While everyone was sitting in meditation, a team of reporters from a local TV station arrived. When the reporters discovered that it was Falun Gong, one of them said, “Yes, Falun Dafa. I know about Falun Gong, and I saw in the newspaper about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. It seems to be a very peaceful and quiet practise though.” -
Russia: Moscow Residents Learn About Falun Dafa During a Celebration Hosted by the United Nations Refugee Council

June 20th 2004 was World Refugee Day. The office of the United Nations Refugee Council in Moscow organised an outdoor celebration activity in the city’s Youth Palace and Falun Gong took part, distributing leaflets and demonstrating the exercises. Many people readily came to learn the truth about Falun Gong. The organiser of the programme said happily to practitioners, “It is such a wonderful cultivation way; I must learn it. Could you give me more materials so that I can share them with my friends and we could learn together.” -
Fadu in Sweden (2): Appealing for the Children of Falun Dafa Practitioners Being Persecuted in China

With only a few simple words and sentences, as well as hand-folded lotus flowers and peaceful Falun Gong exercises, Fadu appealed to Swedish children to assist in stopping the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and to rescue the children of the Falun Gong practitioners who are subjected to tremendous suffering. -
Grand Falun Gong Parade Through the City of Vienna: The Waist Drum Performance

On June the 19th 2004, people crowded the pavements to watch Falun Gong practitioners parading through Vienna’s busy city centre. At the front of the parade were the waist-drummers. Throughout the parade the marching musicians reinforced the rhythm of the drums with a resounding cry of “Falun Dafa is Good!" -
Russia: Moscow Practitioners Introduce Falun Dafa at the People's Health Exhibition

To honour Dafa practitioners’ positive contribution to the “For Citizens’ Health” Exhibition, the local government awarded the Moscow Falun Dafa Association a diploma. Practitioners set up an exhibition of various information boards, distributed flyers and other materials that explained Falun Dafa and the facts of the persecution. -

June the 13th was the day of the Arivika Hamnfestival. Last year, practitioners dressed in yellow and joined the festival to promote Falun Dafa and reveal the facts of the persecution taking place in China. Radio Free Asia Special Report: Chinese Falun Gong Practitioners from 17 Countries Jointly Publish Open Letter
2004-06-24Falun Gong practitioners of Chinese nationality who currently live in Canada, Japan and other 15 countries recently published an open letter calling on people to pay attention to the issue that their passports have been withheld or not renewed over the past few years. At the same time, travel certificates of more than 30 Falun Gong practitioners from Hong Kong have been either postponed or confiscated. -
Grand Parade through the Centre of Vienna

On Saturday the 20th of June, Dafa practitioners from Europe and the Asia Pacific region held a grand parade through the crowded city centre of Vienna. Many people lined the pavements to view the beautiful and varied parade performances. The procession was lead by a waist drum team followed by traditional Chinese Fan Dancers and Lotus Flower Dancers. -
Fadu in Sweden (1): Crossing the Pacific Ocean to Make Good Friends in Northern Europe

She and her mother were invited to attend forums on China’s human rights situation, which were being held in four Northern European countries. Calling for an End to the Persecution - Successful Activities in Vienna

Tourists and local citizens alike came to understand more about this traditional cultivation system, as hundreds of practitioners from Europe and the Asia-Pacific region gathered in the city to hold a series of activities. -

The press conference detailed a series of activities, the theme of which was to be “jointly putting to a stop to China’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners”. Two Falun Gong practitioners then recounted abuses suffered by themselves or their family members. -
Sweden: Introducing Falun Dafa in the City of Sunne

On June the 19th, an introduction to Falun Dafa was held in Sunne. The invitation had come from a woman who, after reading Falun Dafa’s introductory book, became fascinated by its profound principles and wanted to learn more. Afterwards, the attendees said that they had experienced a very nice feeling when performing the exercises.
