European Parliament Resolution Urges Major Chinese Reforms
2006-09-18The European Parliament adopted a resolution expressing alarm over a range of Chinese economic, foreign policy, environmental and human rights issues, including the forced removal of organs from imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners. The resolution was passed ahead of the summit in Helsinki between the European Union's executive body and China. -

Sweden: Practitioners File Criminal Complaint Against Chinese Minister of Commerce
2006-09-17The Swedish Falun Dafa Association filed a criminal complaint against Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai during his visit to Sweden on September 15th. The complaint accused him of the murder, torture and abduction of Falun Gong practitioners in China, in accordance to Swedish national laws and the United Nation Convention against torture. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Crimes Committed by the Chinese Communist Party

Something like this can’t be happening again.” Many people are deeply horrified and ask, “Why are they doing this to Falun Gong practitioners, especially since they only want to practice their spiritual belief?” The recognition of the irrationality of the inhuman persecution of peaceful people is imprinted on the face of these people. -

2006-09-17On the first weekend in September, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners participated in an annual cultural festival in the old city of Liesel. There were more than one hundred organisations taking part in this activity. Practitioners introduced Falun Gong to people and told them about the persecution launched by the CCP against Falun Gong. -

Proclamation for Cambridge Falun Dafa Art Exhibition: “Honouring Falun Dafa”
2006-09-16On August 15th, 2006, the "Truthfulness, Compassion & Tolerance” art exhibition was held in the Lord Rank Room of Wesley House in Cambridge. A proclamation was written for the exhibition by practitioners who organised the event and signed by Mayor of Cambridge Robert Dryden and Cambridge MP David Howarth, who also gave a speech at the opening ceremony. European Commissioner’s Concern about Organ Harvesting in China
2006-09-16"For the moment I can assure you that the European Commission attaches the utmost importance to the issue of organ harvesting. It is clear that the legislation on this recently adopted by the Chinese government does not adequately address the issue of donor consent, particularly for the those who have died in custody or have been executed. We have made our concerns known to the Chinese government both through our human rights dialogue and wider political channels, urging them in strong terms to take measures to address these concerns as a matter of urgency. 2006-09-15“This cheque has particular symbolic value,” said Erich Bachmann. He received the cheque worth 2,200 Swiss Francs from Hong Kong’s Ministry of Justice, “after we were acquitted by the highest Court of Appeal, which is comparable to our Federal Court.” What happened? In March 2002, Erich Bachmann and fifteen other Falun Gong practitioners held a protest against the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China in a public area in Hong Kong. In 1999, the former President of China ordered this movement to be banned. -
Ireland: Falun Gong Shines at the World Culture Festival in Dun Laoghaire
2006-09-14During the last weekend of August, the coastal town of Dun Laoghaire hosts a "World Culture Festival". This year, Irish Falun Gong practitioners brought to the festival a Falun Gong exercise demonstration, Chinese traditional dances and beautiful folded paper lotus flowers. They were well received by visitors. -
Norway: Re-enactment of Human Organ harvesting in China Receives Attention
2006-09-14Two exhibitions were held in Egertorget square in Oslo, Norway, in July and August 2006. With an operating table and hospital personnel, the exhibition re-enacted the practice of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners taking place in China. Many people signed a petition which asked the Chinese regime to stop this illegal practise.
