Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiufang from Shandong Province Is Homeless Again Due to Continuous Persecution

During the past few years, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xiufang has been repeatedly persecuted for her belief in Falun Gong. She has been sentenced to forced labour and detained in a mental hospital. Her newly built home and yard walls have also been destroyed. In June 2006, she was forced to leave home again to avoid further persecution. -
Practitioner Arrested in Shandong Province - Father Dies of Grief
2006-10-28Because he firmly cultivates in Dafa, the authorities ransacked 38-year-old Song Baogang's home on numerous occasions and sentenced him to two years of forced labour. They even held him for more than two years after he had completed his sentence at the Wangcun Labour Camp. The actions of the police forced Mr. Song into destitution and homelessness. On September 7th, 2006, more than ten individuals arrested Mr. Song. Mr. Song's father suffered tremendously, both physically and emotionally, as a result of the long-term harassment, threats, and persecution that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) inflicted on his son. He died on September 17th after hearing that his son had been arrested once again. -
Two Practitioners from Hebei Province Arrested and Tortured for Delivering the Nine Commentaries
2006-10-28Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Li Gang and Mr. Li He were arrested by traffic police in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province when delivering the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party . They are detained at Zhuozhou Detention Centre and are reportedly being tortured and persecuted. The police beat them and then scattered salt on their wounds. Cries of pain could be heard from the torture room. -
Two Elderly Practitioners Die from the Persecution in Jilin and Shandong Provinces
2006-10-28Mr. Sun Fuxi, 68, lived in Yantai City, Shandong Province. He began cultivating Falun Gong in 1995 and had been healthy ever since. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Dafa on July 20th, 1999, party officials often harassed him at his home at all hours. They forced him to write a "guarantee statement" to renounce Falun Dafa and arrested his family members. His wife and son were arrested and detained many times. Mr. Sun suffered tremendous harm to his mind and body. After enduring the long term mental pressure and persecution, he passed away during August 2005. -
Nineteen Practitioners Arrested in Harbin City, Mr. Zhang Zhong Died in Custody after Torture and Abuse
2006-10-27On August 10th, 2006, nineteen practitioners were sharing experiences together at a practitioner's home. When they came downstairs, they were all arrested by police officers. The police detained all of the practitioners in theNan'gang District Detention Centre. We heard that Mr. Zhang Zhong and Mr. Han Wei were tortured the most severely, causing injury and extreme physical weakness. Mr. Zhang Zhong was on hunger strike to protest the arrest. He died in the police hospital after severe torture. -
Older Practitioner, Ms. Li Xiuju from Shandong Province, Died As a Result of Persecution in 2002
2006-10-27Ms. Li Xiuju suffered all kinds of inhuman torture when she was detained in a detention centre, following her arrest for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. The hatchet men tortured her every day, lashing them with bamboo strips, beating them with batons, shocking them, pouring ice cold water on them, putting salt on their wounds; they were also made to stand straight, run or do push-ups for an extended time. The persecution also gave great pressure to her husband. After repeated harassment Li Xiuju died on January 17th, 2002, at the age of 52. -
Four Practitioners Who Died as a Result of the Persecution in Sichuan, Shaanxi, Hebei, and Hubei Provinces
2006-10-27Mr. Liu Shaohua, 73 years old, was an employee of the Education Bureau in Langfang City, Hebei Province. After the persecution began the staff from his work place would go to his home to threaten or harass him, attempting to force him to write letters renouncing Falun Gong. In the spring of 2005, people from the local 610 Office told his work place that Liu Shaohua had been distributing leaflets exposing the persecution, so the staff from his work place went to his home to threaten him. In October of the same year, they went to his home again and said that he had been reported for meeting another practitioner. Liu Shaohua suffered threats and psychological persecution by these people until he died on November 12th, 2005. -
Guangzhou City Practitioner Mr. Ma Minqing Arrested and His Wife Sentenced to Forced Labour
2006-10-27Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Ma Minqing and his wife, Ms. Zheng Jie'er, had been forced into homelessness for some time. They were the main targets of persecution that the Public Security Bureau of Yuexiu District had focused on. Ms. Zheng Jie'er was arrested on July 23rd, 2006, and was sentenced to two years of forced labour. The same office arrested Mr. Ma Minqing on October 8th, 2006. -
Practitioners Tortured at Xinkaipu Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province
2006-10-27Mr. Liu Heqing, in his 30s, had previously left the forced labour camp. Unfortunately, he was again sentenced to forced labour in March 2005. He was beaten after he yelled, "Falun Dafa is good!" He fainted and was carried to a closed room. When he came to, he started yelling, "Falun Dafa is good!" He continued to yell when others were eating. Those in charge handcuffed him and punched his chest and stomach. All of his teeth fell out after the beating. Although he was beaten with sticks and electric batons, he still yelled, "Falun Dafa is good!" They used a long needle to puncture his tongue, pulled a threaded needle through it, and tied the thread to a weight. After that horrific torture, Mr. Liu could no longer talk nor look after himself. He became mentally unstable. -
60-Year-Old Ms. Lu Yanfang Persecuted to Death by Police from Shulan City, Jilin Province
2006-10-26Ms. Lu Yanfang was about 60 years old. She went to Beijing twice to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong after the persecution began on July 20th, 1999. Police officers stopped her when she reached Beijing the second time and detained her. In March 2002, she was again detained by police. To avoid being harassed, Ms. Lu was forced to leave home and become destitute. In May 2006, Ms. Lu's whereabouts were reported to authorities. To avoid arrest, Ms. Lu had to walk dozens of miles in the mountains during the night. Because of this tremendous mental and physical pressure, she became ill and died on October 10th. -
Wang Xiaoyan Is Persecuted in Dalian City, Liaoning Province And Cannot Join Her Husband in Germany
2006-10-26On May 27th, 2006, Ms. Wang Xiaoyan was arrested and her home was ransacked by police from the Chunhai Station. She has not been allowed visits ever since. She called home for the first time last week, and said that she is now being detained in the Second Branch of Masanjia Labour Camp on a two-year term. Details of her situation over the past five months are unknown. -
A Child Alone During Mid-Autumn Festival When Other Families Get Together
2006-10-26The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family reunions. I know of a child named Liangliang, whose father, a Falun Gong practitioner, was sentenced to a seven-year prison term on August 16th, 2006. Liangliang is all now left at home alone. Who does he reunite with? One day in December 2005, when Liangliang's father was distributing leaflets, someone told the police and he was arrested. On August 16th, 2006, he was sentenced to a seven-year term. Now Liangliang is all alone, with no one to look after him. -
Kind Hearted Cheng Hanxiang, A Villager in Liaoning Province, Is Repeatedly Detained
2006-10-26Mr. Cheng Hanxiang, in his 50s, is always willing to help others, and people all know that he is a really good man. He used his own savings to help support poor students and orphans. However, in June 2004, police arrested Mr. Cheng and detained him in the detention centre, because he practises Falun Gong. Later, he was sent to the Huluao Labour Camp and has been detained there now for more than two years. That was the fourth time that Mr. Cheng had been detained. -
Heilongjiang Province TV Station Employee Zhao Xidong Persecuted for Persisting in His Belief in Falun Dafa
2006-10-26Mr Zhao Xidong worked at the Russian Translation Centre of Heilongjiang Provinces' TV Station since 1993. He was the top talent there, with unique and valuable skills. Because Heilongjiang Provinces' TV Station desperately needed someone with this talent, Shenyang Military Area was forced to transfer Zhao Xidong there. He put his talents into action. He was an editor, reporter, anchor, etc. He was able to photograph, interview, edit, and do voice dubbing. He also practises Falun Dafa. On December 12th, 2005, the Dongli District Police Department sentenced Mr. Zhao Xidong to a labour camp for eighteen months. -
Mr. Yang Huilin Almost Buried Alive at Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp in Hebei Province--His Wife Dies as a Result of the Persecution
2006-10-25The Communist Party publicly cracked down on Falun Dafa on July 20th, 1999. Since then, practitioner Mr. Yang Huilin has suffered illegal arrest, imprisonment, extortion, and torture at the hand of the local 610 Office and police several times. His family finally broke down and fell apart. At the Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp, Mr. Yang was tied up and tortured with seven or eight electric-shock batons. He was almost buried alive by the guards. After fleeing the camp, he had little choice but to be destitute and homeless for a long time. His wife, Ms. Yang Xiaowen, died from persecution.
