When Mr. Zheng Hongjun was arrested, he was pushed into the police car barefoot in only his underwear. His sister and brother tried to stop the arrest, but were attacked by the police. His father, in his 60s, was so scared he fell onto a bed, pale faced with terror. Mr. Zheng's 65-year-old mother, who had never had heart problems, developed an irregular heartbeat due to the arrest. Zheng Hongjun's daughter, who has been disabled and bedridden for ten years and cannot speak clearly, was threatened to the point of crying and almost fell onto the floor from her bed. Now Mr. Zheng has been detained at the Longfeng Detention Centre for over 20 days. -
Retaliatory Persecution in Jinzhou Forced Labour Camp
2005-11-22For years, in order to "transform" them, the forced labour camp have continued persecuting practitioners who simply believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." They have used many brutal methods of torture, such as: tying a victim to the bed; sleep deprivation; sitting on a metal chair for a long time; hanging, electric shock; being hung up with the hands shackled behind the back; handcuffing in a one position for a long time; sitting in a lotus position on wooden sticks; hitting the ankles and joints with a clothes hanger; burning fingers, toes, or feet with cigarettes; hearing loud noises through headphones; knocking the helmet with a stick; gagging with a dirty mop; and wiping the mouth with dirty toilet paper. -
Repeated Arrest of Luo Jiabin and His Wife Jiang Yulian from Hunan Province
2005-11-22Recently, Dafa practitioners Luo Jiabin, a former air force pilot, and his wife Jiang Yulian, a nurse, were arrested. Participating in the arrest were agents from the 610 Office and officers from the Hongjiang City Police Department. The police arrested Ms. Jiang Yulian on the street. The child cried loudly and sadly and was later sent back home by some kind hearted people. The grandmother looks after the child now. -
Mr. Wei Haiwu and His Family Endure Immense Suffering While Seeking His Release from Illegal Detention
2005-11-22Wei Haiwu and his wife Yin Fengqin have suffered brutal persecution for practising Falun Gong, including having their home searched and their phone tapped, detentions with extended terms, illegal fines, brainwashing, threats and other atrocities. In July 2002 Mr. Wei Haiwu was sentenced to two years of forced labour. His wife Yin Fengqin has been sent to the same labour camp twice: once in April 2001 and again in May 2003. On the morning of August 7th, 2005, Wei Haiwu was arrested once again in Baoding City while at work. -

2005-11-21Twenty-seven practitioners were arrested and their homes searched. After more than a month, the local media has not said one word about the incident. Arrested practitioners, however, are still detained. Except for a few relatives of practitioners and a few witnesses, most citizens, and even some relatives of the arrested practitioners, do not know of these arrests. Practitioners risk much spreading flyers to expose the illegal persecution, but flyers posted in public places have been quickly damaged by people hired by the government. -
After Six Years of Persecution, I Long to Reunite with My Parents

Exposing the Persecution at Beijing's Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp
2005-11-21I was "illegally arrested" on April 4th, 2003 and detained at Beijing's Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp for nearly 300 days. I experienced and witnessed many evil acts in this living hell. Mental torment included verbal abuse, brainwashing attempts, other insults, bans on family visits, threats and inducing fear, and isolation to the point of despair. Through these torments, the perpetrators hoped that practitioners would give up Falun Gong. Physical tortures included beatings, electric shocks, long-term seating on a small chair, meagre food rations to the point of starvation, not allowing normal sleep, not allowing toilet breaks and all kinds of other corporal punishment -
Deyang Prison, a Concentration Camp for Persecuting Dafa Practitioners
2005-11-21Deyang Prison, located in Sichuan Province, is a concentration camp for persecuting Dafa practitioners. Local officials have established a 610 Office specifically to carry out the persecution of Falun Gong in the area. For several years, the persecution at Deyang Prison has been ceaseless. Several Dafa practitioners were tortured to death. Numerous practitioners were severely injured and/or disabled from torture. -
Ms. Wang Xiuxiang and Ms. Zhang Zhihui in Shandong Province Die Unjustly Under Persecution
2005-11-20Two women Falun Dafa practitioners died due to persecution in Shandong Province: Ms Wang Xiuxiang from Weifang City was threatened and terrorised by town government officials and passed away on October 16th, 2000. Ms Zhang Zhihui ifrom Zhucheng City was often detained and persecuted due to her cultivation in Falun Gong. She experienced tremendous physical and mental suffering. She was not released until she was tortured to the extent where she started to vomit blood. She passed away on October 21st, 2005. -
Mr. Luo Guang's Family Endures Hardship Because of the Persecution

Mr. Luo Guang and his wife Ms. Song Xiaohui were arrested and sent to a forced labour camp because they practise Falun Dafa. They have endured severe financial strain and were forced into homelessness several times. Their daughter has been separated from them since she was nine years old and is now being cared for by someone else. -
Recent Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Ziyang City
2005-11-20In mid-September of 2005, many government branches and police departments worked together and created a new wave of terror through TV, radios and newspapers. The public is encouraged to "report to authorities." Friends and relatives getting together may be called an "illegal gathering." The street committees, work units and village offices are forced to hang up a black sign reading, "Cracking Down on False Religion Office." On the night of September 28th, the whole police force in the city were assembled, and they started large-scale arrests. -
Partial Account of Illegal Persecution at the Xindian Women's Forced Labour Camp in Shanxi Province
2005-11-20The work in this camp included producing cigarette lighters. The Chinese Communist Party's police certainly enjoyed the profits. The practitioners, old or young had to get up as early as 5:00 a.m. and finally were permitted to sleep at midnight. Each day had a quota to be met, which the guards assigned at will and inevitably increased. If an inmate did not finish, the perpetrators would subtract points, extend her term, or even subject her to excruciating pain. After a while, many of their finger joints became swollen, distorted and curved. The most seriously hurt became disabled. -
Police Refuse to Release Critically Ill Ms Qu Xiuqin
2005-11-19Last May, police officers from Inner Mongolia arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qu Xiuqin. Since then she has been imprisoned in the Pingzhuang Detention Centre. Qu Xiuqin fell ill recently. The hospital diagnosis revealed uterine cancer, but the detention centre officials still refuse to release her. Qu Xiuqin's daughter is only 13 years old. When the police monitored the family's activities, they didn't even spare the young girl. How could a young mind withstand such pressure? -
My Mother Was Forced to Become Homeless to Avoid Further Persecution
2005-11-19When my mother was in exile, she again went to Beijing to petition against the suppression of Dafa. Once again she was subjected to torture. The police threatened another practitioner, who was from the Xinjiang Autonomous Region and over 50 years old, saying that if she would not reveal her name, they would beat and kick my mum. When the practitioner still didn't give her name, the police began to use coarser methods. They attempted to demoralise my mum by stripping off her clothes in front of the other practitioner. They even threatened to rape her. -
Additional Facts About Ms Yin Ling, A Falun Dafa Practitioner from Heilongjiang Province Who Died in the Persecution
2005-11-19According to the description of witnesses, Ms Yin Ling went on a hunger strike to protest persecution in Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp, but she was further abused and tortured by being force-fed. Some time later her nose, oesophagus and stomach could not withstand the piercing of the tubes. The persecutors force-fed her with corn porridge or rice porridge laced with a high concentration of salt. Each time Yin Ling would be tortured over one hour. It was not until she was in critical condition that the forced labour camp officials ordered her family on November 13th, 2002 to take her home. She passed away on December 11th.
