Sweden: Introducing Falun Gong at Helsjön College

I am a Falun Gong practitioner and I’m studying Music in Helsjön College, 70km southwest of Gothenburg. There are about 120 students in the school and lots of them are Christian, so I had the chance to talk about spiritual issues with them. They were curious about Falun Gong. I provided them with some information and now I run an exercise class every Thursday before lunch. Students come to learn the exercises, and also hear about the persecution. -
European Practitioners' Chinese New Year Celebration Activities: Part 1 - Preparation Work

Although many practitioners didn’t know specifically which activities they were going to be involved in, everyone was lively and ready to help wherever they could. An exercise demonstration was followed by sending righteous thoughts; whilst some practitioners talked with passers by about the persecution and gave out leaflets. -
Austria: Anti-torture Exhibition in Vienna Helps People see the Evil Nature of the Chinese Communist Party

On January 20th 2005, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition and information day in Vienna’s Stephansplatz. The re-enactments of the methods of torture used to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs helped many people see the terrible crimes committed under orders from the former Chinese Leader Jiang Zemin. -
Germany: Western Practitioners in Passau City continued to Raise Awareness about the Persecution, Despite the Rain
2005-02-21One of the practitioners demonstrated the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts whilst the other distributed leaflets to passers by, telling them about the Chinese Communist Party and the Jiang regime’s cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners over the last five years. Although the petition form was wet from the rain, there were still people signing it, calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. -
French Human Rights Lawyer submits a Legal Petition requesting a Comprehensive Investigation into the 2004 Paris Incident

On the afternoon of the 11th of February 2005, on behalf of Falun Gong practitioners, Lawyer Fabrice Orlandi filed a legal petition to the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris. The petition requested a comprehensive investigation into the incident on January 2004, in which, bowing to the pressure from the Chinese communist regime, French police harassed Falun Gong practitioners. -
Russia: Promoting Falun Gong and Appealing for People’s Concern for China’s Persecuted Practitioners

Practitioners from St. Petersburg, Moscow and Saratov gathered at the subway station of Kirovsko in St. Petersburg. The main aim of this activity was to introduce the practice of Falun Gong to the locals, expose the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal persecution under the Jiang regime and appeal for justice and conscience. -
Sweden: Presenting Falun Gong at a Health Expo in Skövde

At the same time as the exercises were shown, one of the practitioners spoke to the audience about what Falun Gong is and what cultivation is and what effects the exercises have. She also told everyone that Falun Gong-practitioners have been subjected to over five years of brutal persecution in China at the hands of the communist regime. -
Switzerland: Candlelight Vigil and Information Stall during Basel’s Late Night Museum Opening
2005-02-19Practitioners held a peaceful appeal to highlight the brutal campaign of genocide that has been taking place against Falun Gong in China over the last five years. Many people learned about the persecution of Falun Gong after seeing the peaceful candle-light vigil. We were there until late at night, despite the cold weather. Many people approached us because they wanted to find out more. Some even took a pile of leaflets home with them, as they were eager to help us tell more people about the persecution. -
Austria: Predestined Encounters during an Experience Sharing Gathering in Vienna
2005-02-18Three of the youth hostel residents joined me in the hostel’s main hall. They had come to Vienna from Israel. Once they saw the Falun Dafa banner on the wall they were curious about what it represented. One of them joined me for a while and I told him about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. He was already familiar with other qigong practices and was delighted to hear that there was a Falun Gong group exercise practice the next day. It was astounding to see him next morning; he was already able to do the first four exercises from beginning to end. -
Russia: St. Petersburg Rally Calls for Attention to Falun Gong Practitioners' Human Rights in China
2005-02-18Some practitioners held banners and talked to people about the inhumane persecution happening in China; others demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises whilst some practitioners walked to a nearby park and a shopping centre to distribute leaflets. Afterwards, a peaceful vigil took place outside the Chinese Embassy. Practitioners felt that more and more people are starting to learn about Falun Gong and step forward to oppose the genocide against practitioners in China. Lots of people were interested and had questions to ask. They listened very carefully to the answers and then stated that they wanted to help. -
Ukraine: Practitioners Receive a Warm Welcome at “Valentine's Day” Activities

Ukrainian Dafa practitioners were invited to attend a “Love and Friendship” performance held by a children’s library, as part of Valentine’s Day celebrations. They performed a beautiful lotus flower dance and held an activity in the name of ‘Petals of Peace’. 'Petals of Peace' symbolises hope for all the children who are suffering during the on-going persecution of Falun Gong in China. -
Germany: Stories of Promoting Falun Gong and Raising Awareness of the Persecution
2005-02-17A Falun Dafa Information Day was held in Nurnberg, a city located in southern Germany, on December 10th 2004. A middle-aged gentleman looked at every photo and illustrated drawing very carefully and then discussed them with several practitioners. He spent almost two hours developing an in-depth understanding of what Falun Gong is and how it is being violently persecuted in China. -
European Falun Gong Practitioners held a Grand Chinese New Year Parade in Paris
2005-02-16
The parade consisted of a waist drum formation, traditional Chinese fan dancing and lotus flower dancing, costumes from China’s most prosperous Tang Dynasty period and a Falun Gong exercise demonstration float. Firecrackers, gongs, drums and elegant dances expressed heartfelt New Year wishes to everyone. -
Belgium: Schoolchildren are Enthusiastic to Hear about Falun Gong and are Concerned about the Persecution

On the 16th of November, practitioners from Belgium were invited to a school in the city of Hasselt to introduce Falun Gong and the persecution against the practice in China to a class of ten to twelve year-old children. The children were very enthusiastic. The visit was successful and the teacher was very pleased that the practitioners were able to attend. -
Sweden: Falun Gong practitioners Appeal for an End the Persecution at the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm
2005-02-16
On February 6th 2005, on the eve of the Chinese New Year, Stockholm Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy to make a peaceful appeal. They called for the ongoing brutal persecution against Falun Gong in China to end immediately.
