feels pain and swelling in the back of his head. The images of the beating he received appear constantly in his mind. -
Mr. Zhou Zhigao Brutally Persecuted in Wuling Jail
2006-07-09Mr. Zhou Zhigao, a Falun Gong practitioner, around 56 years old, was arrested on August 21st, 2002, and sentenced to a seven-year jail term in Wuling Jail. From June 12th to 13th 2005, the provincial authority came to Wuling Jail to conduct a field inspection. Mr. Zhu was brutally beaten for refusing to wear the jail uniform. A week later, he was mercilessly beaten by prison guard Li Hui. The beating caused profuse bleeding. Another time, when he refused to comply with the roll call in the middle of the night, he was pushed from the upper tier bunk bed, causing him to fall. -
Recent Crimes of the Yanjiao Public Security Bureau Branch
2006-07-09On February 25th, 2006, the 610 Office went to the homes of practitioners Ma Weishan, Zhang Deli and Zhou Zhuanzhong with the intent to arrest them. Four police vehicles raided Zhang Deli’s place, seizing the TV, video player, and Dafa books. Zhang Deli and his second son (a non-practitioner) were taken to the Sanhe detention centre. At the detention centre, the police incited criminal inmates to hit the back, hands, and feet of Mr. Zhang’s son with a bottle filled with water. -
Ms. Liu Lihua Tortured to Death in Wuhan City
2006-07-08Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Lihua had been tortured multiple times. She was tied to the Death Bed, tortured with the big hang up in a detention centre, and was locked in a small dark cell for refusing to accept the brainwashing in Wuhan City's Hewan Forced Labour Camp. Ms. Liu was brutally force-fed because she was on hunger strike and also tortured with four months of sleep deprivation. She became as thin as a skeleton and died on June 9th, 2006. -
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Fears the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party - Falun Gong Practitioner Lu Xiangyun Sentenced to Three Years in Labour Camp
2006-07-08Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Lu Xiangyun, over 50 years old, was recently sentenced to three years in a forced labour camp. The sentence was related to the fact that a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was found while perpetrators ransacked her home. The CCP is afraid of the wide spreading of the Nine Commentaries. Many Falun Gong practitioners were arrested only because they owned a copy of the Nine Commentaries. -
The Women's Forced Labour Camps in Guangzhou City
2006-07-08The camp authorities force-fed the practitioners who refused to renounce Falun Gong. To do this they insert a thick tube down to the practitioners' stomachs through the nose. They then insert and pull out the tube several times to make the practitioner suffer. As a result they often injure the practitioners' oesophagus or hurt the windpipe, or even the lungs. The guards use practitioners' money to buy milk powder. When they force-feed the practitioners, they add drugs that damage the central nervous system and internal organs. -
The Chinese Communist Party Has Broken up My Family and Caused the Deaths of My Husband and My Son
2006-07-08At noon on March 1st, 2000, a group of people, one after the other, came to our home three times. They intimidated, threatened, and mentally tortured us. My husband died the next day. On July 8th, 2005, Party personnel broke into my house. They ransacked all Dafa related materials and all valuables in my home. They cursed and beat me, a nearly 60-year-old woman. They injured my legs and pulled out several clumps of hair from my head. They detained me for 42 days. My not-yet-10-year-old grandson was left with nobody to look after him. -
Four Falun Dafa Practitioners from Jilin and Shandong Provinces and Tianjin City Died under Persecution
2006-07-08Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Boyi, 43 years old had been tortured since the end of 2003 up until 2004, when she finally died. Ms. Liu Boyi's older brother and the head of the 610 Office, Xiao Bin (male), arrested Ms. Liu Boyi and detained her in Yanji City Mental Hospital for two years. She was given various unknown drugs and was finally released when she became very weak. At that time, Ms. Liu Boyi said to her brother, "Brother, I do not have any mental illness. You should not cooperate with the wicked policemen to torture me." One month after she arrived back home, Ms. Liu was arrested by agents from the 610 Office and was tortured to death. -
The 610 Office of Weifang Chemical Fibre Factory in Shandong Province Established a Private Prison to Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners
2006-07-07The CCP does not allow any other voice, and thus many people do not have a chance to know the truth. In order to explain the true situation of Falun Dafa to those kind-hearted people who are deceived by the lies, Falun Gong practitioners at Weifang Chemical Fibre Factory continuously speak out the truth about Falun Gong. They continue to be persecuted severely for their actions. Thirty-three practitioners have been arrested and fined thousands to tens of thousands of yuan, and are sent to brainwashing classes. Eight of them have been sent to labour camps. Three practitioners have been fired. Some have been detained in the private prison for over forty days. -
Practitioner Wang Jianguo's Family Appeals for Wang's Death Case and Voices Grievance (Photo)

Wang Jianguo was arrested by the police on March 2nd, 2006. Forty days later, Wang Jianguo, only thirty years old, was tortured to death by the people of the First Detention Centre in Jilin City. The tragedy broke the hearts of Wang's family. In addition, they were very worried about Wang's wife who was also arrested at the same time as Wang Jianguo. She is now being held in the Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp. Wang's family appealed to upper levels of the public security system. However, staff told them freely, "Do you think we can possibly help you? How can we punish our insiders?" -
"Why Does My Mum Not Speak? Where Is My Daddy?"
2006-07-07There are two rooms in a home in the Shangjie District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. In one of the rooms lies a woman in a vegetative state, and in the other room hangs a portrait of the woman's deceased brother. A little girl about four years old asked her grandfather, "Why does my mum not speak? Where is my daddy?" The elderly man could only cry. When Mr. Quan Peijun was arrested on January 11th, 2001, his wife was two months pregnant.
