Ms. Wang Liqun, 48, Tortured to Death in Shuangcheng City Second Detention Centre in Heilongjiang Province

On September 28th, 2006, the State Security Division head and many police arrested several Falun Dafa practitioners including Ms. Wang Liqun at their home. On September 30th Ms. Wang Liqun died inside the detention centre. The authorities are trying to block the information. In order to hide the truth, they have spread rumours that they are planning a large-scale arrest of all Falun Dafa practitioners, and threatened Ms. Wang's daughter to give her signature to have Ms. Wang's body cremated quickly. Ms. Wan agreed under pressure. When Ms. Wang's body was cremated, four vans full of armed police officers were patrolling the area. -
Ms. Cui Xuewei of Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province, 41, Dies as the Result of Persecution
2006-11-19Cui Xuewei was detained in Shuangyashan City Detention Centre. She went on a hunger strike protesting the persecution. They force-fed her, and as a result she couldn't stop twitching. The prison doctor mocked her instead of sending her to the hospital, "You want to go to the hospital? Force-feed her until she's full!" For a long time, the labour camp ordered the male prisoners to force-feed the practitioners. These prisoners have no medical training and have no regard for the practitioners' lives. Ms. Cui was later sentenced to two years of forced labour. She almost lost her eyesight from the torture. As a result of the prolonged persecution, Ms. Cui Xuewei passed away on August 6th, 2006. -
Practitioner Mr. Liu Jianwen of Shanxi Province, Dies at 38 as a Result of the Persecution

Mr. Liu Jianwen, a Falun Dafa practitioner passed away on October 17th, 2006, after being persecuted for many years. He was 38. In October 2001, he was sentenced to two years of forced labour. By the summer of 2002 he was skin and bones and suffered severe anaemia. By the time he was released Mr. Liu did not recover and his legs felt numb all the time. -
Five People from One Family Detained; Ms. Zhao Yinglan Dies at 69 Due to Persecution
2006-11-18Ms. Zhao Yinglan was from Jiansanjiang Farm, Heilongjiang Province. Five people in her family were arrested and detained, including her two sons, one daughter, and two daughters-in-law. Four of them (except her younger son) were sent to a forced labour camp; all because of their belief in Falun Gong and following the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." On March 20th, 2006, Ms. Zhao's daughter-in-law, Ms. Cao Xiufang, was arrested again. Because of all the sorrow, worry, and pain she went through, 69-year-old Ms. Zhao died on June 16th. -
Six Deaths Due to the Persecution Recently Learned
2006-11-17During the last seven years of bloody persecution by Jiang Zemin's regime and the Chinese Communist Party, many practitioners who cultivate the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" have been persecuted both physically and mentally. The Jiang regime and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) used each other for their own ends to inhumanely persecute this most kind-hearted group of people in Chinese society. As a result, many practitioners have been physically harmed and mentally injured. Some of these practitioners have even died while uncleared of false charges. -
Stories of Practitioners Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2006-11-17On September 28th, 2001, 52-year-old Ms. Wang Xiurong was arrested by the police and dragged down the stairs from the third floor. She was detained at the local police station, where she was severely beaten by the Deputy Director, and was not released until she was tortured to near the point of death. The 610 Office also forced her to write a letter renouncing her beliefs and practice of Falun Gong, otherwise her son would lose his job. She developed rectal cancer and passed away on September 23rd, 2003. -
Further Information on Elderly Ms. Cheng Guilan's Death in 2002 As a Result of Persecution by the No. 2 Forced Labour Camp in Anning District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cheng Guilan, was over 60 years old and a senior engineer. One night in October 2002, she was sent to the No.2 Forced Labour Camp in Lanzhou City. Within 48 hours, she was secretly tortured to death by the guards in the forced labor camp. In order to cover up their crimes, the labour camp lied by saying that Ms. Cheng's life had been in danger when she was brought there. Yet the prisoner assigned to monitor Ms. Cheng admitted, "When she was sent here, she was very healthy." -
In Remembrance of Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhong
2006-11-16In 2004, after suffering a series of inhumane tortures, Mr. Zhang Zhong was in critical condition – all his organs were malfunctioning, he had spasms in muscles all over his body, partial psychological paralysis, breathing complications, irregular heartbeat and he was in a coma for long periods of time. His blood pressure constantly oscillated around 40-50 mm. Hg. He was reduced to skin and bones. Only in this near-death situation did the prison agree to have him bailed out for medical treatment. Even then, the city was barricaded and Zhang Zhong was not allowed to go outside Daqing City for treatment in Harbin. Seeing his emaciated son, Zhang Zhong's father could only cry silently and helplessly. -
Elderly Ms. Ding Guixiang from Jilin Province Dies as a Result of Persecution
2006-11-1371-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Ding Guixiang had been detained multiple times, threatened for many years, and harassed repeatedly. Prior to 2002, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and was twice taken to Lishu County Detention Centre. Later she was sentenced to one year of forced labour. Due to the length of time she was mistreated, threatened, and tortured, Ms. Ding Guixiang died on August 27th, 2006. -
With Orders to "Transform or Beat to Death" Guards Cruelly Torture Practitioners at Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-11-13Guards in Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labour Camp persecute practitioners by force-feedings, beatings, and "Straightjackets". Early in 2000, on the second floor of the camp, a practitioner in her 60's (name unknown) was force-fed while holding a hunger strike. Guards violently forced a feeding tube into her trachea resulting in her death. Inmates used wooden boards to carry her body out of the camp and left her by the front gate. A white car took her body away. -
More Details Concerning Ms. Yang Hongyan's Death in 2004 in Yang'ai Prison, Guizhou Province

On July 27th 2001, Ms. Yang Hongyan was sentenced to a four-year prison term. In December of 2004, just before the completion of her term the authorities of Guizhou Province organised various jail officials to learn new ways to intensify the persecution against Guizhou practitioners. Ms. Yang Hongyan was persecuted to death in the Guizhou Provincial Public Security Hospital. -
Ms. Ji Xiulan, 53, of Anqiu City Died in 2003 Due to the Persecution
2006-11-13Ms. Ji went to Beijing in October 1999 and January 2000 to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. She was arrested by the police, then detained in the Anqiu Detention Centre. Officers extorted 10,000 yuan from her. In July 2000 her husband was sent to a forced labour camp and Ms. Ji was left to take care of their three children. Police continued to harass and threaten her and attempted to brainwash her. Ms. Ji suffered a great deal both mentally and physically, and sadly, she passed away in May 2003. -
Five Falun Gong Practitioners from Liaoning, Hebei and Hunan Provinces Died in Persecution
2006-11-12Ms. Chen Zixing, who is in her forties, was a resident of Changde City, Hunan Province. Before she practised Falun Gong, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her cancer was cured completely after she started practising Falun Gong. After July 20th, 1999, she was harassed and persecuted many times by the 610 Office and her local community government officials. This resulted in a mental collapse and relapse of breast cancer. She passed away after the Chinese new year of 2005. -
Ms. Fu Yuhuan, 56, from Sanhe City, Hebei Province Died in 2005 after Repeated Persecution

Falun Gong practitioner Fu Yuhuan died at the age of fifty-six. Officers from the local police station and the local government repeatedly harassed her and persecuted her. Due to the persecution, she was traumatised and her physical body was damaged greatly. Every day, she suffered enormous psychological pressure. Occasionally, she was in a trance-like state. She died in a car accident on September 7th, 2005. -
Eight Falun Gong Practitioners from Guzhi District, Tangshan City Die Due to Persecution
2006-11-11Mr. Zhao Yinqi was 59 years old. On November 20th, 2002, Mr. Zhao was detained at the Hehuakeng Forced Labour Camp of Tangshan City due to his perseverance in cultivating Falun Dafa. He was cruelly tortured to death on December 30th. The Hehuakeng Forced Labour Camp lied about the cause of his death and called it a "natural death." However people who viewed Mr. Zhao's body saw an indentation on his skull and a piece of flesh missing over his right rib. There were bruises from his hip all the way to his back and his neck. His eyes, hands and fingernails were all dark purple. His abdomen was slim but was injected with water so as to appear "plump."
