United States: Falun Gong Practitioners from Philadelphia Hold Press Conference to Call for Support for the U.N. Resolution on China's Human Rights Situation

The United States will introduce a resolution regarding China's human rights practices at the 2004 U.N. Commission on Human Rights meeting in Geneva. Due to this Falun Gong practitioners from Metropolitan Philadelphia held a press conference at the Liberty Bell Memorial Plaza in downtown to call upon members of the U.N. Commission on Human Rights to support this resolution and help China to improve its human rights situation. -
Taiwan: Clarifying the Truth of Falun Gong at “The Exhibition of Renowned Contemporary Chinese Painters and Calligraphers' Works”

The exhibition, which was held in Taipei in March, displayed about a hundred paintings and calligraphies from more than 60 famous painters and calligraphers. The exhibition successfully combined appreciation of famous paintings and clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. -
Japan: Practitioners Explain the Facts of Falun Gong to Several Hundred Delegates from Three Northeast Provinces of China
2004-04-05From March 30 to 31, 2004, the Japan China Economic Collaboration Conference was held in Sendai, the largest city in Northeast Japan. A delegation of 700 people from northeast’s three provinces and Inner Mongolia of China attended the event. Among the delegates, there were people participating in the persecution. About 40 Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Sendai and took advantage of this opportunity to clarify the truth and expose the persecution. -
United States: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in the San Diego Street Festival

On March 28, 2004, San Diego Falun Gong practitioners participated in the 8th Rolando Street Festival. They set up a booth to introduce Falun Dafa and explain to people about persecution in China. State Assemblywoman Sherry Horton, who had issued a proclamation for Falun Dafa in the past, arrived at the festival and visited the booth. -
Taiwan: Introducing Falun Dafa at Shuangfeng Elementary School

March 27 was the annual Shuangfeng Elementary School Carnival, and Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in this event. Practitioners presented a "The Peaceful Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition and demonstrated Falun Gong exercises for students, teachers and local residents. -
Taiwan: Introducing Falun Dafa in Taiwan's Government Offices
2004-04-03From March 8 to April 2, "Employee Life and Health Program: A Workshop Series for Introducing Falun Dafa" was held in the Taipei Central United Office Building. During this four-week activity, several Falun Gong practitioners were invited to give speeches, share their experiences with practicing Falun Gong, as well as explain the fundamental ways to have health and a good life. -

On March 13 and 14 2004, a series of activities were held celebrating the 74th anniversary of Gukong Primary School in Yunlin County, Taiwan. Through the efforts of Falun Gong practitioner Principal Xu and other local practitioners, a Falun Gong exercise demonstration and photo exhibition were arranged. These activities won a warm response from local people. -

On March 26, 2004, more than 10 Illinois Falun Gong practitioners went to Dekalb to participate in its annual health expo. The expo attracts thousands of faculty, students and local residents every year, and this is the 5th time practitioners participated in this health expo since the year 2000. -
Canada: Canadian Victim of Jiang Zemin's Persecution of Falun Gong Asks Canada's Justice Minister to Allow Chinese Officials to be Prosecuted
2004-03-31Professor Zhang Kunlun, a Canadian citizen and a Falun Gong practitioner, has asked Attorney General Cotler to allow him to use a part of Canadian Criminal Code and an anti-terror regulation that became effective in 2001 in order to bring 22 Chinese officials, including Jiang Zemin, to justice. -

On March 28, Falun Gong practitioners from Kinki area held signature collection in the well-known attraction site Osaka Park to support bring Jiang to justice. The theme of this activity was to express gratitude to Japanese people for their support in rescuing Ms. Yoko Kaneko and call for support to bring Jiang, the chief perpetrator of the persecution to justice. -
New Zealand: Falun Gong Practitioners Introduce Falun Dafa at Palmerston North City Culture Festival

Canada: Appeal Letter Calling for End to China's Hate Propaganda is Delivered to Canadian Prime Minister's Office along with 50,000 Signatures

On March 22, practitioners delivered an appeal letter with 50,000 Canadian people's signatures to the Canadian Prime Minister. In the letter, practitioners call on the Canadian government to urge the Chinese government to end the persecution of Falun Gong and spread of hate propaganda in Canada.
