New Zealand: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition Held in Wellington

On July 25-30, an exhibition of Falun Gong practitioners' paintings was held at the Michael Fowler Center in Wellington. Many people came to visit the exhibition and after learning about the persecution in China, visitors showed their support for Falun Gong and strongly condemned the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) actions. -

Gretchen Birkle is U.S. Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. In recent testimony before the U.S. Congress, she said that the Chinese government's repression of citizens seeking to exercise their fundamental rights remains a systemic problem. Ms. Birkle said the Chinese authorities have committed numerous and serious human rights abuses, including torture, mistreatment of prisoners, detention without notification and communication, and denial of due process of law. -

Taipei: Introducing Falun Dafa at the National Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum (NPM) in Taipei is home to one of the foremost collections of Chinese art in the world, constant streams of people come here to visit.In recent years, tourists who came here saw a unique scene. On the plaza in front of the museum, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises and distributed fliers. -
Taiwan: Minghui Summer Camp

The first Miaoli Tonghsiao Minghui Summer Camp was held on July 23rd and 24th. The summer camp was sponsored by the town government and planned by local Falun Gong practitioners. Every participant enjoyed the event very much and promised to attend next time. -

Peru: Practitioners Holding Candlelight Vigil in Front of Chinese Consulate on the Sixth Anniversary of the Persecution

On July 23rd, 2005, practitioners in Peru gathered in a park in front of Chinese Consulate and held a commemorative candlelight vigil and called for an end of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) six-year-long ongoing persecution. Later, the President's motorcade following a police van passed slowly by in front of the practitioners. -

Japan: Wonderful Performances at the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi

To bring some of the beauty of Falun Dafa to more people, practitioners in Japan took part in the six-month-long 2005 World Exposition being held in Aichi County. Practitioners hung banners outside the Outdoor Theatre in the Seto Area, and performed dancing and singing. -

The mother and brother of Ms. Liang Zhen, a Hong Kong reporter for New Tang Dynasty TV Station (NTDTV) were detained on July 19th in Luzhou, Sichuan Province. On July 27th, Ms. Liang and supporters from all circles gathered in front of China's Liaison Office in Hong Kong. -

United States: Scenes from the 7·20 Rally in Washington, DC

At around 9 a.m. on July 21, 2005, practitioners from all over the world came to the lawn at the west side of Capitol Hill. The theme of the rally was "Let's Jointly End the Persecution Against Falun Gong." Many renowned politicians and human rights activists came onto the stage to voice their support for practitioners. -
Australia: Queensland Practitioners Hold Activities to Raise Awareness of the Six-Year Persecution

On July 16, practitioners came to King George Square in Brisbane to hold activities to promote Falun Dafa and raise awareness about the 6-year persecution. While a group of practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises, others reenacted some of the torture methods used in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
