The Unlawful Arrest of Liu Xiaobin, a Formerly Disabled Practitioner Who Was Healed by Practising Falun Gong

Mr. Liu Xiaobin suffered from paraplegia in his upper body before practising Falun Dafa. Everyone who saw the change in him after he started the practice extolled the wonders of Falun Dafa and the miraculous healing effects. After Liu Xiaobin went to appeal in Beijing, he was locked in a detention centre for over four months. During the detention period his whole body had scabies and pus oozed from the sores. Upon his release he had to live an itinerant life to avoid persecution. -
Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Gao Yunhu from Inner-Mongolia Autonomous Region Dies as a Result of Persecution
2005-02-2463 year old Mr. Gao Yunhu was sentenced to three years at forced labour. He was later bailed out on a medical parole due to the effects of severe torture. The local "610 Office" and police continued to harass him at home. Since his daughter was arrested for handing out Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials, the police decided to closely monitor his home, causing him great stress. He died on February 1, 2005 -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Guo Shijun Dies as a Result of Abuse at the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp

52 year old Mr. Guo Shijun, was barbarically tortured at the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp to the point where he developed liver and lung cancer. He passed away on February 9, 2005. People in the village all know that he was very healthy before he was abducted. -
Tianjin City Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Jinhua Died as a Result of Relentless Police Harassment and Persecution
2005-02-24After 57 year old Mr. Liu Jinhua started practising cultivation his diabetes and liver cirrhosis were healed. Because he wrote "Falun Dafa is good" on an telegraph pole, officials sentenced him to three years of forced labour, where he was persecuted until he became seriously sick. Upon his release officials kept on harassing him at home. Mr. Liu Jinhua died in February 2005 as a result of the relentless persecution. -
The Deaths from Persecution of Three Elderly Shanghai Falun Dafa Practitioners
2005-02-24Three elderly practitioners were each subjected to persecution of various kinds leading to their tragic deaths: Mr. Ding Youmu endured forced labour leading to blindness in both eyes, and a malignant tumour; Mr. Xie's wife and son were unjustly sent to forced labour camps, and the five years of separation was heartbreaking for him; Mr. Zhang Baoqing was threatened with dismissal from his job or preventing his child from enrolling in school, in order to coerce him to give up practising Falun Dafa. He died from a recurrence of old illnesses. -
Shanxi Province Falun Dafa Practitioners Mr. Li Mingyue and His Son Li Junwen Died as a Result of Persecution in 2002 and 2004
2005-02-2369 year old Mr. Li Mingyue and his son Li Junwen died as a result of the persecution. Mr. Li Mingyue died three to four days after four or five police officers came to his house to harass him in October 2002. Li Junwen died in May 2004, after being tortured multiple times by police. He is survived by two children who are less than 10 years old. -
School Teacher Ms. Li Jinmei from Shanxi Province and Senior Citizen Mr. Zhao Yupu from Heilongjiang Province Died As a Result of Persecution in 2002 and 2004
2005-02-2357 year old Ms. Li Jinmei was detained in a detention centre extorted out of 5000 yuan, because she practised Falun Dafa. She died in September 2002 as a result of being continuously harassed and mistreated. 71 year old Mr. Zhao Yupu was arrested, had his Falun Dafa books confiscated, and also had 7000 yuan extorted from him. Because of his advanced age, he was released on parole, but Mr. Zhao died in June 2004 as a result of the constant police harassment. -
Death of Elderly Lady as a Result of Torture and Police Harassment
2005-02-23Ms. Chen Guiqin, 58 years old, was a teacher in Heilongjiang Province. After July 20, 1999, officers from the local public security bureau, the national security bureau, the government, her workplace and the area of her residence frequently went to her home to harass her and she was detained in detention centres several times. She suffered terrible torture and even after her release the police continued to persecute her at home. She eventually died in January 2004. -
Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners from Daiwangcheng Town in Hebei Province
2005-02-23Since 1999, the local officials of Daiwangcheng Town had to report the actions of Falun Gong practitioners to the town government in their villages. More than 40 practitioners became targets of persecution. After some practitioners went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution they were sent back to their home town and Li Fuchun, the head of the town government, said through clenched teeth, "I would really love to slice you into pieces." -
Practitioner Ms. Tong Huilan, 70, Suffered an Unjust Death in January 2004
2005-02-22Ms. Tong Huilan, a 70-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, miraculously recovered from late-stage cancer after practising Falun Gong. Ms. Tong went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in November 2000. She was arrested, and the police beat her so badly that she suffered a concussion. Later in 2002, the perpetrators captured her, tried to brainwash her and even confiscated her hard-earned savings of 2,000 yuan. Tong Huilan died an unjust death on January 20, 2004. -
Qingdao City "610 Office" Brainwashing Centre Fabricates Lies and Frames Innocent People
2005-02-22Qingdao City's current brainwashing centre hides its true identity with signs hanging up in front of the entrance, which say "Qingdao City Massage Instruction Centre for People with Visual Impairment" and "National Appraisal Centre for Professional Skills." However, none of these places exist. A leader of the "610 Office" has openly said to Falun Gong practitioners that every year the rental expenses for the brainwashing centre costs the state almost 100,000 yuan. -
The Persecution of Ms. Zhao Fengxian and Her Family
2005-02-22On November 19, 2004, about a dozen people barged into the home of Ms Zhao Fengxian, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Hebei Province. Police officers took away 2 computers, 3 mobile phones, as well as 3,600 yuan in cash. They handcuffed Ms. Zhao and her daughter, her younger son and his fiancee and forced them into a van, not giving them time to put on something proper. The police also imposed a fine of 10,000 yuan on her son's workplace for having employed someone that was involved with Falun Gong. -
The "Decorated Archway" Torture Implement at Jiutai Forced Labour Institute in Jilin Province (Drawing)
2005-02-22"Pai Lou" (meaning a decorated archway) at Jiutai Forced Labour Institute in Jilin Province, is also called the "forbidden cell." Many Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured in this iron cage. The detained practitioners have to eat, sleep and relieve themselves all in one small cell. Each cell is 0.9 meter wide and 1.7 meters long, and each will contain four practitioners. There are also handcuffs in the cell to further restrain practitioners. -
To Cover Up Their Crime of Murder, Police in Shandong Province Frame a Falun Gong Practitioner as Having Committed Suicide
2005-02-21Just after 10:00 a.m. on May 7, 2001, officials forcibly entered the home of Falun Gong practitioner Ms Li Xianglan and found information that exposed how Jiang Zemin's regime frames Falun Gong. She was arrested. When she returned back at her house after 11:00 p.m. she walked with great difficulty into the room. Her husband asked, "Did they beat you?" The short conversation was the last one they had in this life. When he woke up early next morning he discovered that Li Xianglan lying down in the yard - dead. Her legs and face were all bloody and covered with bruises and some portions of her legs were without skin. -
Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Guangzhi Was Persecuted to Death in Sichuan Province
2005-02-2163 year old Mr. Wang Guangzhi, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province. He was sentenced to two years imprisonment and violently force-fed, when he went on a hunger strike for 38 days to protest the illegal detention and abuse, causing his teeth to become loose. He was persecuted to the verge of death before being sent home. Mr. Wang passed away in October 2004.
