Here I want to tell how policeman Gao Xiu and several collaborators [former practitioners who have turned against Falun Gong under brainwashing and torture. They are then made to assist in brainwashing and torturing practitioners] caused the death of Ms. Wang Fengqin by force-feeding six years ago, in 2003. They even planned to kill me at that time to cover up the facts.

• Having Lost His Feet Six Years Ago, Wang Xinchun Is Arrested and Tortured Again

  Wang Xinchun is a Falun Gong practitioner from Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. He lost both feet in 2002 as a result of gross abuse at the Fenggou Police Station. Agents from the Fenggou Police Station arrested and violently tortured him again in December 2008. They surrounded Wang, knocked him down, and stomped on his head, feet, legs, arms and chest. They twisted his arms to the back and handcuffed him. Policeman Tao Xuwei punched and kicked Wang, while stuffing and pouring snow, cold water and beer on his chest and back. Then Tao ground his feet into the wounds on Wang's legs. He also used a wood plank to beat Wang's head, face, shoulder and back. Worse yet, Tao burned Wang's face with fire.

• The Persecution of Two Older Female Falun Gong Practitioners from Anxin County, Hebei Province

  Ms. Jin Guifang, 67 years old, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000. The police arrested her and she was held at the county detention centre. The police and prisoners beat this elderly woman. They searched her house and sent her to a labour camp for a year. She was put on public trial alongside criminals at the No.1 middle school playground. She was forced to stand on a truck, wear a big sign that said, "evil cult Falun Gong member."

• Cangxian Procuratorate Puts Five Practitioners on Trial

  In early March 2009, the Cangxian Procuratorate in Hebei Province put practitioners Mr. Pu Jinfeng, Ms. Zhao Junfeng, Mr. Zhang Kanzhong, Mr. Li Bin'an and Mr. Liu Rujun on trial. It was learned that there was an organization specifically set up for persecuting Falun Gong within the Cangzhou City Intermediate Court. It was stipulated that the County Court must report all cases to the city's Intermediate Court within three days. All the appeals lodged by the practitioners, who had been sentenced by the lower court, were all rejected by the city's Intermediate Court.

• Mr. Chang Guiyou Died in Custody in 2005

  In June 2004, Falun Gong practitioner Chang Guiyou was taken to the Tongzhou District Detention Centre. Then he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. In late November 2004, he was taken to the Qianjing Prison in Tianjin City. In March 2005, while detained in Beijing City Women's Prison, His wife was notified that her husband was critically ill. Both his nose and mouth were bleeding, and his head was wrapped with gauze. Later, she was notified that he died of a cerebral haemorrhage, at the age of 55.

• Mr. Mo Anqi Persecuted in Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp

  On January 20th, 2009, a so-called "celebration party" was held at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp in Hebei Province. Inmates performed a small drama which slandered Falun Gong. Everyone, including guards and some higher officials, was forced to attend. In the middle of the show, Mr. Mo Anqi, a Falun Gong practitioner, stood up and shouted: "Falun Gong is good! Stop the persecution!" Everyone was shocked. Then a dozen more practitioners shouted: "Falun Gong is good!" Qin Jing jumped up and ran towards Mr. Mo and beat him. Ordered by Qin, prisoners joined in and beat practitioners to the ground who had also shouted and dragged them outside.

• The Story of Young Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Yang Zhaoying from Suizhong County, Liaoning Province

  Ms. Yang Zhaoying was widely recognized for her outstanding Japanese-Chinese translation skills. However, the authorities arrested her because she practised Falun Gong, and were going to send her to a forced labour camp. To avoid persecution, she jumped out of a police station window and was severely injured. Her lower body was paralysed. Once at home after the injury, without any treatment, simply by studying the Falun Gong teachings and practising the Falun Gong exercises, she was able to stand up again and walk. Later, the Chinese Communist Party arrested Ms. Yang and also sentenced her to seven years in prison.

• Chinese Communist Party Officials from the Qingdao Bei District Court Conduct Large-Scale Unjust Activities

  On March 10th, 2009, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) orchestrated a terrible and ugly play at the Qingdao City Dashan Detention Centre in Shandong Province. The CCP collected a large group of individuals to attend a court session, including 610 Office staff, CCP plain clothes policemen, armed military police, Domestic Security Brigade officers, court police officers, judges, a "Procurator" and two to three hundred additional people. Additionally, over 50 police and other vehicles occupied nearly the entire 600-metre long path leading to the detention centre. All these arrangements were made for the trial of four kind-hearted Falun Gong practitioners.

• Mr. Zheng Yongyi Suffers Long-Term Mental Disability Due to Torture at Dalian Drug Abuse Centre

  Falung Gong practitioner Mr. Zheng Yongyi is 34 years old, and lives in Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province. He was persecuted by the Dalian Drug Abuse Centre in 1999. He was stripped naked and beaten badly there and lost his mental clarity. In the past nine years, his family has spent a lot of money treating Mr. Zheng, but he hasn't recovered, and is still dependent on his parents for daily care.

• Ms. Zhang Nengmin's Life Is in Danger after Seven Months in Sichuan Women's Forced Labour Camp

  Ms. Zhang Nengmin, an acupuncture physician, was persecuted in Sichuan Women's Forced Labour Camp. Forty years old and originally very healthy, she was persecuted and suffered a mental collapse. Her life is in peril. Ms. Zhang's relatives went to the Labour Camp to visit her. She was unable to walk or stand by herself and was held by two people. She was as thin as a skeleton and there was a scar on her face. One of her upper front teeth was missing. Her left ear could not been seen. It appeared to be wrapped with something and was quite scary looking. Her face did not show any emotion or reactions. She did not say a single sentence when her relatives spoke to her. It was reported that she had no appetite, and she had trouble falling asleep. The intravenous injection given to her was unsuccessful. She had lost control of her bladder and bowels.

• The Torture Method "Splitting the Body" Used on Falun Gong Practitioners in Jiuquan Prison, Gansu Province

  "Splitting inmates' bodies" is a very vicious method of torture used in Jiuquan Prison to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. This method was passed down from ancient times. It is used on practitioners who are locked in confinement cells. It involves handcuffing a person's hands, then using wires to fasten the handcuffs to two heaters. The torturer pulls the wires in opposite directions, making the victim feel as if his arms are being torn off. This method puts the victim through agonizing pain. The longer the arms are pulled, the more pain he suffers. Especially in the morning, the pain is so great that one would rather die than continue to live.

• Ms. Guo Yunling Persecuted for Five Years in a Women's Prison in Henan Province

  Ms. Guo Yunling is nearly 60 years old. She was arrested in July 2004. During the detention, she was put in handcuffs and shackles and held with criminals and drug addicts. No one was allowed to visit her and she was forced to stand, recite prison regulations and eat very poor quality food. The broth with vegetables had flies, mosquitoes and a disgusting smell. One's body would develop oedema shortly after eating such mouldy food. Three months later, she was sentenced to a six-year prison term and at present, is still detained in the No. 5 Women's Prison in Xinxiang City.

• Hunan Province Practitioner Ms. Luo Hong Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

  During a trial on March 3rd, 2009, the Shigu District Court of Hengyang City, Hunan Province and the Hunan Province Court sentenced Ms. Luo Hong to four years in prison. Ms. Luo plans to appeal to a higher court. During the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, the Hengyang City Domestic Security Section, the Hengyang City 610 Office, and the Renming Road Police Station arrested Ms. Luo Hong at her home for practising Falun Gong and possessing Falun Gong books. They searched her home, seized her computer, printer, printer paper, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings, and also froze her bank accounts. Ms. Luo remains imprisoned at the Hengyang City No. 1 Detention Centre.

• Mr. Xu Huijian Contracted Tuberculosis While Imprisoned--His Parents Not Allowed to Visit

  In 2001, Mr. Xu Huijian from Jilin Province was secretly sentenced to ten years in prison. He spent the first part of his sentence at the Jilin Province Prison and the Changchun City Tiebei Prison. He was later transferred to the notorious Gongzhuling Prison. Because Mr. Xu refused to give up his faith in Falun Gong, he was brutally tortured by the prison guards and became very emaciated. One year ago he contracted tuberculosis. In order to the news of his illness from leaking out, the guards tried to prevent his parents from visiting him. But eventually his parents found out. The guards told Mr. Xu that if he did not give up practising Falun Gong, he would not be released even when his ten-year term expired.

• Disabled Practitioner Cheng Jinjing's Physical Condition Deteriorating Rapidly at Detention Centre

  On January 9th, 2009, a group of police officers arrested disabled Falun Gong practitioner Cheng Jinjing, who is in his sixties. He was taken to the Zhoukou Detention Centre, where he was persecuted. Mr. Cheng recently had a relapse in his condition, and he is suffering severe pain in his legs. He has been unable to get up off the floor, and faces the risk of becoming paralysed. The situation is urgent. Gao Feng, team leader of the Domestic Security Division in the Shanan Police Department of Zhoukou City, refused to release Mr. Cheng. During the nine years of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong, Mr. Chen has been arrested three times because he exposed the persecution of Falun Gong.
