    'Six Falun Gong practitioners submitted a lawsuit to the Belgian federal prosecutors against Jiang Zemin, China’s former leader and Chair of the Central Military Committee of the People’s Republic of China, for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and for committing torture, crimes against humanity, and genocide.'

They showed great interest in the lawsuits filed in many countries against the former Chinese President, Jiang Zemin, who is the prime culprit of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Many of them indicated their support for the legal actions taken by Dafa practitioners.

    On the 20th of August, Belgian Falun Gong practitioners organised a press conference about the lawsuit against China’s dictator Jiang Zemin, at the Federation Court in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Major Dutch and Belgian media organisations attended the conference. Outside the court, Falun Gong practitioners’ peaceful demonstrations of the exercises also attracted media attention.

    A blue banner, with a German translation of “Suing Jiang Zemin for Genocide”, formed a stage curtain. Jiang was being charged with instigating the persecution against Falun Gong, which has now been going on for four years. Chinese practitioners acted as witnesses, giving evidence and recounting their horrendous memories from time spent in China’s labour camps.
