Germany: Prior to the German Foreign Minister's Visit to China, Practitioners in Berlin Hold a Torture Exhibition
2004-07-21Prior to the German Foreign Minister’s visit to China, practitioners from Berlin and nearby cities held a torture exhibition in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 8th of July, calling for attention to the persecution against Falun Gong conducted by the Jiang group and to expose its attempt to intensify the persecution overseas.

Press Release: Dun Laoghaire Student Liu Feng Again Applies for an Irish Visa. Chinese Ambassador says he is Free to Return to Ireland.
2004-07-21Last week it was learned from the Irish Embassy in China that Liu Feng and his wife Qiaona Zhang are again in the process of returning to Ireland to continue their studies. Liu Feng is a Dun Laoghaire student who was detained when he returned to China for his Christmas break in 1999 and was not permitted to return to Ireland because he practiced Falun Dafa.

Ukraine: "The Path of Falun Gong" Picture Exhibition Held in Boryspil City
2004-07-21From June 6th to June 9th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners held “The Path of Falun Gong” picture exhibition at the Country History Museum in the Ukranian city of Boryspil. It showed how Falun Dafa has spread around the world and the course of peacefully and rationally opposing the persecution taking place in China.

France: A Solemn Declaration
2004-07-21My name is Chen Zhumei and I started to practice Falun Dafa in July 1999 in France. On the 18th of July, 2000, I went to Beijing to validate the Fa and was arrested and detained for a month after being beaten cruelly by the evil police. As I did not study the Fa sufficiently, lacked deeper understanding of Dafa principles, and failed to let go of my basic attachments, I did not use my righteous thoughts in the face of hardship.

The First Secretary of the French Socialist Party Expresses Concern about the Mistreatment by the French Police Towards Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-07-20In January 2004, influenced by the slanderous propaganda and under pressure from the Jiang regime, Paris police who were not aware of the facts mistreated Falun Gong practitioners. Recently, the First Secretary of the French Socialist Party and MP Mr Francois Hollande wrote to practitioners, saying that the Chairman of the Parliamentary Socialist Party has asked the MP responsible for Rights and Legal Affairs to take a look at this incident.

Ireland: Exposing the Torture Methods Used Against Falun Gong Practitioners in China
2004-07-20On Saturday July 17th in Dublin, a group of Falun Dafa practitioners held an Anti-Torture exhibition demonstrating the methods used in Chinese labour camps, prisons and detention centres to force practitioners to give up their belief. The exhibition took place in the centre of Dublin on Dublin’s busiest thoroughfare. Crowds of people watched the display in disbelief at the horror of what is happening in China today.

Finland: Practitioners in Finland Expose the Brutality of the Five Years of Persecution Against Falun Gong with a Live Anti-Torture Exhibition (Part I)
2004-07-20On Sunday the 18th of July, practitioners from Nordic countries held activities in Helsinki Central Park to appeal for an end to this persecution. Five years ago in July 1999, Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin banned Falun Gong in China and launched a systematic and vicious campaign of genocide, which has claimed more than a thousand innocent lives to this day.

2004-07-19On Sunday July the 18th, UK Falun Gong practitioners staged an anti-torture exhibition opposite the Houses of Parliament in London. People took leaflets and talked with practitioners to learn more about the situation, and many signed a petition calling for the chief instigator of this persecution, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, to be brought to justice.

EFGIC: Confirmed Death Count of Falun Gong Practitioners in China Exceeds 1,000
2004-07-18LONDON (EFGIC) – The verified deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in China, which began with 18-year-old Ms. Chen Ying on August 16 1999, surpassed the 1000 mark this past week. Based on statistics from Chinese Government sources, however, the actual death toll is at least 5,000, or even much higher.
