Foreign Ambassadors in London Express Concern about Organ Harvesting
2006-09-23Ambassadors of various countries based in London wrote to the European Friends of Falun Gong to express their concern about organ harvesting from living people in China. The Ambassador of the Swiss Embassy wrote, “Thank you for your letter of 22nd of August 2006 concerning Falun Gong practitioners in China and the allegations of organ harvesting in that country. Switzerland has been conducting a human rights dialogue with China for several years now. Our priority topics include the right to freedom of religion and conscience and freedom from physical harm". -
Germany: Local Media Reports on the Persecution
2006-09-23On August 26th, a Chinese lady Luyi Schwab held a Falun Gong information day in Herrenberg to raise public awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in her homeland. Local newspaper Gäubote published an article on her event beforehand. The article said that the information day will touch upon the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Luyi Schwab stated that these practitioners' organs were removed by the Chinese Communist regime for sale. -
Austria: Practitioners Gather at the Singapore Consulate and Request the Withdrawal of an Unjust Indictment
2006-09-22On August 23rd, 2006, practitioners in Austria held an activity in front of the Singapore Consulate to protest the Singapore police's indictment of Falun Gong practitioners under the charge of "illegal assembly." Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal on the Eve of Wen Jiabao's Visit to Germany
2006-09-20A Falun Gong human rights working group in Germany sent an open letter to the German Government, media and citizens, appealing for attention to China’s human rights conditions on the eve of Wen Jiabao’s visit to Germany, from September 13th - 15th. The letter mentions Gao Zhisheng, a prominent Chinese lawyer and active human rights campaigner who has been illegally detained by the Chinese Communist Party since August 15th, 2006. He openly wrote letters to the CCP leaders disclosing the situation of innocent Falun Gong practitioners being cruelly persecuted. -

Slovakia: Falun Gong in Levice and Kremnica
2006-09-19On Friday September 8th, practitioners of Falun Gong visited Levice city in Slovakia. Although to begin with the weather was rather cloudy, they put up a table with a petition against the persecution, erected the banner stands showing the scenes from the persecution and started to practice the peaceful Falun Gong exercises.
