    Beyond the Red Wall is a documentary produced by the Canadian film director Peter Rowe. It was first broadcast by the Canadian National Broadcasting TV Company (CBC) on November 20th, 2007. The broadcast at that time was not smooth sailing. The originally arranged broadcast time was set on the 6th November, due to the pressure from the Chinese Embassy in Canada, CBC suddenly changed to another programme.

Signatures were gathered for the ‘Millions of signatures’ petition campaign, demanding the Chinese communist regime to immediately stop its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. After having seen the banners depicting Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China and having had explanations about the persecution, many would spontaneously come to the petition table to sign the petition.
