Torture in Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp

Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp is responsible for the torture of many practitioners. Mr. Li Wanyun was tortured to the point that it left him with festering wounds all over his body. He was not able to wear clothes. In March staff at the forced labour camp carried out an "Attack the Fort" campaign to torture Falun Gong practitioners who remained firm in their belief. -
Suffered Ten Rounds of Kidnapping and Persecution Before He Died

Mr. Wang Guibin was arrested and tortured ten times before he died. To escape the persecution, he once had to flee from home and sleep overnight in a shack next to a melon paddy and in a tomb. On September 1st, 2006, the police arrested Mr. Wang Guibin and took him to Shisanli Detention Centre. At around 4:00 p.m., September 15th, the police from Wanquan State Security Team took Mrs. Wang to the morgue and told her that Mr. Wang had passed away. -
Ms. Li Yuxiang Suffered All Kinds of Torture and Died at 49

Ms. Li Yuxiang was a practitioner from Shandong Province. Since July 20th, 1999 the police frequently went to her home to ransack her house, detain and fine her. She was sent to forced labour camps twice. After a severe beating, her face was bruised and swollen. Her mouth was bleeding, there were two big lumps on her head, her body was covered with cuts and bruises, and her hair had been yanked out. She died on January 25th, 2005. -
Two Falun Gong Practitioners from Sichuan and Hubei Provinces Died as a Result of Persecution

On January 22nd, 2005, eight policemen broke in to the house of Mr. Zhang Hongwei and Ms. Shang Zhongxian and ransacked the premise, leaving nothing unturned. They took away the two practitioners, who were only wearing their underwear, by force. The practitioners were taken to a police car and then to a brainwashing centre. Their two-year-old child was left alone unattended at home, crying and screaming, with the front door wide open. Ms. Shang Zhongxian succumbed to the torture at the forced brainwashing centre and renounced Falun Gong in writing. She passed away on August 5th, 2005. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaogeng, 42, Dies as a Result of Torture in Jiamusi City
2006-09-3042-year-old Ms. Zhang Xiaogeng was arrested three times and suffered much persecution and torture. While imprisoned in Jiamusi City Forced Labour Camp, she was beaten, handcuffed with her arms behind her back and she was in so much pain that she could hardly breathe and thought she would die. She forced to do slave labour. Several doctors and guards also forcibly drew blood from her. Ms. Zhang Xiaogeng was released after three years and one week of imprisonment. However, she never recovered from the abuse she suffered in detention, and passed away on September 13th, 2006. -
Mr. Yin Anbang, 38, a Practitioner from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, Persecuted to Death at Tailai Prison

Mr. Yin Anbang, a former teacher and practitioner from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, was persecuted cruelly and repeatedly. On February 5th, 2006, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) court in the Daoli District secretly tried Mr. Yin. He was sentenced to four years of imprisonment in Hulan Prison. On the afternoon of August 15th 2006, he was persecuted to death at the age of 38 at Tailai Prison in Qiqihar City. -
Two Cases of Becoming Healthy after Practising Falun Gong, Then Dying Due to Persecution
2006-09-2970-year-old Mr. Bai Ruyi had many diseases before he practised Falun Gong. He had hypertension, heart disease and liver dysfunction. In 1998 he started reading a Falun Dafa book. After one month, he stopped taking all his medications. After July 20th, 1999, when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong, Bai Ruyi suffered from harassment, and police searches of his home. The police forced him to write a guarantee statement renouncing Falun Gong. The resulting guilt along with the policemen's harassment and threats caused Bai Ruyi to lose his environment for studying Dafa, and thus he became weaker and weaker. His liver diseases recurred; he vomited blood, and passed away on September 2nd, 2004. -
Four Falun Dafa Practitioners from Xinjiang, Hebei, and Henan Provinces Were Persecuted to Death
2006-09-2736-year-old Niu Dehui went to Beijing to appeal to higher authorities in January 2001. He was arrested by the police in Beijing and returned to his home town on October 16th. He'd only been home for an hour when he was arrested and detained again. Finally Niu's family found someone who helped them, and they were then allowed to visit him after he'd been detained for a month. When they went to the police station a few months later, someone told them, "I heard that he was sentenced to two years at the Daquangou Forced Labour Camp where he was tortured to death on April 27th, 2002." -
Information about Three Dafa Practitioners in Hebei, Shandong and Shaanxi Provinces Who Died Recently Due to the Persecution

Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Ying was arrested, detained, and sent to a labour camp for a two-year term in May 2006. She continued to suffer persecution at Wangcun Labour Camp. To achieve the goal of "transforming" her, the persecutors at the labour camp did not allow Wang Ying to sleep, and forced her to write articles against Dafa. An old illness that she had developed before starting cultivation re-emerged, and Ms. Wang died on August 7th. -
Mr. Hou Zhiqiang's Wife Died as a Result of Persecution, and He Has Been Brutally Tortured
2006-09-26Mr. Hou Zhiqiang, 44 years old, started practising Falun Dafa in 1998. After the persecution started on July 20th, 1999, he was repeatedly arrested by the local 610 Office and police, interrogated, harassed, injured by violence, and made to do forced labour. Both his body and mind were severely hurt, and his family was torn to pieces. His wife, Ms. Men Xiaohua, was sentenced to forced labour and suffered severe mental and physical persecution. She died in the summer of 2003. Mr. Hou was twice sent to serve forced labour, for a total of four and a half years. -
Information about Several Practitioners Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2006-09-25Ms. Tan Xiangxing, 60, went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was arrested. Since then she was constantly monitored and often detained. Changsha County Court sentenced Ms. Tan to a three-year prison term. She was diagnosed with severe lung disease and the prison refused to take her. Changsha First Detention Centre detained her for another six months before releasing her on bail for medical treatment. After seven years of mental and physical persecution, and after losing her livelihood, Ms. Tan passed away at the end of November 2005. -
Ms. Chen Suxiang Beaten to Death Within One Day of Being Detained

On September 13th, 2006, Ms. Chen Suxiang was arrested and taken to the Kaiping Police Station. Her mother and husband went to the station to request her release. She told her family how she was being brutally beaten. There were bruises on her legs. At around 3:00 p.m., on the same day Ms. Chen said she needed to use the toilet. She had to be helped by two female police officers to reach the toilet. Ms. Chen never walked out. They found that she had passed out. By the time they sent her to Jingezhuang Mine Hospital, she had already died. -
Practitioner Mr. Wang Guibin Persecuted to Death in Hebei Province
2006-09-24On September 1st, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Guibin was arrested by police officers from the Wanquan County Public Security Bureau, the National Security Team, and the Ximalin Town police station, as well as officials from the Village Party Council. He was sent to the Shisanli Detention Centre in Zhangjiakou to be persecuted. At 1:00 a.m. on September 14th the police declared that Mr. Wang had died; however, his wife was prohibited from seeing his body. -
After Suffering Years of Persecution, 74-Year-Old Ms. Liu Yuerui Dies
2006-09-2474-year-old Ms. Liu Yuerui recovered her health after practising Falun Dafa. In the fast few years, she and her son, Mr. Li Zuoqing, were persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and her son was detained in a forced labour camp. Ms. Liu's son and son-in-law were fooled by the lies of CCP and abused their mother. Ms. Liu Yuerui was persecuted for a long time and was under enormous pressure from her family. Ms. Liu died on April 25th, 2006. -
The Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Jiangsu Province (Part 3)
2006-09-23Practitioner Ms. Zhou Fenglin, 32 years old, was arrested at home on December 27th, 2000, by police. To protest the arbitrary detention Ms. Zhou launched a hunger strike. She was put on the "Forbidden Board" for nine days and hung up for 17 nights. The "Forbidden Board" is the most severe punishment, used exclusively to torture death penalty prisoners. The victim is handcuffed and shackled tightly to a wooden board, so that she cannot move, not even when relieving herself. This punishment is so cruel that after only several hours on the board, most people would rather die than be tortured in this way. Ms. Zhou passed away around midnight on January 9th, 2001.
