Ukraine Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference

From June 6th to the 8th, a Falun Gong experience sharing conference was held in the Ukrainian capital Kiev. Practitioners travelled from countries including Russia, Belarus and Latvia to take part in the conference and several shared their experiences of practising Falun Dafa and understandings gained through studying the principles of the practice. -
Belgium: Falun Gong Activities During a Cultural Festival in the City of Leuven

The Belgium International Cultural Festival attracted tens of thousands of people to the university city of Leuven on May 30th, 2008. Falun Gong practitioners from Belgium set up a booth during the festival, to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises, tell others about the benefits of the practice and raise awareness about the persecution of pracititioners in China. On learning what is happening in China, many people signed the petition to stop the persecution. -
Finland: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in Helsinki

On Sunday, June 1st, 2008, people in Helsinki ushered in the 12th Métis River Festival on the banks of the Métis. Falun Gong practitioners set up a booth, hung up a banner worded with “Falun Gong is good” and displayed exhibition boards introducing Falun Gong and distributed beautiful folded paper lotus flowers as a special holiday gift to the Finnish people. -

Agency France Presse reported on June 5th that two American congressmen accused the CCP regime of prompting the attack on the New York Falun Gong practitioners. They also appealed to the American government to raise an objection to the CCP. The report says, last month when Falun Gong practitioners were holding a CCP condemnation gathering and distributing flyers they were attacked.Agency France Presse quoted the local police’s words reported by the New York Times newspaper, saying there were six people arrested, three charged with assault offences and others accused of disturbing social order. -

Sweden: Documentary Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners by the CCP Broadcast on Swedish TV
2008-06-10Beyond the Red Wall is a documentary produced by the Canadian film director Peter Rowe. It was first broadcast by the Canadian National Broadcasting TV Company (CBC) on November 20th, 2007. The broadcast at that time was not smooth sailing. The originally arranged broadcast time was set on the 6th November, due to the pressure from the Chinese Embassy in Canada, CBC suddenly changed to another programme. -

On May 31st, 2008, the Spanish 'Quitting the CCP Service Centre' and the Falun Gong Association held a rally in Madrid's Phoenix Square to condemn the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and express support for the 37 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Though it had been raining for quite a few days in Madrid, the popular Phoenix Square it was still bustling and noisy.
