State Councillor and Former Education Minister Chen Zhili Sued in Africa and Appears in Court
2004-08-02On July the 30th, a group of international human rights attorneys formally announced that State Councillor and former Education Minister Chen Zhili was sued in Tanzania on July the 19th. She showed up in court on July 19 upon being subpoenaed in Tanzania. This was the first time that a defendant showed up in court in the series of lawsuits against Chinese officials for their crimes in the persecution of Falun Gong. -
Taiwan: The Taiwanese Association for the Rescue of Falun Gong Practitioners Being Persecuted Is Formally Established
2004-08-02To rescue those Falun Gong practitioners from being persecuted in China and to bring those wrongdoers who persecute Falun Gong to justice, practitioners in Taiwan legally established the non-profit organisation, the 'Taiwanese Association for the Rescue of Falun Gong Practitioners Being Persecuted.' -

2004-07-27A bicycle tour to rescue those children who are being persecuted in China for their beliefs in Falun Gong left Nagoya for Osaka at 9:30 a.m. on July 17, 2004. The two-hundred-mile journey took the team, which consisted of several adults and two children, three days to complete, with stops in major cities, including Kyoto.
